Hi. This is the Javascript version, so it has not PHP. The timelines are managed on json file, and are rendered by Javascript.
I installed the plugin and it works good. but after the website went down I did some testing.. The plugin uses a lot of resources, it leaves the other process with little to no PHP workers to handle them, resulting in a timeout that ultimates produces the 504.. That should not be the case fo such a “small” plugin right? Hope you can help with this.. Kind regards.

Is it possible to have a link in the timeline content? For instance, July 4th, 2020 has content about a book launch and then a link that is clickable to go to another page in he website about the launch.

Hello, I am trying to use Timeline with CodeIgniter 3. Is there any changes to do somewhere. I tried some working solutions but I have an issue with images. Where is it possible to change the path : \timelines\images?

Hi, I’m using “Quick Timeline” in a wordpress site. It works everything correctly, but there is just one qiuestion. I added a lightbox plugin to open link to images on a modal popup. It doesn’t work on html loaded by json. You can see an example here: https://lnx.archiviocrispolti.it/timeline/ In 1933 there is a link “immagine” to an image with the re=”lightbox”. This html is loaded by timeline_1.json. Below there is the same html, written directly in the page. The first link doesn’t work, the second is ok, it opens the image in a modal popup. There is a reason why loading code via json makes lightbox link not working? Or there is something I’m doing wrong? Thank you Francesco

Because this script is Javascript version, you have implemented the custom work to integrate it into your WP site. We don’t understand your system, so can’t know why it not work. Maybe, the timeline is created by Javascript, so when it load, it can’t call other Javascript library like lightbox.

Hi. To do it, you need modify the timeline.js (line 152-159). Now, when the screen > 768px, the items = data-items, when the screen < 768, the items = 1.
Can the V5 timeline have 600-700 items (Mix of text only and image)? How is the data managed for such a huge timeline?
