I have a couple pre-sale questions:

1) Can you have nested conditional dropdown menus? We’ll need four levels minimum.

2) Can we display text under the dropdown menus when an item is selected?

3) Can we import/export data in xml or some other format? We’ll have a lot of items so we’ll need to write a script to set up the conditional logic rather than doing it by hand.

1) I”m not sure what you mean mean by that. Can you give me an example please?

2, 3) No, you cannot

Presales Question: I have two price list for different flavours of cakes (flavour 1 has a price list for size, and flavour 2 has a price list for different size)

for example, if a customer select size 4inches and then select flavour 1 is should show the price for 4 inch cake in flavour 1 ($59). then if he select flavour 2 it should show the price for 4inches cake in flavour 2 ($80).

Is this possible with your plugin?

What I don’t see possible is to determine your single price from which flavor is selected. That part alone makes it not possible to use standard pricing. I just don’t see how the pricing would be accomplished without customization.

what kind of customization?

Customization to get the pricing the way you want to. There isn’t anything in the plugin that would solve this particular request. The options created with the plugin have pricing enabled but that price is being added to the product price. There isn’t anything so that if you select one options (eg flavor 2) to disregard another option price (flavor 1). If that is what you are going on you cannot use the plugin alone for something like that. Actually I’m not aware of any plugin (free of paid) that does something like that, that is why I told you that you probably going to need a customization for that, meaning that you would need to contact a developer to modify the pricing for this situation.

Hi! I have pre-sale question. Is this plugin compatible with Divi?

Compatible in what way exactly? I don’t see what your page builder has to do with the plugin. A lot of buyers use Divi if that is what you mean, but if you mean something more specific you will need to elaborate.

Divi has product builder, to make changes in product view, so if I use this builder, I want to be sure, that I cat use it with this plugin :)

The builder has nothing to do with the plugin. The option you create with the plugin are set to run in WooCommerce hooks, predefined or custom. Whether the hooks are there that is up to the theme you use, but any theme or builder for that matter should utilize the native WooCommerce hooks.

If you mean if you can use the Divi builder to create the options of the plugin then obviously that cannot be possible. The plugin has its own builder where you create the options.

Hi, I have one presale question: I have many products of one category that have all the same product options, so I would apply them global. Also I would need a conditionl logic. For example: All products in this category can be ordered with normal leather or with premium leather. Default value is “normal leather”. But if the customer choose “premium leather” in a product specific selection box the radio buttons for normal leather image colors should disappear and the radio buttons for premium leather colors should appear. Is this conditional logic possible for global product options? The value in the product specific selection box is the same for all product of this category. But I need it per product because it contains som other values. Hope you can understand what I mean. Thanks for help! Lisa

Ok thank you. Do you plan to enable this in future updates? And if not, is it possible to archieve conditional logic of global forms to specific products with coding? What would I need for that…javascript?

There is nothing to enable I’m afraid. There cannot be any connection to a global form and the options created directly in the product.

Ok, thanks for your fast and helping anser!

Pre-sale Question i would like to know if the extended license, can be use as SAAS?

I need more information as to what you mean for this. In general the Extended license is used for 1 end product which is sold to the end user, meaning they have to pay to use your product.

The Extended license doesn’t cover On-demand products/services (e.g. “made to order” or “create your own” apps and sites). For that case you will need one license per each customized end product.

Hi there,

Looks like a fantastic plugin.

Just a quick pre-purchase question, Is this compatible with the Woocommerce Composite Product plugin? > https://woocommerce.com/products/composite-products/

Thank you

HI there,

I am having issues with composite products. The product options (when a product is selected) are not displaying on the composite product eg > https://dev.dcpatios.com.au/product/custom-build-your-carport-or-patio/.

I also set up a support forum account and have not received an email with the login information, as I can see that another person is having the same issues.

Thanks for your help.

Understood. I have sent the same message via your profile :-)

Hello Does plugin compatible with cartflow sale funnel? Does plugin compatible wpform if we import csv file to wpform? thank you

For the cartflow plugin it depends if cartflow has the native WooCommerce action hooks and filters that are available on the product page. I can’t answer that as I have never used it nor I had a user that used cartflow asking me for help.

For the wpform I really don’t see what the plugin has to do it with wpforms.

In general the plugin is for the product page only. While there are exceptions where you can use the plugin outside of the actual WooCommerce page you will still need to be inside a WooCommerce product environment in order for the plugin to function.

Do note that there isn’t any official compatibility with those two plugins.

Thanks for your quick reply I check cartflow fully support woocommerce hooks. your plugin not support because when we click edit options and update cart then cart products prices are change for example if we offer buy 1 get 1 free when customer click edit options then after update cart free product show full price

I’m not sure where you are getting that “buy 1 get 1 free” as default WooCommerce has nothing like that, but it seems that whatever you are using for that is not compatible with the plugin.

Hi, all products in the same category must have the same attributes. How can I assign the same attributes to all the products in a category? Thank you very much.

If by attributes you mean the options created by this plugin then use the global forms.

I found the solution!!

Hi Required field validation working for Text field but not working for Select option field

Default value is set for Select option in my setting.

Is any steps missed by me?

The validation works just fine. You probably misconfigured the select option from what you are saying. If you need help with this please open a support ticket. This comment section isn’t for troubleshooting and certainly not for account not marked as a buyer.

Sorry not able to find the support ticket page – please provide the link ?

Here is the support forum link: https://support.themecomplete.com/forums/forum/extra-product-options/

At the end of the list you can create a ticket. You need to be registered first.

Hi, quick pre-sale question. Let’s say I’m selling boxes in custom sizes. I’s it possible with this plugin to add three form fields where the customer can fill out width, height and depth (in cm)?

Will it also be possible to add the math functions to calculate a price based on filled out measurements form these there forms?

Cheers / Christian

You can add the form fields and you can create math formulas but the formula can only be attached to a field which will then increase the product price. You cannot use the formula directly on the product price if that makes sense.

Hi Themecomplete. so I have a product configuration idea and was wondering if this plugin can help me out.

I want to trigger free shipping when a customer selects an option. is this possible with this plugin?

I’m afraid shipping isn’t affected by the plugin at the moment.

Hi, may i know how to hide the option price on product page https://i.imgur.com/ViTR0a9.png

Go to the plugin settings->General tab->Final totals box and change to value that only has the final price.

Hi,

In your Plugin What is the Role of Index.php with <?php // Direct access security. die();

my client buy this plugin

This is for directory security, so the contents of the directories are not visible.

presale question; it appears (and honestly i’ve looked at so many extra product options plugins that i may be conflating things here) that I can set conditional options based on default woo attributes (so, if i had an attribute that was “would you like a monogram on your product?” with yes/no options, I’d only get the various monogram options to show if someone selected ‘yes.’). IF that’s possible, I have a bit of a fringe case. I’d like to use this plugin in conjunction with woo’s stock ‘product add-ons’ plugin, and ideally the conditional logic would be based on a selection within the product add-ons.

Weird, I know, but it’s because we’re trying to make our woo shop work best with in-store POS system, and most of those don’t play well with multiple attributes. We’ve found one that will read woo’s product add-ons, so I’m planning on setting all of the ‘price altering’ things within product add-ons, and then use this plugin to just handle the ‘ok, you’ve said you want this, how do you want it to look’ aspects that need to be handled on the site…while in-store we’ll just write them down (not ideal, but the best way to handle things that I can think of).

So (tl;dr), can conditional logic be triggered by a ‘product add-ons’ field? If not by default, can we pay for custom support that can link this somehow?

That would be the easiest way to do it, but I can work around it if not. I’m positive that having conditional logic for our customization options will be worth it even if i can’t get it to work perfectly for us in this fringe case.

This plugin has conditional logic that can be based on the variation, not the attribute, when you create the options directly on the product. You cannot use thought along any other addon plugin, those don’t work together by design.

So, no, you cannot trigger the logic based on addon created by another plugin whatever that plugin may be. What you want isn’t actually possible by any addon plugin. You would have to get someone to create this for you and this would mean that you wouldn’t be able to update the plugin.

In my opinion you shouldn’t be mixing addon plugins.

hi! Does the latest version (5.0.12.8) works with WordPress 5.5 and WooCommerce 2.6.4? When I update my current version (4.9.7) the plugin vanishes at all from Settings and gui. It stays only in Plugins with the only option to deactivate. Is this expected? Thanks!

The plugin is compatible with WordPress 5.4 but the latest WooCommerce version is 4.4.1 not 2.6.4

The minimum supported WooCommerce version is 3x if that is what you meant. You shouldn’t be running such old WooCommerce version though anyway. Requirements like this may change overtime, otherwise there would be no progress.

Many thanks!

Hi there, I have this plugin installed on a client site I have inherited, I’m going to buy the license so I can update it (the current version is very old and missing some of the newer features) I understand that in order to update from an older version i need to delete the plugin and reinstall the new plugin files. Will this remove all of the settings that are currently in the old plugin or do they get stored? Am I going to have to redo all the extra product options if I update from v 4.6.9.4?

Even though I have to delete it and reinstall it?

Sweet, thankyou :-)

Like to set pricing like below upto 5 character – £5 upto 8 character – £6.50 upto 11 character – £7.50 over 12 character – £10 Please let me know how to set this any examples ?

No, it isn’t. There aren’t any price breaks, you can only set price per character.

Hi there! Is it possible to change the resolution of the image-size (for swapping) to “full”, for all my products at once? Maybe with a database query? Or maybe in a setting somewhere (or force this through PHP)? I have a lot of products with individual options and images. I don’t want to go over all of them, click them one by one and change the image-resolution settings.

When I update my Wordpress and this plugin, it automatically set this setting to the 300×300 thumbnail. Before it was just “empty” (not selected) and showed the full image. I can’t upgrade because of this.

Hope you can help me!

If that is true then by reverting to the previous version you wouldn’t have this issue. I really don’t think that this is what is happening here. The plugin saves those URLs as a string, it cannot choose afterwards if it will display the full image or the thumbnail image, it just doesn’t work like this. Updating either WordPress, WooCommerce or the plugin also doesn’t and cannot have any effect in those URLs.

It doesn’t make any sense that your saved images changed on their own by updating anything. The only way the image can change is if you manually select it and save the options.

There is also no way in bulk editing anything in that aspect. Doing any search and replace on the database will just render ALL of your option invalid as you will invalidate the serialized string in which they are saved.

Again, the images don’t change on their own by updating WordPress, WooCommerce or the plugin, it is physically not possible for something like that to happen.

I tested it again on a new staging environment. I tested every step in the process. Updated all the plugins, including Woocommerce, then updated Wordpress to 5.5. Tested everything: worked fine. The last step is updating the plugin from 5.0.7 to the latest version. Refreshed the page and all the images are blurry because it uses the attachement-settings which are (I guess) automatically set to medium (300). When I roll back to 5.0.7 the images are fine again!

So I’m 100% sure there is something in the new version that causes this. It doesn’t happen in the older version and I can reproduce it by changing versions.

I can fix this by manually changing all the images to use the full image, but it is a lot of work in my case. I never choose ‘medium’ in the past, never bothered with this setting since all the images showed the full-res by default in 5.0.7.

I cannot duplicate something like that on my end. You will need to open a support ticket about this.

Before buying a plugin, I want to clarify I have a product (air conditioner) and it has a parameter (Attribute) “Power (BTU)”. Can I use your plug-in to configure the additional option “Installation” of the air conditioner. If “Power” = 7 BTU, then the installation price will be $ 5. If “Power” = 12 BTU, will the installation price be $ 7? Do not manually add the price for “Installation” for each product, but will the price be automatically generated depending on the “Capacity (BTU)” of the air conditioner?

The plugin creates addons for the product, it doesn’t alter how variations work. What you describe isn’t actually possible by any plugin or custom solution because you are trying to configure a variation (which is product specific) to a global addon and you want that for all products. I’m sorry you cannot use variation in that case. If you want anything done globally you will to only use the addon options of the plugin.

Hello, I want to use a price variable within a sentence on the product page. For example: You will pay {variable1} for {variable2} units!

My goal is to create a personalized message for the customer as he changes the product. I know that there are IFs in the plugin, but I have a product that can be configured in 100 different ways, making IF for each one would be boring.

No need to double post please. As I told in the email you sent me I don’t see what this has to do with the plugin. The plugin is only for creating addon elements to the product page.
