Yes indeed, there’s a conflict between the color-picker-alpha (used by the Media Boxes) and the new version of WP (5.5).

I have released a fix for this, please download the plugin again and replace it via FTP, that should fix it

Oh, sorry for the confusion. I can’t put a screenshot so I’ll go from the Dashboard >> Media Boxes >> EDIT >> Layout Tab >> “Position Filters,Searc & Sort” section >> Under “Current Grid”. There is 2 lines where we can drop our filter groups. Thing is. I got more than 2 filter groups so I would like to be able to add some line in order for my filter group to have their own line on the front end. I’m pretty sure it’s doable if I interfer with your code but then I won’t be able to update the plugin. So I was wondering if it was in your roadmap to make it available for us to chose the number of lines at this emplacement.

Ohh I think I understand now! There’s another alternative in this case, you can place each filter group via shortcode in your page (instead of using the “Layout” tab)

Just go to the filter/search/sort tab and under each filter group you’ll see a small button named “View Shortcode” then you can copy the shortcode and place it in your page anywhere

I gave you the link twice with user and password, after several days you tell me that you didn’t know that wordpress 5.4.x has the default acf fields. You have not verified the info I have given you. If you want to correct your plugin install the latest version of wordpress, study the acf fields by default.

Hey again mate, hope all’s well. I’m just wondering how I could change the layout of categories. Some categories are already made and it would make things easier if you could switch them around after adding new ones, especially if you’re dealing with a ‘volume’ style category system ie. Vol.01, Vol.02 etc.

Yes, I’m talking about the admin section. Let’s say I already have some categories made… and site users always see the same first category first, as opposed to adding a newer category to push the older one down the category list. Kind of like ‘volume 1 was made in 2019’ and now I want to add volume 2 from 2020 and so on. The 2019 volume would always be the first volume from the selection. Would there be a way to edit this so when new categories are added, you can switch/change where they appear?

I can’t seem to get it to work then. There’s an option to edit or delete them. Hovering the mouse over the tab only hovers over the text/name of the category but I can’t move them.

Ohhh, the ordering must be done in the “Filter-Search-Sort” tab of the admin section, can you try there?

I must be going blind. Can’t believe I missed that. That’s brilliant, thank you!

On that note, I have another issue relating to the Sort by filter. I’ve selected multiple sorting (Date, Title, Random) and ‘Default Sorting’ to Random. However, there seems to be a bug or maybe I’m missing something.

Firstly, the sort by box doesn’t display multiple sortings and when I click the dropdown nothing happens.

Secondly, as the default sorting is selected as ‘Random’, when I scroll down the page (load more) the first 12 images stay with me as I scroll down while the freshly loaded ones display above these. I tried messing with ascending and descending sorting order but I keep getting the same bug/issue. Can you help me figure this out please?

1) If I understand correctly you wish to have the grid randomly order since the beginning right? Because the sorting option found in the “search-filter-sort” tab it is for visually ordering what you currently have in the grid (that’s how the isotope logic works), it doesn’t remove the grid and reload it with the new order or something.

One suggestion would be to have all your rows of the same height by doing the following:
1) Make all your images of the same dimensions by setting a global ratio in the admin section (in the “Thumbnail” tab set the “Ratio” setting), the plugin will take care of centering your image accordingly

2) Also I see that the content of your boxes is variable, so I can suggest to add a static height with this lines of CSS (you can add it in the “CSS” tab in the admin section)

Hi David – yes still have the problem here. Running Firefox Mac OS 10.15.5 It loads the top bar with the Sort By, News, Blog options but no news feed items are loaded in.
