Unfortunately, without actually checking it out, I can’t know what is happening exactly.
Normally, you should not change anything in the htaccess or any other file, no (if everything else is done right).
Rather than allow registration through email addresses, etc., could I enable login with FB and that would create accounts?
Also, for your-custom-alias does the program make them all lowercase so SuperMan and superman are not both valid?

what if I did not want that to happen? Case sensitive, in my case, is not preferred.
I, personally, would rather the backend be all lowercase so if someone types someone’s name at domain.com/FirstLast rather than domain.com/firstlast both work for the same user.
Could “case sensitive” your-custom-alias be a toggle on or off in the future?
This is something that you would personally need to edit in the product if you want to acheive this. I do not plan to have such a toggle on and off feature as it is definitely not a feature that is significant enough to be switchable for users.
Does this support Google Adsense?
Yes, you can add your adsense script to it and run ads. Keep in mind that first you’d have to get accepted for that by Google.

Yes, you will have access to that with the Regular license but you won’t have access to the Payment system, invoicing system, discounts/redeemable codes system.

Where do I go to alter colors of the icons?
I had to edit. The comments would not display the greater than less than since it is code.
You edit the color inline for those cases, use the predefined bootstrap color classes or write your own css color classes and add them in there.

Hi there,
I’m just trying to customise the home page. I’m clearly blind because I can not for the life of me find how to change the text color in the top section and menu from white. I’ve removed the blob and now the text can’t be seen.
I’ve looked through the css files and can’t see it. I’m sure it’s right in front of my face lol.

Go to themes/altum/views/partials/menu.php and remove the following condition:

This should stop making it white when not needed if you removed the blob.

Hello there, there is a bug with the social icons even on your demo. Once you input a username, it doesn’t show the icon on the actual page, and also the “Update and update package subscirbers as well ” button leads to all subscribers package get unchecked.

And the button made all the users that had the package that was updated, have no features at all, even tho they were all checked.

They will show up on the page once the biolink page is saved.

But I have a few questions or improvements: -Why can’t you make better SEO optimizations for the landing page so that google crawls the website correctly. E.g. with multiple languages. Is there only the main language crawled?
-Isn’t google crawling the BioLink pages?
- In the demo I noticed that there is no image size limit for custom background images. I uploaded a picture (1020×900px). and the bio link page loads for about 3 seconds, also with the profile picture the same.
- One last question: I just don’t understand the difference between extended and regular licenses. Can I not make a package with the regular license, which costs?

1. Yes, for now, the structure of the languages makes it crawls the main language. Its possible that I will upgrade this moving forward, though.
2. It can crawl biolink pages as well
3. Yes, there is no actual sizing limit
4. The regular license is for personal use, you can’t use the payment systems, you can’t legally charge people for access on your platform (created with phpbiolinks) and you can use the invoicing system, discount codes system or anything related to actual payments.

Hi Altumcode. I am very interested in purchasing this product, however I have some feature suggestions.
1) When a link button is clicked, that the link opens up in a new browser window and not in the current window, as this removes a user from the original page and the other links they may want to use.
2) The ability to upload and view an image or PDF using a link button (or embedded like a youtube video), without using a link to divert to another web page. So a menu or product image can be viewed, as an example.
3) Do you plan to add stats on social buttons in future?

1. Yes, this is done because some older devices can’t open links otherwise inside the instagram app. It can be changed by you with some small changes in the code, though!

Hi, I’m currently still using version 4.7.1 and come to find there might be a bug,, when adding new shorten link it only shows loading and nothing happen. Will the update to 4.8.0 fix the problem?

There are absolutely no bugs like this in the 4.8.0 version, nor should in the 4.7.1 as it was live on the demo for quite a while. This is a problem that might come from your server or configuration.
Make sure to update and if you still face the problem, send me your website link, login and FTP + phpmyadmin via the sidebar of my profile and I will check this for you.

In MySQL, I have to make the changes in steps from your notes for MySql 4.7.0 to 4.7.1 and then to 4.8.0?
The for the actual files, I can just go from 4.6.1. to 4.8.0.

It doesn’t matter, as long as you make sure the files are properly replaced and that you do not skip SQL queries until you get to the latest version

I was running version 4.6.1 on my site. So to avoid time consuming and confusion I deleted old files on my server and directly uploaded 4.8.0 files and added database config details on config.php.
But now when im opening homepage or any link then its showing complete blank page.
