Can this put on a slider (slider revolution) or is there a way to place it on the homepage? Can particular countries in a continent be highlighted and made clickable to redirect to another page?

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out, I don’t think it’s possible to be placed in revolution slider, you can put the shortcode in your home page at any section, i.e using Elementor or Visual Composer. Yes, you can highlight countries and content and set a url redirect for the Call to Action of the region, you can refer to the user guide for more info.

I have a project that is almost similar to https://zimhealthcsos.ngo/csos/directory/ except that Interactive map should be on the home page and clicking each marker should take the site visitor to a specific pre created page.

We want to have mini profile pages for each marker, we have about 50 markers that we want to be populated on the home page which we want to be either Google Maps or any SVG map that is responsive.

Can this plugin achieve this?

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out, it appears that the features are available, although you should check out the live demo first here https://superstorefinder.net/superinteractivemaps/ to make sure it suits your requirements.

Hi, love the plugin – thank you for creating! However I’m seeking for a bit of help. See, I used your nice snippet to hide plenty of the area. Still, it counts it as width of the element (as you can see, purple area is copied: https://www.dropbox.com/s/exgddp6kwy22p2g/N%C3%A4ytt%C3%B6kuva%202021-6-18%20kello%203.12.29.png?dl=0 ) This makes it hard to make it look nice and looks weird on mobile. On mobile, the map gets very small since it’s not full-width – how could it be, since the element still thinks it has relevant stuff to show in right and left sides. (If I try to make it square by turning responsive mode off and changing size, it disappears completely). Hope you understood and can help. Here it is in use. Beauty, huh? https://www.falsedilemma.fi/about-us/ :)

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out, it could be coming from WP theme conflict, when you resize the width of the browser, sometimes you will see the map is hidden or being cut out.

If you check the property inspector and tick and untick the CSS property in the screenshot here https://imgur.com/a/TqJHaGx

This CSS apparently is a global CSS which will affect other plugins as well since it’s using * and all of :before and :after

*, :before, :after {
    box-sizing: border-box;
}

That CSS is pointing to this CSS file https://www.falsedilemma.fi/wp-content/themes/moren/style.min.css

You can try to disable WP theme (set to default) and disable all other plugin and then enable them back one by one as well to be sure which one might be causing the CSS conflict.

As for the map, this is coming directly from Google GeoChart API, unfortunately this will be out of our control.

Hello friend I have followed the api tutorial and it is created but it doesn’t load the map.

How do I get my money back?

You can try to disable all plugin and theme (use Default WP theme) and then enable back the plugin and theme one by one and refresh the page to see which might be causing the conflict. Since, it’s within internal development, we’re unable to troubleshoot further, you can request for a refund via https://support.envato.com

I found another bug:

https://prnt.sc/10gznr1

I’m going to try disabling everything to see if it’s some plugin that conflicts.

Thanks for the screenshot, I believe that message appears on the map listing page, if that’s the case, you can ignore the message as it does not cause any issue. You can try to go to add or edit map page or the frontend itself to see if there’s any errors.

All right, sure thing!

Hello! I’d like to create a map of Greece about a history project. Few questions: a) I’d like to have the Greece map with the prefectures of Greece and not the regions. Is that possible? b) On mouse hover i’d like each prefecture to be colored. Is that possible? c) Clicking on each prefecture, to display a pop up in order the visitors to comment about the prefecture history on a certain period which is the point of the website. Is that possible? d) If you know it would be great – if all the comments on c) step can be saved so every visitor can see the previous comments. Please advise. Thank you in advanced, K-

Hi K,

Thanks for reaching out, for a) and b) the plugin is using Google GeoChart API and unfortunately it can only shows regions based on the latest ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 standards and the list is available here which more details available in the user guide section here. For c) the plugin can display pop ups as per live demo page, however commenting features are not available.

Hi, I would like to know if there is a way to create a “cut-out” map of the world.

Instead of showing the whole world with all the countries, I would like to have the map zoomed in a bit to show the offices in different countries for example.

Is this possible ?

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out, the plugin is using Google GeoChart API, all the maps are coming from Google and it’s out of our control. You can use the zoom and pan feature at admin to display your custom map, more details available at this link here.

Hello again,

Ok that’s what I was looking for, thank you very much for the help.

Thanks a lot for your help.

You’re welcome! Have a great day!

the map is missing the Dominican Republic

The map for Dominican Republic is available as per screenshot here which can be chosen from Map Region field.

Hi there, I have an existing map which I cannot update. Whenever I try to add a marker, the pop up form simply does not submit – the button is not working. Developer console does not give any errors and just states, that your update.php file (I forgot the correct name of the file) is beeing called. But the pop up does not close and the marker won’t be added. Already disabled all other plugins and switched theme – did not help.

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out, try to check the console name it could be updateData.php is being blocked behind a firewall, you can try to provide the full link to your hosting provider so they can unblock the link or provide some logs from there.

If you’re still facing issue, you can provide below details via the contact form here https://codecanyon.net/user/highwarden and we can open a ticket for our devs team to check.

1) purchase code with active support (in order to open ticket)
2) url of website
3) link to screenshot / description of the issue
4) temporary WP admin access
5) temporary FTP access (or WP File Manager plugin installed)

I bought your module yesterday. I have wordpress version 5.5.1 I have two problems:

1. the country “Czech Republic” in Europe is not on the list to choose from (you cannot add it) 2 More importantly: I can’t connect to the API key, I copy the correct one, but this plugin doesn’t work and you can’t add points on the map. The domain is positively verified in Google Search Console.

I’m sending screens to watch:

https://www.dropbox.com/sh/na90ghw3hbypt66/AADMQ6zos0A3lUj0XBwlgssPa?dl=0

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out and providing the details, you can enter CZ in the Location field manually and save, it should show the region.

As for the API key, try to press f12 on your browser to monitor errors that might be appearing in the console and kindly create a new Google API key by referring to the instructions in this article here.

In addition, for step 7 in the knowldege base article above, ensure to enter your domain name format i.e .yoursite.com/

is it normal that Cape Verde does not appear on the map?

Hi there,

The plugin is using Google GeoChart API, unfortunately is not available in the world map and it’s out of our control. However, there’s an individual map for Cape Verde and its provinces available.

Is there a php version that this is not working, I just upgraded to 7.3 and it crashed the site www.reflexology-europe.org (I had to deactivate it so that the site would work…)

the problem seems to be on sim-wp-functions.php on line 355

foreach ($sim_wp_post_ids as $val) { $post_ids_array[]=$val['ID'];}

Hi there,

Our devs team have tested the latest code from Codecanyon on latest WP as well as PHP 7.3.20 as per screenshot here, there’s no errors detected

Try to disable the WP Theme (restore to default) and all plugins, then refresh the page, then try to enable the theme and plugins one by one to see which one might cause the conflict.

If you’re unable to use the plugin or not compatible with your site, you can request for a refund via this link here.

I really like your maps… I reverted to an older php and it works… i will find another way to address the vulnerabilities… Thank you though

Hello, i have this error: SimMapApiKey is not defined, print: http://prntscr.com/t5b9pi

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out, if you’re getting the error, try to download and install the latest version from Codecanyon which is available here. Google provides free $200 monthly credit, you will not be charged unless your site has very high traffic and exceed the monthly usage. In addition, Google Maps API is only used at admin in this plugin so you can add locations easily by letting Google Maps get the latitude and longitude automatically.

If you’re still getting API key error even after creating the key, try to disable the WP Theme (use default theme) and all plugins, and refresh the page to test the functionality. Then enable back the WP Theme / plugins and check to see if there’s any conflict with any of them. It could be conflict with other WP theme or plugins that might be using Google API key.

cool, it worked, can i make only one country appear? without another one appearing around?

That’s great, you can use CSS to hide surrounding other countries, more details available in this knowledge base article here.

Hi there,

I am trying to put a text in the “pop up” windows but then on my map nothing appear … How to do it ?

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out, firstly, you can refer to this user guide here on how to add marker, text label or region (using region codes) on the map. Then, the pop up info can be added to each location as per reference link here.

Once setup, if you click on your marker, region or text label, the pop up should appear as per demo link here.

If the pop up is not appearing, try to disable the WP Theme (use default theme) and all plugins, and refresh the page to test the functionality. Then enable back the WP Theme / plugins and check to see if there’s any conflict with any of them.

If you’re still facing an issue, kindly provide below details via the contact form here https://codecanyon.net/user/highwarden and we can open a ticket to get our tech team to have a closer look

1) url of map
2) link to screenshot / description of the issue
3) temporary WP admin access br> 4) temporary FTP access (or WP File Manager plugin installed)

Hi.

Is it possible to add Antarica to the map?

Thanks.

Hi there,

Thank you for your inquiry, the plugin is using Google GeoChart API, unfortunately, Antartica map is not available yet at this moment from Google.

Hi
I downloaded this product from the Envato Elements site
I installed and inputted my API Key
When I try add map, nothing appears on the form
I get the following error in the console
The message port closed before a response was received.
I also get a Google SensorNotRequired alert
Can you help?

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out, if you see Google SensorNotRequired message it could be that you’re using an older version, try to download the latest version (you can try to request this from Envato Elements). Once the latest version is installed, ensure to deactivate/re-activate the plugin at WP Plugins page and clear browser cache / refresh the page.

Take note, based on Envato Elements support policy here https://help.elements.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000629166-Item-Support-on-Envato-Elements , Elements items does not include technical support

Thank you for your inquiry, yes, you can create Nepal Country and Provinces using the plugin.

Hello I would like to add a map item that reveals travel destinations on click – ie a marker for an airport that reveals markers for other airports on click – is this possible with this plugin?

Hi there,

Thank you for your inquiry, you can create a page with map and icons, upon clicking the marker, it will point to another page with similar map but with different icons. More details on how to create custom icons are available in this knowledge base article here https://superstorefinder.net/superinteractivemaps/custom-marker-map-icon/

Be sure to check the live demo pages before purchase as the off-the-shelf plugin features are based on the live preview demo and item description.

Hello, This plugin shows a problem with re-editing. I use WP 5.3.2 and everywhere is the same problem: If I create a new map everything can be edited without any problems, but as the map is saved and re-edited it is impossible to save the added area at all. Even if I turn off all other plugins, the problem is the same and I tried it on another domain, the same problem.
