Error message that token is expired occurs again. I’m not sure maybe for the time it worked shortly I only used the short life token. But now if I’m regenerating a new token or a long lived token I still get the message its expired. Not sure what I’m missing or doing wrong.
Ok I think I found the problem. When someone tries to reach the page over http it display this token expired message, trying to open with https does work.

What did your new update accomplish? Also, with the new instagram token generator via Facebook….finding getting this is work is an issue with your theme. Any help would be much appreciated.

Instagram Journal is a plugin. This is what I’m talking about.
Gotcha. Do you need a facebook account to get the access token? Or is that only a requirement for a business instagram account?
You just need admin permissions on the instagram account and the facebook page associated with the account.
Is there a work-a-round? I’m sorta banned from using facebook and unable to associate accounts to IG.
To use the Instagram API, you must authenticate so that you can protect your images. How about you just setup a brand new facebook account and give that account permissions. This would workaround you being banned from one account.
Still unable to connect thru facebook. Not my site is throwing an error when the website is loaded. First dialogue box says “A 400 error occurred attempting to fetch your photos. Please check your credentials and try again.” After i click the OK button, another dialogue box pops up and says “A 400 error has occurred attempting to fetch your profile photo. Please check your credentials and try again”. How do i get these removed without integrating with instagram?

I’ve gone through the detailed videos explaining how to get the API to work but still can’t get the plugin to load. I also keep getting pop-ups in Chrome saying the endpoint has expired. Any idea what I can do?

You must download the latest version of the plugin and install it. I know this for sure because that error message no longer exists in the latest version of the plugin. If you’re still getting it, it is because you’ve either not updated the plugin or you have a cache plugin in place that needs to be purged. Does this make sense?

I tried it now couple of times exactly like in the video tutorial, but the token is always declined as invalid when I try to use it in the plugin settings page and try to reload my page after it.
It’s working now, I missed to also change the user-id.

hello! All of the sudden it looks like all the sites I have this installed on are giving me the “this endpoint has been retired error”. They’re all pulling images from the specific user’s profile that matches the user I generated the api credentials with and were all working fine before. Great thanks! – one question do you need to have access to the facebook business account of the instagram profile you want to show in order for the access token process to work correctly? Let me know thanks!
In order to generate the token and userid, you need to have access to the instagram account. Otherwise people could steal other peoples data.

Hello! Thanks for all your help, so the i’m having a few issues: 1. The interface in your screenshots is differnt than what I see, it is similiar enough though that I believe I’m following your steps correctly. 2. When I go to generate the access token, the problem is it asks me to login with a facebook account. I only have access to my clients instagram account, so I’m wondering If I need to be logged in to a facebook account that can manage their instagram account in order for the steps in your tutorial to work? Or will it only work if I am logged in with the facebook business account attached to their instagram account?

I tried to contact you, probably through ‘wrong’ channels, I’ll try here. Price is great, nothing to complain about. However, it’s rather important for us to know, that you’re very nice plugin can present the ‘classic’ in only one row. Our website is not build to show a larger grid and before deciding which plugin to use, I just have to know whether it is possible to show only one row of Instagram-images and still present it ‘classic’ way – :o)

I had a client purchase your plugin to use on their site. It works great until they post a video post on IG… breaks the whole thing. Tried sending a support request but was denied as my account didn’t purchase the item. Tried video=true has no affect on any shortcode methods… up until the video post everything was wonderful.
