i am using the shortcode [yobro_chat_new_message] in my site. when click on button, it gives 3 popups before being able to send message. Is it possible to go to directly writing the message? So you dont have to click so many times before sending message to user?
And whanna add the [yobro_chat_notification] to header.

How to implement notifications?
I don’t understand why all message/chat plugin miss the notifications part. Makes no sense. Since user will never know when new message has bern received.
Hello, our plugin do have a notification system which is in-site notification. If you stay in the web page then you will get a unread message counter in the notification icon. Email notification is not a must have thing for every user so we kept it the way where if anyone need it they can implement it on their own.
Hello, is this working with BuddyPress..I mean syncing the old chats in the BuddyPress? And continues after that the chat using this plugin?
sorry, this plugin doesn’t use the buddypress chat. It integrate its own chat which support buddypress user.

We haven’t tried it with dokan yet. But it should work. There might be some broken style.

You can work with any wordpress user. You don’t need buddypress.

No, You don’t need any monthly subscription to any third party service.

1. No this doesn’t require BuddyPress. 2. Any solution rather than external service will lose its performance in WordPress with such a number of users. If you have 70K user then your message will be millions within a few weeks.
Hi, please I have some questions about your plugin.
I have a listing ads website and I’d to have private chat service to put ad author and the registered visitor in contact.
Please could you check if I your plugn can attend my needings?
1) Only registered users can use the chat.
2) In ad page would have a button like “chat with author”. This button opens a private chat between listing author and registered visitor. Even the author is not online, the visitor can leave a message.
3) Is possible to each user have a list of all private chats initialized por ele? The same for author users – in his dashboard page a shortcode to list all chats he has. Marking chats answered or not.
4) Does the plugin send notifications when a new chat is initialized or answered?

1) Suppose there are 2 user roles on the site. One is “Manager” and Second is “Worker” I want the Manager role users can’t directly message any of the users belonging to the Worker role. If any user from Worker role messages then only users belonging to the Manager role will respond.
In short, any users of the “Manager” role will not initiate the chat.

Yes we have a shortcode which will show total unseen message counter on an icon. So you can put it in your user profile page template.

Sorry our plugin doesn’t use the buddypress notification system. Our plugin works on its own notification system.

Well, based on roles. We are using buddypress for extranet. Clients can send private message to us but not to other clients. With our buddypress setting, clients are not visible to each other, but I don’t know how is your integration and whether they would show inside that modal that opens with usernames. Also, we use display names, not the username, will that work?
Sorry that specific settings not available. But you can create chatbox depending on different user role.
But they can see other clients’ names when they want to send private message to others, correct??
It will be a simple chatbox with users of same role. Now you can exclude that shortcode from other users.

Hello, I am not totally sure about your query. But if you want to create a chatbox where certain to of people can only send message among group members you can do that. Our plugin doesn’t have group conversation support. Only single message support. A non member of the group can’t send message. And the group must have to identified by metakye.
