Hi I have 2 pre purchase question:
1. If I have 100 movies already stored on a VPS server how can I add that movies on your system.
I have to install this script on the same vps server where the movies are already stored.
2. It is possible to block the access to the site via browser, so user access the script from a mobile app only? (is not mandatory but do you have an idea about this, will appreciate your suggestions)

1. You’d need to either do it manually or create some custom script that converts your data to the format MTDb can understand.
2. There’s no such functionality built-in, but you could do it with some custom modifications.

With your help I think i can apply both solutions. I dont want to reupload all the movies again using the admin panel. Would take too much time.

This is outside the scope for our support, but you could look into the database for mtdb and for your other app and see how data is stored on both.

You can upload them in any way you prefer and then enter url to video from MTDb instead of uploading via MTDb itself.

For blob you’d need some custom modifications most likely, it depends on the specific implementation of blobs.

There’s no built in way to do it unfortunately, as there’s no way to know for MTDb in what format the data was stored previosuly.
I am interested in buying, but some features could be thought of being added, thinking of the people who will charge subscription, In the Seasons area where it displays some numbers regarding the seasons, it could be a drop down menu, Another point, put evaluation time and after start charging, and when it is free access to show ads on the site and those who pay do not see, And finally, but control over the content, the type that subscribers of a certain plan do not have access to “X” list and so on. .. anyway, very good script, I hope you think about making an Android version.

Do you think is possible in the incoming versions of the script to add at the appearance of the script in the admin panel an area to modify the slider css and the header css ?
I hired a developer to do the changes via the source code but they are having some difficulties changing those areas of the script. They can see the changes in their local host but when they try to push it towards the server only few files compile but other ones not.

Hi, just a quick one – in the last week or so a lot of movie posters and images now give 404 errors (not all, but especially older movies). I know without downloading content locally we’re bound by TMDB’s setup, but is there an easier way to ‘reimport’ all titles again while still keeping original info already collected? Hi, I’ve waited a few weeks but unfortunately the site is still filled with 404 image links for most posters, actor profile images, extra image backgrounds and so on (most images pulled from tmdb, although not all).
Is there not a way to ‘reimport’ a movie? I don’t mind doing this manually, even though there’s a lot to work through (and had to do this the last time there was the big upgrade to Angular), but would like to keep additional info added to the titles so wouldn’t want to start again.

You can force an update from “admin > titles” page by importing by tmdb id.
It’s the first thing I tried (from the Import method) – it brings up the pre-filled Title page and reloads the original information, but still with the original image links as well, unfortunately.
Do you have the latest version of mtdb installed?
I don’t have the latest one, just the one from last year. It’s difficult because there isn’t an upgrade path, just to start again with the most recent files, so any customisations are lost and need to be cherry-picked out and added later.
(And I did much prefer the PHP version to the Angular version—like the other commenter said our website visits are also close to nothing now since the change, which is a shame, so it’s just to keep it ticking over – but all the broken links doesn’t give a great impression).

Previous versions would not force an update when importing by tmdb id from “admin > titles” page so you’ll need the latest version.
