The latest update unfortunately took my website down. The administration of TM Extra Options was broken, so I tried to install the important update of WooCommerce but then it broke absolutely. Now it seems that I have to delete the whole web and upload a backup. :((( I would highly apreciate if it was possible to update automatically in WP administration as any other plugin.
I’m not sure what you mean that the took my website down. That isn’t really possible. The administration of the plugin was broken isn’t really a helpful description, what was broken exactly? Honestly, these all sound like a cache issue. You should have just cleared your cache.
Updating the plugin from the plugins page like any other plugin is possible once you register the plugin.

Well when I entered any existing Global options, the buttons like Plus, Edit etc. were under each other, instead of in a row. And the graphics for Radio buttons etc. disappered and there was just like a rectangle instead. Unfortunately I didn´t take a Print Screen. But I knew this is not what I wanted so I updated WooCommerce to see if it helps and since then I get a fatal error. 
You totally described the caching issue.
I managed to get back to the phase where the plugin update was only “disintegrated” so its time to clear the cache but could I just ask you which cache you mean? Browser or WP? Could you please just guide me a bit how to clear the right cache? I very much like the plugin but I must get my website to work on its new version sooner or later I guess.

Variation and attributes are what you create with WooCommerce, not the plugin. The plugin creates addons to the product.
Hi, I have a pre-sale question. I’m looking at purchasing this plugin, but wanted to check whether some specific functionality exists before doing so. The functionality I am looking for is to be able to set quantities on the extra variations and as these variations are purchased the available quantities to be reduced inline with what has been sold. An example of how this would look is:
- Product A
- -colour Red – total available 15
- -colour Blue – - total available 10

1. Compatible in what way exactly? The demo site for example is a multisite.
2. We cannot know beforehand, but if they don’t change how variation works and their native hooks and filters then it should be.
3. There is a styled variation feature but that is for each product specifically, there isn’t any global configuration of attributes. The plugin’s main purpose is to create addons to the products not alter how native variations look.
4. As per Envato license rules, one license per site is required.

No, the options can’t have price breaks like that. The calendar in that form is pop up only.
ok and just one more question. Is it possible to base the price of the product only from the options set with this plugin? maybe have the product price on $0 or hidden and the price will be defiend by the extra options
You will have to set the product price to zero for that or use the override price setting.
and also, about date field type, can it be a date range?
No, the date field selects a single date.

The latest update has the fix for that. You can just delete the plugin from the dashboard and install the new version. You won’t loose any settings.

Hello, which MySQL database table contains all the product options data ? I have exported / imported products which have all the meta data but I now need the main options exporting / importing.
We cannot answer that I’m afraid since (according to WooCommerce) we are not supposed to know.
The plugin saved the data to the product meta data (wherever WooCommerce stores that) when you create them directly in the product, and to the custom post meta table of WordPress when you create global options. This is all done with native WordPress or WooCommerce functionality, not custom database tables are used.
Ahh I see thats annoying. Is there no quick way to export / import global forms ? I try it export / import from each one but it doesn’t do anything.
You can use the plugin’s import/export csv feature. It does require specific server functionality to be available though (which any server should have).
Ye when I try to import a CSV file thats been exported it just refreshes and shows me nothing, no error message or anything updated.
That isn’t normal and unless this comes from the server we would need to troubleshoot it.
So I updated the plugin and got it to import, although it doesn’t look the same when imported in terms of layout. I have checked all my products and the global form has not been selected, probably because they never existed as I only added them after the product import. When I export product data I dump everything about them, meta data and custom fields etc. All products use a global form only, there is no product specific forms. Will the product export contain which global form to select ? I could try re run the import but if I know which field this is then I can get it to update that only.
No, it won’t. Depending on how you configured the global forms and if the site you exported has is the same as the one you imported you may have to redo the assignment. For example, if you set a form to apply on a specific product category that doesn’t exist on the new site, obviously you would have to redo the assignment.
Oh don’t say this as I have over 2k products. We setup 7 global forms in the backend and used an import file to create teh products and assign them to the global forms. We used tm_meta_cpf and global_forms using serialized data such as a:1:{i:0;s:4:”3650”;}, I think I will rerun the imports as if I was able to do it this way then surly it will work again. I am not sure if you’re aware of this method but it def works.
I’m not sure why you are dealing with the meta properties. As I told you if the IDs on the categories and products are the same you shouldn’t have to change anything. If they are not, then of course you would have to.
We have never set global forms to work on categories. Products have always been added via a import file due to the amount of products. We found the only way to assign a global form to a product was to use the above method. Global forms were setup in the backend and we used their ID in our import file. Having checked the new site the IDs a way out, I wanted to export data piece by piece but this is causing issues like IDs not matching up now.
To assign a global form to specific product you either use the products meta box on the global form or when you edit the product you select it from the “Include additional Global forms” setting. In either of those two cases if the IDs are not different you shouldn’t have to change anything.
Note that for the last method you can assign specific global forms in bulk to product while you are on the product list screen by using the bulk actions dropdown.
I have read all 359 pages of this comment section and I am convinced that if I should ever have an issue with the plugin, I am gonna get the best support. with is why I am buying this plugin when I need to create a product form next.

I’m updating your plugin for a client and they have an active license in the plugin’s settings. But when I try to update from 5.0.11 to 5.0.12 I get this error:

In English: Error! Envato API error. So it looks like the update package isn’t correctly available on the Envato servers. Can you please check?
If they have register correctly with a valid Envato token you will have to do a manual update this time please.
Yes it worked before, so why not this time? If this is a special update that needs removal of the old version first, then something should be in the changelog about it.
The thing that changed is that Envato response from checking the token. Apparently, is doesn’t contain the same response format as before.
And you are going to fix it, so it will work again for the next version?
The new version 5.0.12 has that fix.

Can I just go to the folder of /wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-tm-extra-product-options and replace all the files/folders with those in the updated version?

Do you know if there’s an easy way to hide one of the three options built with your plugin (the first option – “Senza installazione 0,00 €”) if the user chooses the second product’s variation (which is “Prezzo GOLD”)?
I see I can make a conditional logic but only among the TM Extra Product Options, in this case it would be a conditional logic if I choose a variation, I get only 2 of the 3 product extra options.

No, you cannot hide choices I’m afraid.

Hi there, are you aware of any incompatibility between your latest version and the latest version of the Porto theme. I can not make it work. The extra product options do not appear on the frontend.
It is not a plugin conflict… Tried disabling everything except woocommerce and your plugin.
With the Twenty Twenty theme everything works fine.
With Porto I have only managed to display the options on the frontend, if I disable “Use progressive display on options”. But even then, it does not work right. Selecting an option, does not update prices.
There are no errors in the console.
There is a know incompatibility with the Porto theme with their “Show skeleton screens” setting. The plugin cannot support that mode.
I wish I could review 5 stars for a second time! Your level of support is out of this world!

Hello, it seems like the upload (image) function is not working on my site (e.g. https://bypeet.insideweb.dev/product/kerstbal-met-foto/). After uploading and adding to cart, I don’t see the uploaded image anywhere else. Also the uploads folder extra_product_options isn’t created in my “uploads” folder.
The upload cannot work with ajax add to cart. You will have to disable it I’m afraid.

Can I capture or get the total amount of the product and use that info to display that in other field, I mean, if there is a way to get that final price and use it as a shortcode?
Use the final price as a shortcode? No, there isn’t anything like that. There cannot be actually. Shortcodes are created in PHP side and what you describe can only be in the client side.
