Submit button of your form is not a trigger to the plugin’s functionality, that’s why you need to slightly change the plugin’s code:
on the line 128 in the file form-generating-pdf/public/js/mainscript.js
you’ll see :

Change that to :
$(‘body’).on(‘click’, ‘input[type=”submit”],button[type=”submit”], .super-button-wrap’, function(event){
Clear out your cache, refresh and see if that’s working.

We will definitely work on it, I already talk to colleagues about it, so this will definitely come out, but as an independent product, it will be a separate add-on that can be installed alongside the plugin, so that this plugin can get more attention. is it compatible with the arForms plugin?
We haven’t tested it with that plugin, but that doesn’t prevent it from working, as said on the description it can work with any form builder because it does its job separately.

Tested for PHP 5.4.* and above, but it may work for lower.
I made a lot of improvements on 3.6.1, gathered all the issues that buyers had for the last 2 years, and made a version that resolve all that, some settings were deleted and some were added, so you need to work on the project locally and adopt the same settings that are on the production site, when transfering you need to delete old settings from your production site, and use the new ones.
Getting tons of errors trying to make this work. I also think the documentation is out of date, so I’m really stuck. The plugin looks different than what I see in the doc. I sent an email and hoping you can help resolve it so the plugin is usable.
The plugin has been updated the version 3.6.2 has some issues due to an unintentional mistake.
The version 3.6.2 has the updated docs and the corrected error.
Same result with 3.6.2, please see the ticket provided yesterday as the exact same errors exist.
Now that you installed the version 3.6.2 clear your cache both on the admin and the user area.
You’re gonna need to use the data scraping method as your server doesn’t allow the plugin to take data automatically, if you get these warnings just ignore them they will disappear once you set up the project, so you need to activate the button “scrape data” and go to the page where your form is and choose the form you’re working on.
Please follow the manual docs it has everything you need to do to configure the plugin.

Hi, I have updated the version but all the forms that I had created have been deleted. Also, I don’t receive emails. This message appears in the Users Entries:
“Please set the correct input that holds the email address of users, in order for users to get the email with the attachment.
The user information “280” does not correspond to an email, you most probably didn’t set the correct input that holds the email address of users.”
But I haven’t set up which user should receive the message
Did you set the email to go to users or admin or both ?

Then you should see that you can dowload the PDF version of the form submission on Users Entries options page.

You should get then an email sent to the admin email that you set on the page options, if not then check your spam folder.

The plugin size is 20mb because it has a lot of fonts files and that takes some space, so all you need to do is either increase the php.ini configuration upload_max_filesize, or add the extracted folder from the zip file form-generating-pdf.zip, to the wp-content/plugin via your FTP or file manager on your cpanel.
my max upload file size is 50M so it cant be it!!!
Then try increasing max_execution_time .

Sorry I didn’t understand anything. I simply ask, if in a month you release new version i will need to re-install all projects or will they keep in save? Regular plugins receive updates directly to WordPress yours i need to delete and install new one does the new version fix it?

Hi I have a question with the new signature box does this mean someone can sign the pdf after it has been emailed or does the signature have to come from the form before it is converted to a pdf
The signature field can be also shipped with PDF, the signature must be created with your form builder before that you can send the PDF version of your form.

What about a website having many Custom Post Types and listings like a Car Dealer or Real Estate site that needs a form generating only certain fields and Custom Taxonomies and Custom Fields that need printing. Does this plugin do this???

Can you provide me with some more details about the subject ? In anyway the plugin can print out your selected form fields and chip the PDF version of the form to users and admin, I think definitely Form Generating PDF will help you out with your project.

It seems that your server doesn’t allow the plugin to scrape data from the wordpress site pages. Try defining the input types manually by checking the alternative method.
Another version 3.6.1 will be released to get rid of all this workarounds soon.
