Absolutely shocking that you declined the refund you promised on the grounds you do not know if we are still using your plugin which took down our website twice during a live show to over 500 people. Very disappointing.
Sorry but we provided the solution of your problem on email. The contact person from our staff declined based on the conversation history which suggested that the issue was resolved. You just have to use cache option on Recent live and Uploaded videos embed codes and set the cache duration to 60+ minutes.
This will significantly reduce the number of requests being sent to Facebook API. Fetching Recent live and uploaded videos is an expensive operation. If you keep the cache disabled for them, they will load fresh every time a visitor opens the page. This can cause the Facebook app to reach its request limit. The cache option in the embed code configuration is for the exact same purpose.
As advised, the charity had already moved on and purchased a simpler problem free solution. We do not have the luxury of having crash after crash and waiting around for random “solutions” time and time again. I’ve been on envato nearly 10 years and this experience i can tell you is poor.
In the latest update we have fixed all related issues. The number of API requests now no longer depends on the number of visitors. You can have thousands of visitors without any problem. Sorry for the experience, you can use the license on some other website but please make sure to use the latest version of the plugin.

Have been using this plugin for a while now and have never had an issue up until recently. I noticed today that when we were showing a live service on our facebook page that the place on our site where it is pushed normally read “Error loading: (#4) Application request limit reached”. Any insight on why this was happening and how I can make sure it doesn’t happen again? Thanks!

I have purchased this plugin and no video is displayed on my page. I sent you a private message 5 days ago and still no reply!!!
I followed all the steps on the documentation and plugin is not working. It is not loading any videos from the facebook page i have linked to as the videos goes live.
Another issue I have is that previous videos are listed as links and not as thumbnails or error messages appear on the page itself

I did more testing with yesterday’s live stream. All was good using the Chrome browser on Android phone however, the Samsung Internet Browser App Version 11.0.01.11 did not work. It flashed like the video was going to load then the screen went “white”. During today’s live stream I will test on iPhone with other browsers.

How can I center the videos on the page? As I post the shortcodes, I try to center it in the editor but it doesn’t center it.

These styling changes can be done using CSS. The class “fb-video” can be used to apply CSS. You may need little help of a developer to achieve this. If you just want to have one video in a row, center aligned then following CSS may be used in your theme: .fb-video { display: block !important; text-align: center; }
Margins can be applied to same class in order to achieve the desired spacing.

How long does it take for the Facebook live video to show on a WordPress page? For instance, if we have a live event at 10 am and folks go to our website 5 minutes early will they automatically see the video when we go live or will they have to hit the refresh button on their browser?

It takes up to 40 seconds for the stream to appear on the website once it has been started. Yes the user will have to refresh the page. Or you can also use Site Wide Notification which is AJAX based and appears automatically. You can link it to the page where you are displaying the live video.

secondly i have a church running sunday services and we would like everytime they go for this to automatically show on the website without any manual intervention. At the moment we have to manually copy the iframe code and paste it onto the website.

Hi, so we went live today 
Website went down we had to delete the plugin. Called GoDaddy they advised the plugin was generating PHP errors.
Error Message “Resource Limit is Reached. The website is temporarily unable to service your request.” Once we deleted the plugin the live feed continued as normal.

What is the App Review process for this plugin now. The documentation is outdated as Facebook now forces you to add permissions and features to move ahead with the App Review process. Please advise?

We are going to update documentation with the new update which will be available by early next month but the current documentation is still valid. You can just ignore new options and settings. There is no need to go through App Review process because this Facebook app is only going to be used by owner/administrator of the app. Please follow the documentation and you will be good.

What you are suggesting does not work.
Invalid Scopes: user_videos. This message is only shown to developers. Users of your app will ignore these permissions if present. Please read the documentation for valid permissions at: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/facebook-login/permissions
That is the error that shows up.
Are you using the latest version of the plugin? Because this was fixed in some previous update. The plugin is currently working on 800+ websites. We have solutions for every problem you are encountering. You need to send us an item support email for that; we may also need WP Admin access.

The new update will be out early in the new year. It will have new features but not this one.

Hello how are you, My question is whether there will be a way that by putting Recent Live Videos (3), they can have space between them ?, since they are shown stuck one followed by the other. I would like it to be Video-Space-Video-Space-Video
