I want to put various stores, businesses, restaurants on map. I will use openstreet map. Is it possible that based on user’s location the nearby listing will be shown? basically I want user to search using his own location

Yes, that is possible with Sabai Directory, however Sabai Directory uses Google Maps and simply overlays the map tiles from OpenStreetMap. If you do not wish to use Google Maps, please consider our another directory plugin Directories Pro.
Hi, I’ve tried and I can’t seem to find it how to edit fields. My form allows users to add links to social media channels. One of them is Google+ which I need to remove and add a link to Instagram instead.. I cannot see that option under Fields -> Manage Form.

Unfortunately that is not possible with the default Social Accounts field. You can try using the custom field version of the Socail Accounts field instead.
Not sure I explained it properly. I already have 3 social media links in listings (Facebook, Twitter, Google+). Now I need to remove Google + and add Instagram Instead. The only option I can see is to delete all 3 fields (Facebook, Twitter and Google+) and create a new set of links (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram). This however means that all existing Facebook and Twitter links will be deleted. How can I delete the Google+ field?
Hi – I just purchased this plugin and so far it is great. A couple questions:
- Can I customize the /dashboard page with some content, like a title or some into text?
- Can I change the blue search (magnifying glass) button to a different color?
- Can I completely remove the “filter” button. I don’t want visitors to see anything to do with ratings or anything like that.
- I added a couple listings and was able to see them on the main /dashboard page and for some reason, it is now showing zero listings yet I can see them in the backend. Any thought why they would disappear?

HI – I figured two of these:
- I can now see the listings on the /dashboard page (it was a setting)
- I was able to figure out how to remove the “filter” button so we can hide ratings, etc.

Hi – I have to present this to my boss tomorrow so hoping to get an answer soon on my questions.
I was able to figure out how to change the color of the blue search button from blue to a customer color but it still turns blue when you hover. Can you tell me how to change this CSS to not have it be blue on hover:

You can assign your custom CSS using the following CSS selector:

You can remove all filters from Directory -> Listings -> Manage Fields -> Manage Filters then the filter button should be hidden.
hi onokazu, I noticed when testing my site with gtmetrix a sort of bottleneck produced by sabai. in depth the gtmetrix says the following queries are slowing down the whole loading:

Unfortunately that is not possible.
Noticed there’s an issue where the directory page doesn’t abide by the defined Appearance > Menu > Navigation Label.
Seems that this was reported four years ago here (https://codecanyon.net/item/sabai-directory-plugin-for-wordpress/4505485/comments?page=298&filter=all#comment_13260498) and reported as fixed in 1.3.30.
Two years ago there was another report of this here (https://codecanyon.net/item/sabai-directory-plugin-for-wordpress/4505485/comments?page=386&filter=all#comment_19595090), saying that it was actually not fixed, and the only resolution is to change the title of the page being used for the directory index.
Could you please provide some light as to what exactly is the status of this issue? I’m up to date at 1.4.8. Is it still the only workaround to just change the page title?

Just a heads up, it looks like the Location icon on the listing page doesn’t load anymore. It just shows an empty square in the section above the phone, email, and globe icons.

Question:
1. Is there a way that we can have 2 categories that can be filtered simultaneously? What we are trying to accomplish is the following:
A) Each listing has an associated geographic location (not address, just city name). We have the listings that can be currently sorted by clicking a city category.
Sort by DEPARTMENT, so that a user could select a city, and department and view all listings.

The OSM feature of Sabai Directory simply displays OSM map tiles over Google Maps and still requires Google Maps API.

Your copy for this plugin encourages people to get Directories Pro, which would be an excellent option for me, but Sabai Directory allows users to utilize PayPal subscriptions for auto renewal, correct?
Directories Pro requires WooCommerce for subscriptions which costs $199 USD per year. Is there a reason why Directories Pro doesn’t allow users to utilize PayPal without incurring the WooCommerce $199 USD annual fee? As I’m comparing your database plugins with Directory Pro and Web 2.0, both of which allow users to go directly with PayPal, avoiding the $199 USD per year WooCommerce fee (and I think there’s another $79 USD per year charge for their PayPal gateway, which I assume is necessary to use PayPal). Whether its a total of $278 USD or $199 USD per year, that would be a significant portion of the revenue for my very modest directory. I would assume that I’m not alone in that situation.

When I import my listings with a CSV file the listings with a two word category don’t get the category assigned even though I selected that filed as the category via the listing import dashboard. Only the one word categories get assigned a category. Is there a way to bulk assign categories to multiple listings? Thanks.
