Hi is there renewed information on how to get this plugin working? i have tried following the advice in other comments but i’m getting quite lost as i’m not familiar with facebook’s app publishing process.

I enabled WP debugging and when I went to a WP Dashboard >Tiva Facebook Events, an error shows:

Hi, Facebook tells me that Graph API v3.1 will be deprecated on Oct 27, 2020., and should be upgraded to version 8.
Can I do that ? I do not see how.
Apparently there will be one affected method : GET {page-id}/events
Description : Break manage_pages and publish_pages into six more granular permissions. No API behavior is changing but developers must use the new granular permissions.
What should I do ?

App review and verification by Facebook is complete, oAuth URL is entered, what am I missing?

When submitting my Facebook app for review, Facebook requires me to include a screencast showing how and why this plugin collects the data from my page. I have had my review request denied 3 times and can’t seem to get any direction on here about how to achieve this successfully. Has ANYONE managed to get this thing to work?

When I try to log in to Facebook via the app, I get the following message:
URL blocked: This redirect failed because the redirect URI is not white-listed in the app’s client OAuth settings. Make sure that the client and web OAuth logins are on and add all your app domains as valid OAuth redirect URIs.

Sorry, but we don’t understand your question. After you submit your app to Facebook (to get the permission: publish_pages, manage_pages), please use the settings of our plugin on admin (https://gyazo.com/8e51c5a85a9ede7299b54222cc2de12c ) to get your access token. After that, our plugin will call the Facebook API (with your accesss token) to get events from your page, then display them on the calendar.

Hi. The Facebook has changed their policy a few days ago. You need publish your app, and submit your app for review to get permission: publish_pages, manage_pages. You can refer here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/apps/review/

To do it, you need translate text on file wp-content/plugins/tiva-facebook-events-calendar/assets/js/calendar.js (Line 1 – 20)
If I’ve already created a Facebook App for another WordPress plugin (for pulling fb reviews), can I use that app again or do I need to create a separate one for this Events plugin to work? If a new one is needed, what settings should I select for the app? The documentation instructions from you are quite vague.
Hi. We think you should create new app. Because the app need have Facebook Login product (https://gyazo.com/e1670816c79ecd40fb87e3018323f265 ). You don’t need to care about the settings of the app, only need remember to set status of app In Development mode (as we have instructed on the documentation).
