Is there a way to hide the Dropshipper settings in the backend when dropshippers login? I don’t pay my dropshippers via paypal so it would be nice to hide this option all together.

There is no option to hide the Dropshipper settings in the Dropshipper’s dashboard, but if you have experience with coding it could be removed writing custom code in your theme or a custom plugin. You could also edit the plugin itself, but please note that any future update will restore the original functionality.

I installed the plugin and everything seems to work except when a Dropshipper logs into the dashboard, they cannot see their orders. The user is setup as a dropshipper. Is there nything else that needs to be enabled?

Did you check the error log on your server after loggin in as a Dropshipper? Also, do you have any kind of redirect mechanism, preventing non-admin users to go to their backend dashboard? Some WordPress themes don’t let custom user roles (such the Dropshipper) log in to their dashboard just because they are not Administrators or Editors.

The best approach to this would be to use a shipping class per vendor and set your calculation type to ‘Per class’. You can find this when you have added shipping classes in WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > Shipping classes. Then go to WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > Zone of your choice > Flat rate.

We watched the javascript console looking for the Network request made by our plugin when we assigned a dropshipper from the Bulk Assign page. It looks like that the dropshipper still gets correctly assigned to the products in the selected category, but the string returned from the server had a couple of “carriage returns” before the actual response from our plugin, which made our check go wrong and triggered the error you saw.
This problem can be caused mainly by mistakes made during the development of a WordPress template or plugin (usually a “carriage return” on top or bottom of a .php file or wild “carriage returns” in your functions.php ) or because of faulty hooks that gets in the line and write unwanted stuff.
If you look at the source page returned by any of your page in your backend you will also see those same “carriage returns” at the beginning of the page, right before the <!DOCTYPE html>.
Unfortunately this problem is not caused by our code and we cannot intervene, but we hope this will help you find your bug!

Is there a way to leave add private notes for drop shippers to see in their order list. I have a coffee subscription service. Subscribers sign up to a subscription product and receive 1 of 9 coffees each month. Is there away to include which coffee should be sent in the order list. Thanks

unfortunately there is no way to communicate with the Dropshippers within our plugin. Notes on the order can be added by the Dropshippers themselves in their order list. For now that might be the solution for your problem.

I just installed this plugin to what will be my live site. I previously had it installed on my development server (different url/site name)
When I log in as a “dropshipper” it does not show the dropshipper dashboard.
this works on my development server, but not on the new one. Is this because it thinks I’m trying to use too many licenses? I can’t find any other problem.

I can get into the dashboard as a user with the dropshipper role, but the dropshipper widget does not show up. I am not seeing any errors in the error log.

How would I check to see if the widget is disabled? I tried turning off every plugin except woocommerce, then turned off, deleted, and reinstalled your plugin and still had this problem. I’m sure the problem is on my side; just trying to figure out what I might have done to cause this! Also, I don’t do any direct editing of my functions.php or anything. I use a plugin for adding code, and I turned that plugin off to see if it was the problem, which it wasn’t.

Try to look in the top right corner of the Dropshipper’s dashboard. Dashboarrd widgets can be enabled and disabled from the option called “Screen Options”.

Suggestion for the next update: Please make it possible to update the “dropshipper price” in the default woocommerce order editor page. The Cost of Goods Sold plugin allows you to do this. My supplier sometimes gives me a price break for larger customers, so it would be nice to not have to go edit the product page, and instead do this on the order page.

I’m not sure I understand exactly what you’re asking for, but we do not add any kind of overriding mechanism to WooCommerce products or variations. Regular WooCommerce functionality remains intact.
