Just bought this and it works pretty well on my WordPress pages. One issue I’ve having… #dvGlobalMask is set at 100% width but doesn’t scale when the the video is up, and the window is re sized. As well, the video doesn’t float with the rescale. The position stays absolute. Also, what’s the best way to adjust the darkness of the overlay? I’m fairly new to JS. Any tips on how to fix this?

OK, one of my team members was able to get this working. He added some script tags at the beginning and end of the code and some text for a link. Questions 1) How do I get the circle with the in it X that closes the window to appear? 2) The YouTube popup on my site doesn’t have a drop shadow. How do I get that working? 3) The background doesn’t darken any. How so I achieve that?

OK, I purchased and downloaded it.

I put the js files in my Drupal theme’s JS folder and the CSS in the theme’s CSS folder (I put the images in the CSS folder, as well).

In my Drupal 6 theme’s info file I added: scripts[] = js/videopopup.js

I then created a page in Drupal to test it. I added the following code using the plain text editor and the input type set to PHP : $(document).ready(function(){ $(”.video1”).videopopup({ ‘videoid’ : ‘ZAX550biM7c’, ‘videoplayer’ : ‘youtube’, // options – youtube or vimeo ‘autoplay’ : ‘true’// options – true or false }); });

I changed the YouTube ID to one of my existing videos.

I read on Drupal.org that Drupal doesn’t always recognize the $ in jQuery. It suggests surrounding it with this: ( function($) { .. your script here })( jQuery );

I put this at the beginning and end of the code I pasted in the Drupal page.

I flushed all my caches.

For some reason this isn’t working.

Do you have any instructions on how to get this to work with Drupal 6? I’m particularly interested in having thumbnail images of my videos appear in my stream of news which is handled by the Views module.

I have your youtube/vimeo popup working but when clicked to page scrolls to the top and the video is playing below the fold. Please help.

I am trying to use this with Wordpress jquery.js and haven’t been able to figure it out. It seems that Wordpress uses jquer.js with jQuery.noConflict(); . The plugin only works when I remove this last section.

Any ideas how this plugin can work with noConflict? What I’m I missing?

Thankx the plugin is just awesome, the problem was I had too many scripts making too many http requests, I grouped them all into one and compressed it and now it’s ok, nothing wrong with the plugin, sorry.

Unfortunately the video is not playing smoothly. I thought it was an encoding problem but the clip it works perfectly on Vimeo site, there’s something with the plugin… any ideas? Thankx http://snowboardcamp.mah.lu/

I bought the plugin and it seems to be working fine. However the link on my page that will popup the video is at the bottom of the page. When I click on the popup link, it works but scrolls up to the top of the page. When I scroll down the video is there and playing where it is supposed to be. However, it shouldn’t be forcing me to the top of the page. How do I fix? Is it in the videopopup.js?

I’m experiencing the same problem, probably everyone that uses the script.

It has been brought up before and no fix has been provided, I rated it a 1 star, if I could add a real negative rating I would have.

Poor coding as well by not using implementing best practices for CSS , the current CSS will override your CSS styles.

Overrode the styles in my website. Very bad.
