I am experiencing frequent Gateway Timeout errors in the WordPress dashboard. I contact my host, who show that it is not a server error but instead a software error. Looking at my error logs, I see the following error occurring incredibly frequently: “PHP Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent in /home/stevehoo/public_html/wp-content/plugins/motopress-hotel-booking/includes/libraries/wp-session-manager/class-wp-session.php on line 127”. Hi, 1) Yes, it is possible to sync bookings with Google calendar with iCal. 2) The MotoPress Hotel Booking plugin is compatible with any theme created according to the WordPress standards. It uses the single post template of the active theme for accommodation type pages and standard CSS classes to pick up the styles of the active theme. Hotel Booking will not redesign your site. 3) Hotel Booking is a separate plugin with its own functionality, it is not the part of WooCommerce. It can interact with WooCommerce only if you want to connect a custom payment gateway that is not inbuilt in Hotel Booking. For this you will need WooCommerce, our WooCommerce integration (purchased separately) and a WooCommerce addon for your custom payment gateway. 4)You can add an option to book dinners as services (Accommodation tab > Services).
Hey. Just a pre-sale question: In my region in France there is a tourist tax for adults per night. Not for minors (children). Is that option possible in future releases you think? Now it is only per person, accommodation per night. Since the fileds adults and children exist, it might not be a big issue to add this option in future releases? With variable pricing there is a quite complex alternative, but it would be much easier when this option is available in the future? Thanks, Rene
Hi Rene, Thanks for your question however we have not received the requests like this before. At the moment you may include this Tax to the price of the property not to add it as tax separately and notify about this somewhere on page of the property or at checkout page. Thanks

I can send you a mail stating the official reglementation of the ‘Office du taxe de sejour du Minervois au Caroux’ in France if you want. I really don’t want to criticise your plugin, because it looks really great, but rather offering a way to make it more ‘complete’. The fields ‘adults’ and ‘children’ already exist and are in use, so it’s only a matter of taking only one of those fields (instead the sum of two) to multiply with the nights. Thank you for your reply. We do believe you and we are sorry it looked like we doubted in the information you provided. We just wished to explain why the option you request is not still available in plugin. However plugin allows to set a Tax type with fixed amount (not percentage) for adults and for children separately.
OK, super, thanks! I was worried because in the manual I only saw a percentage and fixed amount per room and per guest, Not adults and children seperately. Can’t wait to get started in november;-)

using Divi and NO there are ZERO plugins installed, except for this and the Divi extension
Hi, please, make sure your accommodation type has:
1) available physical accommodations in Accommodation > Accommodations;
2) a pricing season for the searched dates (Accommodation > Seasons);
3) an assigned rate for the searched dates (Accommodation > Rates).
If one of these three is not set up, then the plugin does not know the renting period.

Pre_Sales Questions: I am setting up an HOA website and there are over 300 homeowners. Is there a way to setup a Membership or Custom Login so each homeowner can use one site to Book rentals.
There would be say 150 Homeowners with 150 different properties to rent out…..We are not concerned with paypment gateways but rather that each homeowner can login to their Profile and be able to Upload the Rental information or have that renter “book” their property and have that information relayed to the guards’ emails upon confirmation.
1 website, 300 members and say 150 different properties to rent from 150 different individuals. When they wanted to view their “individual” rental history that data would be sorted by property owner?

Hi, you can use the plugin to rent out properties of different owners and you can give them the access to the admin dashboard, but note that our plugin does not have accounts for different owners for their separate properties. The back-end dashboard will be shared among all owners if you want to give them back-end access. I mean, a property booking will be shown to all the owners.
The owner accounts are on our feature request list and we can notify you when it gets implemented.

You can rent out properties of different owners with the Hotel Booking plugin by giving them access to the admin dashboard. However, within the Hotel Booking plugin there are no accounts for different owners with their separate accommodation types.If you provide the owners with the back-end access, the back-end dashboard will be shared among all of them.

we already have the availability calendar for a certain accommodation type, that (calendar) is displayed with the shortcode [mphb_availability_calendar id=”999” monthstoshow=”2,3”] where 999 is your accommodation type ID. More parameters for this shortcode you can find under your dashboard > Accommodation > Shortcodes.

You may indicate Check In time as 9am and Check out time as 6pm and then hide Checkout fields from search form. Thus your visitors will be able to select only day of check-in and see the Check-in and Check-out hours they booked the property for.

No, hourly bookings are not supported in this booking plugin. We considered you rent a out property for whole day from 9am to 6pm. The minimum period that can be booked is one night only.

It is possible in this way: you can specify check-in and check-out time in the plugin’s settings and hide the check-out field from search form. So, a guest will only be able to select a check-in day and see the check-in and check-out hours they booked the property for.

Yes, the check out date is required and only you as admin knows about it. You will need to hide everything about Check Out date from the front-end and email notifications.

I’m hoping to make the following changes. Can you please advise how best to accomplish each of these:
1. Right now, when visiting the page for an accommodation, it shows “Prices start at $x for x nights” because we have a minimum stay set. I would instead like this area to show an average nightly rate instead. How can accomplish that while maintaining the minimum stay setting?
2. In the price breakdown, I would like to get rid of the listing for each individual day and instead show the nightly price times the number of days and then a total. In other words, there will only be one entry in this section instead of one per day.
3. My client gives the option on his VRBO listings to either pay a $79 fee for damage insurance OR a $500 refundable damage deposit. He would like to also offer this on the WordPress site. I know how to add fees, but how can I give the option between two fees and only apply the one the customer selects?
4. The accommodation taxes and fee taxes are currently two categories in the price breakdown. I would like them to be one category, simply labelled “Taxes” so it doesn’t appear that customers are being double taxed.

1. There is not option to edit the output of price when booking rule of minimum stay is enabled.
2. and 4. It is possible to hide unnecessary rows using CSS
3. You may add more than 1 Rate for each property for guest to select on the checkout page. The rate will display Title and description so you may describe difference between rates for your guests.

ah ok so its just currency converter.. not multi currency booking engine that can accept booking in different currency different rate
It helps the visitors to see the prices in their currency however the payment is made using the main currency that is configured on the website.

The current plugin allows to import/export the bookings to external platforms in iCal format. You do not need additional plugins to sync your site with other platforms like airbnb that support iCal synchronization.
Currently there only 4 platform so any plan to add more or can you do customization to add more?
You may import bookings from unlimited amount of external platforms which support import/export in ical format.
Im not familiar with ical format, can you give any link for references about it? And maybe example list of all platform provide that features other than what you put on your plugin description?
Our customers used to sync calendars with Airbnb, VRBO, Expedia, HomeAway, BookingCom(for some cases), TripAdvisror and others. Sometimes any OTA update the rules of synchronization so we recommend to refer to their documentation to learn if they support import export in iCalendar format.
