I have search manager installed In my site, but I am not seeing the searches recorded as indicated in the documentation. What do I do so that it records the searches and I can look at them in reports?

Hello. Post_type product exists in the code. I have done some code addition though to fix the problem. In line 167 of class-wcstm-lite-search-filters.php i added the following code “OR ({$wpdb->posts}.post_title LIKE ‘ {$query->get(’s’)} ’ AND {$wpdb->posts}.post_status = ‘publish’ AND {$wpdb->posts}.post_type=’product’)” so it search for the title as well. I just didnt make a new function and added it in the excerpt checkbox/function. You can add this to your next update properly with its own checkbox.
After that it can search for 3+ words titles and for words in the middle of the title as well. thank you for your time.

Okay. Thank you. This is what is happening now. If I write the SKU number and click enter is giving me the “nothing found” message. Also, If I write the SKU number and wait 2 or 3 seconds the item will come up underneath but when I click or hit enter I got the “nothing found” message as well. We need to be able to write the name or SKU of the product and click enter to find it.

For the plugin to work the way you want, you need to display a search widget for products instead of search shortcodes. Now you have a widget for regular search, not for products.

Thank you for your response. But if I use the “Product Search” widget do the same thing:
Does not pull up the product if you type the product name or SKU and hit search. The suggestions pop up take some time and if someone were to SKU or name of the product without paying attention to the suggestions, it would be appear we did not sell the item because display a “Sorry, nothing found” message.
Maybe I got the wrong plugin. This plugin is good to search products? or only for “Recent Search Terms, Popular search terms and search terms cloud.

2) Only plugins which have compatibility with our plugin can work correct. There are these plugins: ‘Recent Search Terms’, ‘Popular Search Terms’, ‘Search Terms Cloud’.

First of all: great plugin!
I would like the category homepage (for example the category “chairs”) to appear first in the dropdown search box. So in the WooCommerce Search tab I checked “enable search by category” but this only keeps showing me all the products within the category. Can this be done or what am I doing wrong?

I just bought and installed your Search Manager plugin. I wanted to get a plugin that will integrate with wordpress search and will pick up tags from WooCommerce tags.
I have enabled all the obvious settings but when I try and search for a tag it comes back with no results. The site is in construction but online.

What I am trying to do is saving keywords that are entered on the website in the search field (advanced-woo-search) like in your plug-in and send them to a specific URL.
I bought your plugin, but I do not like the search function and I do not like it either. It is all based on the wordpress search fom/function and that is very basic.
That is why I hoped that i could use your plugin for the term and redirect function in some way in combination with advanced-woo-search.
Is this possible? Or maybe you can make this possible? (you can give me an estimation?)
I really only need the functionality you use of saving/adding keywords, forwarding, report etc

Yes, it is more clear. We can make it compatible with normal version of the search from AWS but not for AJAX, it is not clear how it should work with AJAX.

seems there is a bug in pro version. when im in draft post and adding tags, the tag dont auto appear as i type. when i disable the plugin..it works. also free version dont have a problem..only the pro version. what will be the cause?!

its quite ok, i can still resolve it by temporary deactivating the plugin. is it possible to disable search terms?! im having 1000 search terms per day and hard to manage it. or have a one click button that deletes all or resets it?! also the report page..

I wonder if is there any snippet or fix to exclude results from search autocomplete. I’m working on a website http://ww2.asegrup.net This site is for a insurance company and the search box shows the CPT “Seguro” (insurance) and Pages. But I would like to exclude some insurance and some page.

I have bought your plugin and it works fine! I have a question… is it possible to set a priority in autocomplete? For example if i type “ams” i get “Ouder-Amstel” above “Amsterdam”. But i would like to have “amsterdam” first. Is that possible?
