Hello, i just bought the countdown but when i add the end time to 1739523600000 (14 of february at 10am ) it shows the wrong result: 57813 days 25 hours 30 minutes 8 seconds… what’s the problem? thanks!

Thank you for your reply. Even if you add the date with 11 digits it doesn’t work. The result is: 0 days 0 hours 0 minutes 0 seconds. What is the correct end time to indicate February 14, 2025 at 10:00:00?

Hello, It appears to be a bug. Please add parameter as a temporary fix:

now: $.now() / 1000

So your code should look like: $(’#countdown’).redCountdown({ preset: “flat-colors-fat”, end: 1739610000, now: $.now() / 1000);

We are working on the fix, new version should be available soon.

Hello, i just bought the countdown but when i add the end time to 1614103200 ( 23 of february at 6pm ) it shows 0 0 0 0 what can i do? thanks!

Hello, you need to enter end time in miliseconds, not seconds (1614103200000).

We are looking to add a countdown that is unique for each visitors and that doesn’t get refreshed when they close and revisit the page. If we set it to for example 5 minutes, we want the countdown to start for each unique visitors at 5 minutes and then call a function when it expires.

Will this be able to do that?

Hello there can i have only seconds as also how to increase and decrease the time. Thanks in advance

Hey, Thanks for contacting us. Unfortunatelly the plugin doesn’t have mentioned features. You could try hiding day/hour/minute counters by CSS, but this requires some coding experience. Also there are no functions to increase/decrease time – the time can be set only on initialisation.

Hello, I bought this plugin but when I upload and install it in wordpress it says that it did not found a valid plugin. Installation failed.

Hey, This item is not a Wordpress plugin :) This is Wordpress version of redCountdown: https://codecanyon.net/item/redcountdown-circular-countdown/9375050 You can purchase Wordpress version and then apply for a refund for non-wp version.

Best, David Boom Apps Team

Hello, ah that makes sense. Thanks. I ordered the wordpress version just now. How can I apply for a refund?

Hey, You can apply for a refund here: https://themeforest.net/refund_requests/new

Please include purchase code for non-WP version.

can this be embedded into a page builder via a JAVASCRIPT / HTML element ?

Hey, This is just a JS script. It can be “embedded” everywhere where you can add custom html code.

Hi, is there any way to have the circle empty, rather than fill, as it reaches the end date? Thanks!

Hey, Unfortunatelly there is no such setting.

Hello! I accidentally got the jQuery plugin when I meant to get the Wordpress one. Would you be able to refund me for the jquery and charge me for the WP one?

Hey, Thanks for contacting us.

There is no problem. Please purchase Wordpress version first and then file for a refund of jQuery version (include purchase code for Wordpress version) and refund will be granted.

Hello, I’ve used redCountdown once and it worked fine. I’m now using it again and I get a strange error:

jQuery(...).redCountdown is not a function at HTMLDocument.<anonymous> ((index):163) at i (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:2) at Object.fireWith [as resolveWith] (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:2) at Function.ready (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:2) at HTMLDocument.K (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:2)

I’ve used the same version of jQuery on my previous project and didn’t have any problems.

Thanks!

Hi, Thanks for contacting support. Please PM us at hello@boomapps.eu with a link to page where this problem occurs.

I was wondering if there is a way to edit the code to switch the direction of the animation of each ring so that it disappears rather than appears as time counts down?

So for instance, when we start a new minute, the second ring is complete, and as the seconds count down, the ring disappears. At 60 seconds it’s a complete ring, at 45 seconds we can only see three quarters of it, at 1 second, only 1/60th of the ring is visible, etc.

Thanks!

Sure. I’m wondering if it’s structured in a such a way that it would be a relatively easy change to make? And if so, where one would make the edits?

Thanks

This should be quite easy. You can preview the source code in item demo page.

Great thanks.

Hello, love the plugin! How do I get this to be smaller? I only want a smaller countdown (about the col-md-4 of bootstrap) but instead it’s just stacking on top of each other. I’d like it to be the size of when it’s responsive for mobile—is there a way I can do that?

Hi! The element adapts to parent container width, so you can just wrap it inside a smaller div.

Example: [redcountdown…...]

Hello, I’m working with your plugin and it looks very good. I set the end and now dates but everytime you refresh the page it starts again.

http://countdownpuebla.herokuapp.com/blue.html

end: ‘1499751249992’, now: ‘1499744472451’,

Is there something I’m missing? Thanks, Katia

Hey, The now parameter should be supplied from server with current time (eg. <?php echo time()*1000; ?>).

You’ve set static end time, so the script thinks it’s 1499744472451 o’clock every time it loads :)

Best, Alex Boom Apps Team

Thanks! That helps a lot, I left now as default but there’s another issue: I need the countdown to finish by september 26 2017, which is 1506427200000, if I put that as the end it says it will run for 72290 days. http://countdownpuebla.herokuapp.com

Hey, Our mistake, all dates should 11 digits long (seconds), not 14(miliseconds) – so just <?php echo time(); ?>. Sorry for this little mislead.

Best, Alex Boom-AppsTeam

Can’t get it to start counting down… everything is loading, no errors in console… this is my script:

<script> $(function() { $(”#zw-cd-timer”).redCountdown({ preset: “flat-colors”, end: 1491177600 }); }); </script>

It works if I extend out 3 more zeros as a millesecond timestamp… sort of… the days are way off though… that date should be April 3rd, 2017

Hey, Thanks for contacting support. We’ll investigate the issue and answer with a fix this evening CET time.

any luck? thanks in advance

Hey, We’ve replied you yesterday. Have you got our email?

Hi Thank you for making this wonderful countdown. I have a problem with it. The problem is about “end time”. I want to set counter from now to a specific timestamp related to 10 days next. But the counter shows me 9999 days !!! this is my timestamp: end: 1483250707002,

Hey, The timestamp is too long – should be 10 digits long. This one is a milisecond timestamp.

Best, Boom Apps Team

Hi what happens when the count down finishes?

Also, do you have any updates for this? Everytime I keep updating anything on the page, I have to keep looking up UNIX timestamp code to input under now. If I remove that option or leave it blank, it throws the timer countdown days too far off.

Does the WP Plugin allow for re-occuring times? For instance I would like to have the countdown always count down to the upcoming Sunday.

Hello, There is no such functionality.

Best, Boom Apps Team

Hello. I’m interested in using this as an on-screen timer so that users can set the time countdown to time themselves.

1.) Can we pay you to customize it w/ a text field and buttons to set and reset timer minutes and seconds?

2.) Can we add milliseconds field?

Hey, Unfortunatelly we are currently not available for freelance and modifications.

Hi, how can I initialize the red countdown

Hello, All info is available in readme file.

Best, Boom Apps Team

Hi there,

purchased your beautiful countdown script. Can’t get it to work tho. It shows the following error: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘redCountdown’ of null; Do you know how to solve this? Also sent a mail about this.

Thanks, Sebastiaan

I’ve sent a PM
