Hello! Can`t fing information if I can make a discount like buy 5 products and get 5 more free? for 1 category of product

for this purpose you could give a try using the selected number of items will be free strategy and set the Give away strategy according to your need.

In the following example, it has been configured to give an item for free each 5. This rule will apply to any product belonging to category 1, 4 and 2: https://www.dropbox.com/s/emqxuqbc796sbfv/wctbp_conf.jpg?dl=0

For example, for product 1 (11 in cart), 2 items will be free and for product 3, 1 will be free: https://www.dropbox.com/s/emqxuqbc796sbfv/wctbp_conf.jpg?dl=0

For each product, the discount will give max 5 items for free.

You can fully test the software using the demo site in order to be sure it actually fits your needs and expectations before purchasing. In case of further info, feel free to ask!

Sorry, we need to have a discount for all items in category. For example take 10 different items and get 5 of them for free

Hi. I have one quick pre-sales question. I’m looking for a functionality that would allow my store to apply a certain % discount to cart, only if customers add products from two specific categories. For example if a customer adds a pair of pants and a blouse to the car, a 10% discount will be applied, bot only in this specific category combination. Is your plugin able to do this?

I’m sorry for now the plugin hasn’t such a feature. It can apply a cart % discount but only if any of the products belongs to any of the selected categories.

I want to be able to create coupon and apply on specific products based on minimum quantity. So for ex: If cart qty is 6 and coupon is entered, it will show wholesale price and the coupon can only be used only one time. Also I will be adding discount to only specific products so customer will get discount if they have discounted products (one or more) and any 5 random products in the cart.

Just to summarize 1) Discount only works when coupon is applied. 2) Discount only works when one or more discounted product AND any 5 random products are in the cart so basically when the cart minimum qty is 6 you get the discount on selected products. 3) I’m using WPML I hope I can target different language products?

Ciao, si è possibile. Basta creare una nuova regola attraverso la sezione “bulk pricing” (selezionando il prodotto di interesse) o direttametne dalla pagina admin del prodotto, e creare tre nuove “pricing rules” nelle quali definisci il prezzo da assegnare a secondo della quantità correntemente nel carrello: https://www.dropbox.com/s/gsu9kj71sd5zdau/wctbp_example.jpg?dl=0

Nell’esempio precedente, ho create 3 pricing rule che assegnano un prezzo fisso a secondo della quantitua nel carrello: da 0 a 1, il prezzo è 10. Da 3 a 4, il prezzo sarà 8. Infine da 5 in su, il prezzo unitario sarà di 4.

Il plugin ha un sito demo in cui puoi provare il software prima di acquistarlo cosi da capire se effettivamente funziona come ti aspetti e se soddisfa le tue esigenze. In caso di ulteriori informazioni, chiedi pure.

Ciao, ho comprato il plugin, ti ringrazio funziona, ci sono solo le seguenti cose da sistemare:

1) la scritta “computing price…” è traducibile solo da file .po?

2) è possibile prevedere una tabella con il riepilogo degli sconti impostati?

3) BUG: di seguito la spiegazione:

REGOLA IMPOSTATA: sconto per 2-3 quantità ulteriore sconto da 4 – 6 quantità.

inserisco un prodotto nel carrello, se clicco sullo specifico prodotto il prezzo varia cosi come impostato nella regola, ma se visualizzo lo stesso prodotto dalla home o dalla categoria prodotto il prezzo NON varia.

inserisco il secondo prodotto nel carrello, varia il prezzo anche a prodotti in vetrina, inserisco il terzo prodotto nel carrello e nel dettaglio prodotto visualizzo il prezzo della regola sconto (4-6) ed è corretto. MENTRE NELLA VETRINA visualizzo ancora il prezzo della regola sconto (2-3), in pratica la regola precedente.

inserisco il 4 prodotto nel carrello e varia anche il prezzo del prodotto in vetrina.

in conclusione c’è un errore di sincronizzazione tra il prezzo del prodotto nel dettaglio e quello visualizzato nel prodotto in vetrina.

  2. mi dispiace il plugin non ha questa funzionalità
  3. Cosa intendi per “vetrina” ? Nota il plugin computa dinamicamente il prezzo attraverso l’action “woocommerce_product_get_price”, quindi assicurati che i template utilizzati lancino quell’azione durante la renderizzazione del prezzo. Piu nello specifico, ogni volta che un template renderizza il prezzo di un prodotto, lancia quell’actionp passando come parametri il prezzo e un riferimento al prodotto. Il plugin quindi, utilizzando quei dati e in base alle pricing rule esistenti, manipola calcola il nuovo prezzo da visualizzare. Assicurati quindi che il template che stai utilizzando lanci correttamente quell’action e che sopratutto non ci sia nessun meccanismo di caching che possa impedire il calcolo aggiornato dei prezzi

I have a pre-sale question. I’d like to create a discount such as:

Buy any 3 products of category X or any category and get them for a fixed amount Y.

When the customer buys 4 products of category X, then he/she would pay amount Y for 3 of these products and the regular price for the 4th product.

When the customer buys 6 products of category X, then he/she would pay 2x the amount Y.

Is this possible with your plugin?

The price that is displayed on the product is:

The totalt is right, but the % is wrong and the price 490.20 seams to be price without the vat. The option Display items price without tax is set to No

without any further clue about the tax configuration you are using and how the price rule has been set, it is quite hard to determine the cause of the issue.

Have you properly configured tax rates through the WooCommerce -> Settings -> Tax -> Standard rates area? Are you using any other plugin that is altering item prices or taxes management? Could you try disabling all the other 3rd party plugins?

If the previous test did not helped, if you send me via private message (click on my name and then use the low-right box) the following data:

  2. Full admin access to the wp-admin area

  4. a detailed step by step guide on how to experience the issue

before I make a purchase I would like to ask you one thing. I need to set a discount for chosen customers (chosen accounts and in the future: custom user roles). Discount must be visible only on cart and checkout page and be applied to all products in the cart. I would like to set it in %. The problem is I already use plugin called Ultimate Points and Rewards, so your plugin should apply discount to products only, not the total amount including points dicsount.

In other words: let’s say client is buying products for 100$. In his cart he applies a discount using his points (worth 20$ )from the loyalty system so now his order is 80$. But because this is a premium user, he would always has an additional discount of 10%. The plugin should calculate 10% from the original 100$, not 80$. Would that be possible? So first goes the discount made by your plugin, then (if user wants to use his points) he can always apply additional discount using them.

Please let me know if ther wouldn’t be any conflict.

I’m sorry but the plugin hasn’t any feature to apply % discount only to products on the cart.

You can set a discount based on cart current total or apply to a set of products. Cart total is retrieved by using the native WooCommerce cart object (https://docs.woocommerce.com/wc-apidocs/class-WC_Cart.html ), however, I am not able to say how that plugin is manipulating the “total” value associated with that object. So it is hard to say if the Cart object, in the specific example, returns 100$ or 80$.

If you send me a private message (click on my name then use the low-right box) reporting your email, I’ll reply with my where you can send a copy of that plugin. Then I can set up a private demo site where you can test both plugins in actions and make sure that they actually work as expected!

Will this plugin allow me to set a free pricing option for a specific product and only charge the customer shipping and they get the product free? In other words when the customer adds the product to the cart it will show the charge as zero but when they checkout they will just be charged a shipping fee and nothing for the product itself?

Hi there, How do I change the discount title show on the cart page? Instead of “1. Discount (5%)”, I would like to show Rule Name dynamically, so “Silver member discount (5%)”. the discounts/fees are applied through the WCTBP_Cart.php, more in specific by the apply_discount_if_any method.

The plugin doesn’t offer any action to which 3rd party can hook to eventually alter the discount application process.

The discount can be the sum of different discount rule, so there isn’t a way to just assign the discount name as the rule name.

If you which to modify the current fee name, just alter the 235 line:
 $woocommerce->cart->add_fee($discount_counter.". ".$additional_text, $discount_to_subtract/*,  $apply_tax, '' */ );

the $discount_counter.”. ”.$additional_text is the “1. Discount (5%)” you currently display. Modify as you wish!

i have a bug, the item cart price’s in my cart are good but the sub total is not good… how fix it ?

Are you using any other plugin that alters product, cart or prices? Could you try disabling all 3rd party plugins and reperform a test? Make also sure you are using the latest 11.9 version.

Hello Dear, i just review my support as i got unexpected strange problem ! im using the software just for giving special rate(item) for wholesale roll.

before 2days we had order and it was working fine. yesterday we got message from customer that the price same as normal.

i try to create new customers for wholesale role and….same issue ! maybe its comes before the update our last version? im not sure !

Could you provide a detailed step by step guide on how to experience the issue?

From my tests the plugin seems to be working as expected. I’ve created a “test” user grating the wholesale role. okay, I am using one, but the prices are not get updated as they used to be…

This is because that plugin is altering the normal WooCommerce workflow. The plugin is designed to show prices/fees (according to the current pricing rules) on cart and checkout pages. If a plugin is implementing custom cart/checkout pages, if it is not triggering the proper WooCommerce actions, won’t be compatible with the plugin pricing features.

As you can see it the demo site, categories can be selected without any problem. So in your specific case, it could depend on a 3rd party plugin interference.

Please make sure you are running the latest 11.8 plugin version then disable all 3rd party plugins. Check if you still experience the issue, if not, enable one by one the 3rd party plugin until you find the interfering one. Once done, report to its developer in order to fix the interference.

I tried to do it as You mentioned. The wholesale customers are okay, and they see the prices as they needs to be.

A normal user of the website (customer) does not see the prices at all, this is okay too.

But the issue is still with the “consignment customers”. They also do not see the prices… but they need to see the regular prices, just having a discount from the cart total.

Where I am not right sure, if I have this consignment customers set up correct.

Possible for You to check or tell me how I need to set? I used to set it up with the user role editor.
