I can see that you are from Russia and in Russia the local format of number starts with 8 as a prefix for more information on this read this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telephone_numbers_in_Russia

Since we provide formatting/masking of numbers so that they look good and are easily understandable to user, and on our demo the formatting was set to local, so that was the reason you were seeing that 8. We’ve changed the formatting to international on demo now so if you check it now you’ll see your number in international formatting.

For the “Invalid OTP” error can you please make sure you didn’t input incorrect number. Or did you try it another time !! If its not working then I would request you to create a support ticket on https://help.unitedover.com with your mobile number so that we can check it in backend on what went wrong.

We do have a huge number of customers from Russia so its really weird to know that it didn’t work for you.

as for the numbering: no, you are wrong. As any other countries Russia has code +7. And all )) Then area or mobile code and phone number. Look at your link: Calls from outside Russia

where ABC is the area code
You can the same call and from inside, no any 8… But when I try to insert my phone number the system does as: +7 8 ABC xxx-xx-xx. But I think it does not matter – because the code is sent and I got it to mobile.

I think you got me wrong +7 is for sure the international country code, but the 8 I am talking about is your local trunk prefix, its not your country code. I hope your check the wiki link I sent for Russian numbers.

For the Incorrect OTP I would really love to get this checked for you by the team as we do have a good amount of customers from Russia and none of them ever reported anything of this sort, so its really weird to know that its not working just for you. We would still like to check this for you if you can create a support ticket

tried again now – ufff popup window generates the error, custom page allowed to sign in/ But now I can’t logout to check login) Cloudflare error…Ok, it does not matter – will buy maybe another time – when will be stable…

What error did you got and are you sure your network itself is not blocking anything. Digits is very stable. We don’t have any errors or issues of this sort.

Okay, I understand it now since logout url uses /wp-login.php in the url so that’s the reason it was getting the cloudflare page in between. Removed that you’ll be able to logout now. For the number thing, please try clearing as we’ve already changed the formatting to international.

As I mentioned before you’ll be able to logout now, recently we protected some of our pages and in that /wp-login.php was also included, but since wordpress also uses this url for logout, it was getting redirected to Cloudflare page. But now its been removed, you can logout and you won’t face this issue on your installation in any way as it was our security policy issue. The number 8 there is because of your local formatting of the number, please check trunk prefix in this article https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telephone_numbers_in_Russia

as for local formatting. May be we did not understand each other – who is writing that format? You code, masking? If yes – it needs to be corrected – no one no where is using local or not local number like +7 8 ABC xxx-xx-xx.
Yes, I can call from local as 8 ABC xxx-xx-xx. But I can also call from local +7 ABC XXX-XX-XX. But no one use format +7 8 ABC… And sure – when anyone register at the site – he(she) have to see correct number (not error with 8- may be thoughts about system), I do not understand – is it hard to correct? this is issue, not big, but issue.

Good to hear that its working now. And I think now we are on the same page, I was saying the same that its used as local trunk prefix, which and some countries even allow calling without that as well. I’ve taken this feature request, we’ll support the change of international and national formatting in that screen as well from the next update I hope its all clear now.

nice to here that! Because if I install the plugin – and customers will see incorrect number withing signing up procedure ( in OTP input screen) – it can disorient them: if all right or not…

Again, it’s not incorrect, it’s just that some of your users might not be aware of this thing btw I’ve asked the team to get this done on a priority basis.

What is not working on demo ??? As of now we don’t have whatsapp on demo. Its available with Account Kit gateway.
