Replicate the module named “destination” for example in the folder /admin/modules/booking/destination/. Then edit the file /admin/modules/booking/city(new folder name)/config.xml and replace “destination” with “city” in the entire document. Open the file /common/db.sql and copy the table structure pm_destination and make the same (replace destination with city, finally execute the query in your phpMyAdmin to add the table pm_city).

can we configure gst taxes, as in demo we are unable to add taxes, as it is disabled.
So if you could add 5%, 12% gst examples, we could understand if it is working as we require, prior to purchase.

Hi, I bought this script more than 3 years ago and I modified it as a car rental website. Very useful and I like your work. I think it’s time to switch to the new version. So I installed and examined the latest version. But when I enter some payments in the bookings section (on booking detail) on the admin panel, there is no change in the paid and balance values. Check if the table pm_booking_payment exists, also check in your browser js console if there is any error when you enter an amount.

I’ve tried before with chrome. I tried a few minutes ago with Firefox, everything is ok. Then I cleared chromes history and it also returned to normal. May be there was another js file with the same name in the history. Now everthing is super. Thank you very much.

Make sure the file htaccess.txt has been renamed into .htaccess and the variable {DOCBASE} in this file (line 67) has been replaced with the document root.
RewriteRule ^ - [E=BASE:{DOCBASE}] [L]
Must be replaced with:
RewriteRule ^ - [E=BASE:/] [L]
If your website is installed in a subfolder (for example /test), the correct syntax will be:
RewriteRule ^ - [E=BASE:/test/] [L]

When i try to access; http://localhost/hotel/booking, i get this error
Not Found The requested URL /hotel/booking was not found on this server.
When i checked the folder, there is no file or folder named booking.

The line 67 of the file .htaccess must be:
RewriteRule ^ - [E=BASE:/hotel/] [L]
“booking/” is the URL rewriting, the folder doesn’t exist, it’s a “virtual” name.

Fixed for other users, Windows automatically adds .txt extension to files without filename like .htaccess. So in the folder settings, show files extension, then open notepad, paste the content of the file htaccess.txt and save as .htaccess selecting
All files (*)
instead of
Text files (*.txt)
before saving in the Save as dialog box.

another small issue, i don’t know how others missed it.
while booking room after selection of number of room we have to select no of adults and child’s. in that if we select 2 adults it shows 172. that’s perfect. if we select child as one and enter its age it shows 252 that is also perfect. because 80 have been added. but if i deselect the child age and also number of child to null, it still shows 252. this in wrong. your price is unable to update. because in booking also it shows 2525 for 2 adults.

I found a little error on this script and it’s very important it’s fixed
1: On the booking summary print out, the hotel name is not stated there.
2: and the process to print out the booking summary from the admin area is too complex, please why not put the booking summary view button on the booking page beside the booking “edit and delete button” to make it easy
3: Guest dont receive email notification for Manual booking from the admin area
4: It will be important to have the ability to resend the booking details in an email to guest in situation where the reservation is updated like payment status change
