Hello, I am using this plugin- the flipcards theme on the demo page looks fine, but when I implement the same theme on my page, the cards are horizontally misaligned – in the row of three Videos the second and third video are each appear a few pixels lower than the first and second video respectively. So it looks like each row is sloping downwards. Also the height of the cards seems higher than the flipcards example on the YoutubeR webpage, Can you let me know I can get all the cards on the same horizontal line and looking like the example? Hello. Sorry for the late response, the problem is that you have a PRE tag surrounding the shortcode. Just remove this tag and all will be ok.

Hey, How can we show the FEATURED VIDEO in a section. Similar to how you have: “Demo of featured video combined with playlist” . I don’t see anything in the documentation about the featured video

so there is no way to automate it? eg. if there is a featured video on the youtube channel, that’s what it displays in the area for the single video?
No, there is no option that identify the featured video in the YouTube API that can be used.
I know this plugin supports videos based on the input of a YouTube link. But does it offer the ability to use YouTube’s encoder setup Server URL and Stream name/key? I’m looking to stream live and while streaming live I want the video displayed on my site. I don’t want to have to input a link each time I stream. Thanks
Hello. As far as i know, each time you streaming, you get a new stream URL. So anyway you need to input new URL every time you stream. I haven’t tried the plugin with the streams. If you would provide a stream URL i can try it with the plugin.
This is the stream URL from YouTube rtmp://a.rtmp.youtube.com/live2 I think what changes each time is the Stream name/key not sure. I guess if there is no input section for the stream name/key then this probably will not work. Only inputting a YouTube URL will work. Thanks
When you watch it on YouTube, you get URL like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3SViIOqesmg
And this URL can be used in the plugin to show it on your website.

Can this be set up such that individual BuddyPress members can connect their own YouTube Channels/Playlists to their BuddyPress profile/page at my site? Or is this just a plugin for the site’s administrator to connect their own channel?

i need a plugin that essentially works as the built in wordpress media section, but “hosts” the file on youtube. Still need to be able to add the video through standard media selection (due to another plugin). Would this be possible?

Hello. If you display the playlist on your website with this plugin – the playlist will be automatically updated when you upload a new video into the playlist on YouTube. So you don’t need to do anything on your website – it will be updated automatically.

how fast a playlist is updated when adding to a new video?
Hello. It depends on a “Cache lifetime” setting of the plugin. You can set it to 0 and the playlist will update instantly. But it will increase the server’s load and increase YouTube API requests amount. So you can set it to 1 minute for example, so the maximum amount of time till playlist refresh on your website will be 1 minute.
I would like to see in future option for player on top above gallery, not only lightbox. If I can see no one has similar plugin for vimeo. Can you think about that, you can be first on envato! Anyway you have great plugin, clean code and very fast. Gratulation.

Right now the video’s that show normal but blurry are set to parameter medium. Unfortunately with every other parameter, they get even blurrier and start showing black space at top and bottom, which isn’t what we want and also not as displayed in the demo. We’ve tried all of them, but I set parameter “maxres” for the first video to demonstrate the problem.
Please help us out. Website is launching soon and we would really like to fix this problem.
The parameter size is responsible for the YouTube thumbnail size. So the values described in the documentation are the only values available from the YouTube.
YouTube adding black space at top and bottom if the width/height ratio is not 16:9 but i can’t do anything with that, because the YouTube generates those thumbnails.
So there are 2 ways of solving this issue:
1. Set video thumbnails with 16:9 width/height ratio (1,777777777777778)
2. Make more columns, so the video thumbnails will be smaller.
After the last update, all my videos on my website started playing automatically. Thats horrible! Couldnt find any option to deactivate autoplay.

Just to inform you: I activated “Lightbox” for know (that works so far), cauz playing 4-8 Videos at the same time, everytime you visit the site is not bearable

The youtube videos are displayed as a gallery in inpeaks.com posts. When the videos reaches the end the clip, another suggested video is displayed on the screen. When the user clicks on it, it takes the user to the youtube site. It drives the visitors to youtube. Let us know if it is possible to play the suggested video on the same player in our site or is it possible to disable the suggested videos function by your plugin.

Hello. It is not possible to display suggested videos on you website. But it is possible to disable suggested videos by using the parameter suggested_videos=”false”

Hello, I tried giving suggested_videos=”false” parameter in the short code, but still when the video is about to finish there is one suggested video. It takes to the youtube site.You may check from the url, https://www.inpeaks.com/videos/
Just checked the YouTube developers documentation – they have changed this option, so from the 25 september you can’t disable suggested videos, sorry.
