Yes, Caption is, but it is very convenient for the notes below the table. And I would like the title of the table, the same as the names of the columns.

After all, Caption can not be put on top and bottom at the same time. And you can not give them a different style – on top of a large title / title, below a small italic note.

Please note that currently, you can achieve the same by using a custom HTML element just before or after the shortcode or Gutenberg block used to display the table. (for example an h3 element placed before the table)

the number of rows and columns occupied by the cell should be specified in the Row Slots and Columns Slots cell properties.

For example if you want that a cell spans for two column you have to set the Columns Slots value of that cell to 2. At the same time you have to decide which cell should be removed from the layout on that row, and you can do this by setting Columns Slots to “0” in that cell.

The Rows Slots cell property is the same but on the vertical axis.

the data should be simply copied and pasted from your spreadsheet to the spreadsheet embedded in League Table like in this video. To paste the data you can either click Ctrl+v or alternatively use the context menu accessible by clicking the right mouse button on the spreadsheet embedded in League Table.

Please proceed as follows:

1. Upgrade to 2.06 with this procedure:

1. In the Plugins menu click “Deactivate”
2. Update all the plugin files via FTP
3. In the Plugins menu click “Activate”

Thanks for your quick reply and great support. I’ve activated the “Row Slots” and “Column Slots” via plugin options and it works. On the rows you want to “dissapear” should put the 0 value.

I confirm you that in the next plugin update the “Remove Row” and “Remove Column” context menu tasks will be renamed “Remove Rows” and “Remove Columns” with the related changes in the terms of functionalities.

please make sure that you have properly updated the plugin with this procedure: (in case you didn’t use this procedure please perform step 1 and step 3)

And also that the browser cache has been deleted. (the new version make use of new front-end assets)

The sorting is applied only on the front-end by JavaScript.

And does your plugin gives the ability to filter the table in Frontend?

There are no filters that can be applied in the front-end.

tooltips can currently be created with a custom implementation (HTML + CSS or HTML + CSS + JavaScript) added in the HTML Content cell property. This is a an example.

Since other users requested the same recently, a specific option available in the cell properties section will be considered in the plugin update that will be released this month.

the Tables Menu Capability, Import Menu Capability and Export Menu Capability options allows you to define the capabilities required to use the Tables, Import and Export menus of League Table. On this page you can find a complete reference on the WordPress capabilities.

A couple of examples. If you want to allow the access to the three menus of League Table to the administrator you can set “manage_options”. If you want to allow the access to the three menus of League Table to the editors you can set “edit_pages”.

Okay, I have done that, but when I add a new table it just seems to take me back to the same screen and the table does not add. What could be preventing it from saving?

there are two alternative causes for this issue:

• the plugin uses JavaScript to save and update the tables in the League Table -> Tables menu. If other components of your website generate JavaScript error in that page the JavaScript part used by League Table can’t properly run
• the database tables used to store the data of League Table are not available

If you want a precise answer and possibly a solution for this I recommend you to contact us through the “Support” tab and create a temporary WordPress account that has access to the League Table -> Tables menu so we can inspect that menu page.
