Make sure the file htaccess.txt has been renamed into .htaccess and the variable {DOCBASE} in this file (line 67) has been replaced with the document root.

Must be replaced with:
RewriteRule ^ - [E=BASE:/] [L]
If your website is installed in a subfolder (for example /test), the correct syntax will be:

About the 404 error, follow the instructions I sent you in my previous comment (htaccess file).
About the settings not saved : make sure that /common/config.php file exists and grant rights 777. Disable server caching for php files and try to refresh several times. You can also make the changes directly in config.php.

Hi, When i search any room by selecting from and to date with adults and children option. It don’t check adults and children options as on booking page, adults field is selected with 1 and children selected value with 0, but from and to fields are taken fine. I think the issue is with session.
I checked it multiple times by providing different values to adults and children, but it shows 1 for adult and 0 for children.
Please support. Its urgent.

When you add a room in the admin panel, you define a default price, but this price is not used to check availabilities. You need to add rates (prices) for each room in the admin panel: Admin > Modules > Rates
Make sure you’ve defined a “Number of people” and a “Price / night” (if the price is per room) OR a “Price / extra adult or child / night” (if the price is per person) when you add you rates.

I am facing an issue, when i installed it and i am trying to book a room from front end,that it doesn’t allow me to book a room and showing message “No Availability”, even though i tried to check it multiple times by adding new rooms and even builtin rooms. I added a hotel and created multiple rooms under this hotel.
When i search it from booking page or even from home page, it shows the list of rooms , but when i select Num of Adults or children, it shows No Availability in Red background. Even i added room with 4 No. of rooms from the backend while adding a room.

Add prices in the module Rates>
For a price per night PER room, define a price per night (field “Price / night”) and a number of people (field “Num people”) = max capacity of the room (field “Max people” of the module “Rooms”). Here “Num people” is the number of guests included in the price. You can also define a smaller value for “Num people” and use the fields “Price / extra adult / night” and/or “Price / extra child / night” to add an extra cost for additional persons.
For a price per night PER person, define a price per adult and/or children (fields “Price / extra adult / night” and/or “Price / extra child / night”). Here the field “Price / night” = 0 If you have special prices for children according to the age, better use the field “Children’s rates” instead of “Price / extra child / night”.

Replicate the module named “destination” for example in the folder /admin/modules/booking/destination/. Then edit the file /admin/modules/booking/city(new folder name)/config.xml and replace “destination” with “city” in the entire document. Open the file /common/db.sql and copy the table structure pm_destination and make the same (replace destination with city, finally execute the query in your phpMyAdmin to add the table pm_city).

I have already installed all the script on the server. So, I have just an issue with the site page. Please check it because after installation, only the HomePage is working.
All the other page provides error 404. I have followed your installer and the Manual process to perform the installation which was Ok. But, the script displays only the HomePage. However, I send you the server info in your private Inbox Mail to access and to correct the issue.

You can specify the alias in Admin > Modules > Pages (or Articles) > Edit/New > Alias. E.g. http://www.mywebsite.tld/mypage (mypage is the alias of the page)

I’m using php7.3.5 , mysql 8.0.16, apache 2.4 localhost enviroment
After setup according to instructions i found these issues:
1- I can login to the admin panel but when i can’t access the main website because of infinite redirection. Please refer to this chrome message: localhost redirected you too many times. Try clearing your cookies. ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS
2- The dummy data in the database have deleted associated data. For example hotels data have a records in the database but don’t have any translation record. So, When you open the dashboard you will find you have 1 hotel but when you list hotels you will find no hotels!. Please upload the database used in demo or another fresh database which has clean and organized data.
3- When i access destinations url or services url from the admin panel: admin/modules/booking/destination/index.php?view=form&id=0 admin/modules/booking/service/index.php?view=form&id=0

After many tries to solve these problems i found that these problems occurred because of using mysql 8.0.3
Mysql8 added some additional reserved words than mysql 5.7.
Your script uses some of these reserved words like “rank” and “system” as fields name in some tables.

As a quick fix for this issue i did a quick search and replace all “ORDER BY rank” with “ORDER BY `rank`”. Notice the quotation around `rank` to tell mysql that this is a field name not a keyword.
You should take care of this notice and it’s preferred to change the name of all “rank” and “system” fields to another name like `sort_rank`, `is_system` to be compatible with mysql 8.0.3 or greater.
