There is used the same form for all confirmation modes on the checkout page. There are required the following fields by default: First Name, Last Name, Email , Phone, Country of residence. You may also enable Full Address fields.

Our plugin has a shortcode that displays an Availability Calendar of a specific accommodation type. The shortcode requires the id of this accommodation type. Available dates are marked as green while the unavailable ones are automatically marked as red.
Hi, Is this usable for a brokerage that has many summer rental houses? Each house has its own minimum length and guidelines (pets, number of people, etc) including the full summer season. Also is any of the booking data exportable?

The plugin should work for brokerage, too. It allows creating separate booking rules, prices, number of people, facilities, etc. for each house.
Currently some booking data is exportable with an additional plugin. However, we are planning to release an update (3.5.0) in a month where CSV export of all booking info will be a part of the base functionality of our plugin.
Hello This is a pre-sale question. I would like to have ‘paypal’ and ‘pay on arrival’ options. Is it possible that visitors confirm the booking automatically during a paypal payment, but that the confirmation is left to the admin when paying on arrival? Thanks !

Both PayPal and Pay on Arrival get confirmed automatically. There is a pending time for payment, so the confirmation cannot wait till arrival. If the customer selects Pay on Arrival, you see in the listing of bookings that the booking has not been paid for. A payment can be added manually upon arrival.
Hi, i would like the Price Breakdown on the booking confirmation page to display the price as zero (0) before the user selects the number of guests. I am using the plugin for a villa website which charges per number of persons / per night and currently the Price Breakdown shows the highest price (for 6 persons) and not the lowest price (for 1 person) – this is really bad and makes many users to leave the page without completing the booking. So i need the lowest price there or zero (this is the ideal option) before users select the number of guests. Is this possible? Thanks

Thank you for your question. We are working on new update version where the price breakdown shows base price by default before selecting amount of guests. You will be able to set variable pricing to 0 or equal capacity of 1 Guest to show by default.

Thank you! In the meantime is it possible to have 1 guest selected by default on the Guests dropdown? Currently it shows “select” and user has to select the number of guests in the dropdown. If “1” is selected by default i guess the Price Breakdown will display the price for 1 guest.

The price breakdown will not display prices for one person by default if you set 1 guest as pre-select. In the next plugin update (3.5.0), Price Breakdown will display the base price instead of the maximum.

Hi, i have some pre-sale questions. I’m building a website for a villa and there are some specific requirements, so I would like to know if your plugin can work this way:
1) I need to define the price per night according to the number of persons. For example, in the low season the price is 250 euros for 6 persons, 238 euros for 5 persons, 225 euros for 4 persons and 200 euros for 2 persons. In the high season the price is 350 euros for 6 persons, 332 euros for 5 persons, 315 euros for 4 persons and 280 euros for 2 persons. Can I do that with our plugin?
2) I need to have a Refundable and a Non-Refundable price. The Non-Refundable price will be lower than the Refundable price. I would like to display both options and let the user select the option he wants for his booking. Is this possible?
3) If #2 is possible, i need users to pay 30% deposit if they choose the Refundable price and 100% if they choose the Non-Refundable price. Can i do that?

Hi,
MotoPress Hotel Booking allows creating multiple rates, e.g. Refundable and Non-Refundable (tutorial) that depend on the number of people staying and seasons (tutorial). Both rates will be displayed on the checkout page for selection. The price is recalculated once customers select the preferred one.
The deposit does not depend on the selected rate in our plugin. You could collect 30% deposit for both rates and then manually send a payment request for the rest of the Non-Refundable sum with this addon.
Hello, I was wondering if the plugin has some sort of functionality to re-allocate bookings. I can’t find a way to move a booking (pending or booked) from one room to another. Thanks.

It is not possible to move bookings. You will need to place a new booking for the correct rooms (tutorial) and trash the old booking.
Editing bookings is on our feature request list. We can notify you if it gets implemented.

Hi, pre-sale question: On the search results page there is reservation cart form. Selected rooms are added to it, but this information is not saved, reservation cart is cleared when you leave search page or reload. How to save selected rooms data? If this is not possible, I am ready to modify it myself, but I need some explanations. Thanks

There is not used a cart during reservation process. You may simply click Book button next to accommodation types within a list at search results to reserve few accommodation types and then click Confirm Reservation to complete bookings.
It is not possible to save the selection you made by clicking Book button so when you leave this page you need to check those accommodation types again.
Thanks for the answer. It would be nice in the future to have an opportunity to save the selected rooms so as not to press the “Book” button each time. To do this, can use cookie or browser session storage.

Pre-Sale question: I’ve got a B&B where the whole home is one rental unit (not rooms) and so the capacity is higher than standard “room” bookings. I’m trying to find a booking engine that has flexible pricing to handle this type of pricing grid:
Adults: 1 & 2 = $150/night (flat rate for couple) 3, 4 & 5 = add $30/night / person
Children: 6 to 12 years = add $15/night /child 0 to 6 years = free
Can the booking system handle this as a single reservation option?

You will need to create the BnB as a single accommodation type. Your pricing will work with our plugin, but you will need to add a text on the checkout page to inform your guests that the total capacity that they can select is 5 guests.

Hi, there is no functionality to add custom fields to the checkout form yet. However it is possible to re-name existing fields to get the needed information. Our plugin can be used for listing and renting out properties, but it does not have functionality for selling. We would advise using an additional plugin for property sales.
The MotoPress Hotel Booking plugin is compatible with any theme created according to the WordPress standards. It uses the single post template of the active theme for accommodation type pages and standard CSS classes to pick up the styles of the active theme and mix in with the design. You may need to contact your theme provider to be sure that they have styles for standard CSS classes, which they normally do.

Yes, sure all the shortcodes and its attributes are listed under Dashboard > Accommodation > Shortcodes. If you use WordPress Block editor (Gutenberg) so we have added all shortocdes as blocks so you may use it and configure easily.

You may use shortcodes on any page or post types of your Wordpress site. However in order to let guests to rent the properties you will need to add them as well as seasons and rates using our plugin.

MotoPress Hotel Booking can share availability with any platform that supports the ical system. Major booking platforms like Airbnb, TripAdvisor, HomeAway and so on support ical. You may need to contact the platforms that you are interested in to make sure that the ical feature is available in your accounts.
Our plugin downloads calendars from the connected platforms and updates the availability on your website once an hour automatically. External platforms download calendars from our plugin independently, according to their own schedules.
You can test out the ical sync feature by registering a personal back-end demo and following this tutorial.
