Hi, I very much like your plugin, it works fast and smooth and looks good!
There is one question I have (or suggestion in case this is not possible yet): the search function in the sidebar widged does not provide a drop-down with suggestions, therefore the user has to know how exactly to write the product name. Is is very unlikely that the user will get this right. Even on your demo page the problem exists with the iphones: only the first matching product is added, then it says “product already on comparison list”.
Is there a workaround or do you plan to include this feature in upcoming versions?

Hello, Our website includes non-woocommerce pages, I want to be able to only enable the ‘Compare Bar’ on the shop page but the ‘Compare Bar’ display options are limited to ‘Top’ and ‘Bottom’ Not fluent in CSS but I think it may have something to do it, if this is the case please point me to a guide to disable the ‘Compare Bar’ where it’s not relevant. Thank you!

I’ve been getting an intermittent AJAX error, which appears to be in conjunction with your WooCommerce Better Compare Products plugin, which we love, btw!
I’m still trying to do some troubleshooting, but so haven’t exhausted my options yet, and am still doing some troubleshooting but wanted to check in case you’ve seen this error before and have a solution?

I can refresh multiple times and it shows up maybe 1 out of 10 times I refresh. And we are seeing issues where users add products to compare, then go to the compare page and it is empty, even though there are products still displaying in the compare bar.

Hi, presale questions: I found a new plugin for a product comparision that have some advantages against your plugin: https://wpclever.net/downloads/woocommerce-smart-compare – 1) Is fully working comparison bar – with possibility to move (change order) of products, and with auto re-arrange/move after some product at middle was deleted (when your plugin just stuck), etc; 2) With nice design and better auto-logic for bar show and hide. The problem is that I use your WooC Group Attributes to setup how Attributes Values must shown – so that plugin does not pick a such options, but your WooCommerce Compare Products can. So will you improve your plugin with #1 and maybe #2?

1) Why not? It’s really easy! Also for now when user from comparison 1-2-3-4-5 will delete #3 – at your bar stay a black block at middle with nothing – that’s looks bad and crookedly – so even to remove such bug you need to add auto re-arranging! With it it will be easy to add also manual re-arranging. PS For my opinion you as developer all the time a little lazy and not efficiently improve your plugins – each of them can be significantly improved with some really easy features like this re-arrange for comparison bar, like product attributes groups headers for GroupAttributes, like make a dynamically adding of manual tabs instead of pre-made 7 at UltimateTabs, etc. You plugins a really good, but most of them just in a few steps from the perfect! And you just rested don’t want to finish them! Think about it!
How do you know it’s easy? There is no index in the array key elements which would make rearranging possible right now.
I alone make a Win project with 80 tables with 2000 parameters and multi-functional interface. All you WP-addons tasks also with so many info at internet – a really easy.
Maybe you can do this and send us the code?
Win is not Web, C++ is not php, I just dont know web technologies. It’s all just a useless chatter. I really don’t understand why you refuse to add a really useful functions to already made plugin to make them perfect and that can bring to you a new buyers with a such stubbornness?!
Then do not buy our plugin if you need this feature. Sorry.

Hi, I just purchased the WooCommerce Compare Products plugin. I really like the layout and product bar. It all looks nice and clean. I do have two questions:
1) How do I change the text in the button from “Add to Compare”, “Remove from Compare” and “Read more”? To just “Compare”, “Added” and “More”. Otherwise, they take up a lot of space. If I change the woocommerce button size for Compare it changes all product buttons “Add to Cart”, etc. throughout the entire site.
2) Is there also a way to remove the button completely and just have a text link like the YITH Compare?

I have purchased this plugin but I am unable to customize it as per my needs. I need your help in this regard.
What I want is following.
1. When I compare products the color of background should be white and text in black, i tried it myself but it did not work may be I did not find right option for color replacement.
2. I want to compare whole page/post of product, what I mean is I will paste a table of specifications in my product post, when i compare it it should show that, for this purpose I can limit product comparison to 2 or 3 products.
If point number 2 is not possible, please help me how can I set custom fields for comparison and how I can put data/text in those. (I also tried this but did not work.)
I am sorry to say if these can not be set as per my requirement then I really don’t need this plugin, is there any way I can get refund instead of posting negative review if things can not meet my expectations?

1) Can you make sure the custom.css file in our plugin folder > public > css is writeable? CHMOD 0777
2) You can compare any attributes – maybe you use these fields? Or what field are you referring to? The product description?

Hello, I’m getting mixed content warnings after the compare tool is activated on my site. It appears to be requesting images over http instead of https, how can this be fixed?
Never saw that before – can you check if your $_SERVER variable outputs https as the default http protocol?

Can you provide error logs? Maybe you need to increase the php memory limit in order to save.

Hi I have increased the memory, ill be honest its all a bit messy.
The images of the procucts are not containd on the comparison data which means they show as what ever dimenshions the image is.
When I save it does not save and have increased memory, when views on tablets the comparison data is all over the place.
When veiwed on a full screen comparison data is out of line.

My 2nd question is regarding hiding products. I want to hide products for a complete category but the hook is only available for product ids.

Hello. Quick question. It says the plugin uses the Redux Framework for admin settings. So, once I have it setup, is it possible to remove Redux ? Will the frontend still work if I do this ?

Hi, no because we still need to fetch the options.
Is there any other way you can achieve this ( fetching the options ) on the front end ? Because Redux adds a lot of overhead just to retrieve some options. So that’s far from optimal. Why use an entire platform just to set & retrieve some settings in the first place ?
I’m willing to do this change myself, just put the options in a file… I prefer that solution to using Redux just for this. Just tell me where the options are stored and which file retrieve them. Thanks!
PS. How did it get to this point in programming, where you use a whole platform just to set and get a couple of setting for a plugin ??
We use redux for all our plugins – why reinventing the wheel? Many themes / plugins do it.

Hello, I got an issue with this plugin and cloudflare.
Let’s say at first I add 2 products. Then on the compare page, it shows correctly. Then, if I add one more product and click “compare”, the compare page still only show the 2 products although the URL clearly shows 3 product IDs.
Only if I refresh the compare page once again, then only it shows those 3 products correctly. Do you have any idea what I could change from cloudflare setting?
Correction. Not with cloudflare, but litespeed cache plugin. Is there any js file name that I should exclude?
I managed to solve it by now by disabling caching for that page.
Anyway, here’s a suggestion by litespeed support to you guys regarding the issue.

Hi, I’ve added a 2nd “add to compare” button to the single product page using the shortcode. When I click “add to compare” on either button, it changes both buttons to “remove from compare”, and adds the product to the compare bar. If I remove the product from the compare bar using the ‘X’ in compare bar, it changes both buttons back to “add to compare”. This is working well. However, if I click either “remove from compare” button, it only changes the button which I clicked back to “add to compare”, but doesn’t reset both buttons. Is this possible? I’d like to have an add to compare button below the product description (option in settings with priority) and a second button below the product info tabs Thanks

Can this same layout been achieved if using a compare page instead of the lightbox?
Because currently, the attribute name is sit on top of the value for each product rather than in the screenshot, it just sit at the far left.

The plugin works on my website www.gerfran.xyz however when you compare 2 products the images are not resized and you cannot read all the specifications… It works if you have 3 products or more.
Moreover it’s impossible to quit the comparaison chart without reloading the page.
