I wanted to use it for a restaurant but in the demo I think some buttons like bill etc is blocked with ios popup blocker. Also if the design can be adjusted for small screen devices it can be better. Some buttons are very small for phones.

Suspended Sale:
1. I can see that you can suspend sale and delete it when closing the till register. Can’t I view a list of suspended sales without closing the till? Can’t I edit and finalize the suspended sale other than deleting it. I looked everywhere but could not find a way to edit suspended sale.
2. Instead of offering discount on sale, is it possible to override the total payable and the system auto calculate the products pricing based on the total overwritten? Another smart way to offer discount.

As of question 2. Lets say the total sale is 100 USD. The buyer only have 95 USD. instead of me to go to discount to apply a discount with the difference (5 usd) is it not possible to just type 95 usd on the total (sale) and the system overwrite the calculated sale to the new manually entered total and then subtract the difference from the products so that the total price match what the client have which is 95 usd. It is just another way to accept discount. We have seen another system doing that.

Another issue worth checking.
When you are on POS and you make sales selecting different payment types like by cash, by cheqeue, by other ….etc. that works fine as sale is completed properly. 1 question here is there is no option for paid by EFT (ELECTRONIC FUNDS TRANSFER). I think this EFT has become very popular and the system should have that option. Another thing, assuming that I select other as my payment type and submit the sale. When you close the register the pos displays the money on hand and all the other payment types however if you have selected other as a payment type that payment type does not appear on the report. check it out

I am referring to the popup that comes up when you close the register. I have attached the screenshot for you to see. Payment made by OTHER is not there, only payment made by cash. Cheque, credit card, and gift-card appears.

Thanks for the wonderful system. So far it has been proven to work perfectly fine.
Please have a look on the following two issues I have discovered.
On POS on the payment page, before you enter the payment amount the system displays a balance in a negative form and write it as balance. After entering the amount, lets say I enter the amount that will require change, the system still says balance but now in positive form. Would it not be user friendly if the system could now change the term BALANCE into CHANGE so that the cashier can understand that the amount displayed THERE NOW is the change and no longer a BALANCE?

Issue 2.
On normal sale on the dashboard:
When adding a normal sale and you apply order discount lets say 100 as a discount. The system do indicate the payable amount at the bottom which is fine however after the payment. When you go back to the same sale under sales list the total payment does not sub-struct the discount. The system still indicate amount paid without applying the discount. if the discount of 100 was 10. The sales was suppose to reflect 90 and not 100 on the sales list. PLease check it out.
Product level discount appears to work fine but order discount is having problems.

I have been testing the tax (VAT) and it appears there is a bug.
On product setting, I tried to set the product to be vat inclusive for example I say product price is R20 vat inclusive (meaning vat is already on the price which if I use 15% is an example is R3)
nOW WHEN i GO TO THE POS AND MAKE A SALE THE POS IS ADDING ANOTHER 15% VAT WHICH MAKES THE PRODUCT PRICE TO BE R23.00 WHICH IS WRONG.
I then went back to the product and make it VAT exclusive the going back to the POS the results are the same it add 15%.
my point is, whether vat is inclusive or exclusive on the pos is adding another vat instead of picking the value of the added vat.
Can you look at that minor bug?

well automatic install isnt working on my web server…it says file not found..where as i have unzipped the whole folder in it…does PHP version matter in it..? on my xampp server it gave me msg of update locked tool…but on live server nothing appeared at all

Pre-Install Checklist Config Folder (app/config/) is not writeable! Config File (app/config/config.php) is not writeable! Database File (app/config/database.php) is not writeable!
Please set the correct permission to the mentioned files/folders. You can change the permission to 777 and after install set them back to 755 for folder and 644 for files. Thank you
