Hi, I have one question if I may: is it possible to set different conversion rate for each category? Let’s say I have the following scenario:
1. I sell socks, and for this category I want to give my customer 1 point for every 10 dollars he spend on shopping. 2. I also sell pants, and for this category I want the user to benefit 1 point for every 20 dollars he spend shopping.
So if he buys socks for 100$ he will earn 10 points. If he buys pants for 100$ – he will earn only 5 points.
Then the user can exchange his every point for 0.50c discount in the shopping cart. So let’s say he now has 100 points on his acocunt, so in the next order he can get a 50$ discount.
Would that all be possible using your plugin?

Currently, We don’t have the exact feature you have described, for the points conversion, we have a global setting which will apply on all the product of your store.
For now, you can assign fixed points to a particular category. Like, you can set 20 points for socks and 30 points for pant.
If a customer purchases a product from socks category then they will get 20 points and if they purchase a product from pant category then they will get 30.

The Points menu isn’t showing up in the My Account page. I have checked the enable setting in general setting tab, after enabling this setting “Points” menu still is not displayed at My account page.

can I set earning & spending rate for points? i.e i want customer will earn 1 point for every dollar he spend on my site. And point value will be equal to $0.05. Overall it will be like he earn 5% for every purchase through reward points

Hi there, I’ve gone through the documentation entirely and can’t find a solution. How do I set it up so that when a user purchases a product they are provided points? Essentially they will earn 1 point for each $1 spent, and then for redemption they will need to redeem 20 points for $1. Any help would be appreciated.

As per your query, You can set 1point for each $1 spent from WooCommerce -> Points and Rewards Manager -> Coupon Settings -> Per $ Points Conversion.
And as per the redemption, it can be done in two ways,
Points and Rewards Manager -> General -> Purchase Points Conversion, here you can set the no. of points to be equivalent to $1 when about to get Redeemed.
Or can be redeemed in the form of Coupon also, Points and Rewards Manager -> Coupon Settings -> Redeem Points Conversion.

How do I remove the discount codes from the customer front end ?
I have removed them from the woo-commerce backend but they are still showing on the front end.

If you want to hide Coupon generation feature from frontend. For that we have provided a setting.
You have to visit WooCommerce > Points and Rewards Manager > Other Setting >Disable Points Conversion. Enable this setting if you want to disable coupon feature.

I am using Woocommerce Currency Convert plugin (https://woocommerce.com/products/currency-converter-widget/) which switches the currency based on the IP of the customer and Woocommerce Points and Rewards (https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-points-and-rewards/), which allows customers to redeem points for discounts. For example, 10 points can be redeemed for a 1 SGD discount.
The problem is that when my customers are buying in other currencies such as RM, they are also getting 10 points for a 1RM discount. The SGD:MYR conversion rate isn’t applying. For example if exchange rate is 1 SGD=3 MYR, and 10 points=1SGD, I’d expect 10points=1SGD=3MYR.
Imagine if a customer were to:
1) purchase the product for RM 89.60 and earn 89 points 2) switch over to SGD and use the 89 points to redeem 89 SGD (instead of RM89 as it should be)
I will be essentially giving away the product and more for free.
Therefore I will require it to award only 28 points for example, whether the product was purchased in SGD for 28SGD or purchased in RM for 89.60RM. In other words, the value of 1 point should be fixed e.g 10 points = 1SGD = RM3.15.
Otherwise, customers can make use of this bug by purchasing in a weaker currency and redeeming the points in a stronger currency.
Does your plugin help in solving such issues?
