Hi, I am experiencing issues with customers being charged more than once on Stripe. This appears to be related to customers clicking the signup/register button more than once during the registration process but it is causing quite a bit of trouble and often extends their membership duration beyond the initial one month and I have to refund them.
I have already added a thank you page for post registration but is there any way to stop this issue occurring?

There is no way for a user to trigger the payment step multiple times during the registration process once that step is started only after the form was properly submitted and user stored into DB.

Hi, I have numerous examples of where this has occurred where multiple customers (and subscriptions) have been created within Stripe with the same email address. There is only 1 level set in IUMP.

The Register form does not even allow to click on submit button if is used an email already available into the website. So, you can no register using the same email address and no charge is done on this case. You can have a try on demo website which takes few seconds.
So, is definitely nothing from UMP side, but if you have any concern, you can request help to support team via Support system.
Sorry but the only way this can occur is from UMP…. it creates one registered user in UMP but creates multiple users (with subscriptions) in Stripe. They all have UMP subscription – ihc_plan_706
The experience in UMP is that the user gets assigned additional months – so instead of purchasing 1 month at a time they purchase x. They compound.
Could this be caused by latency with impatient users clicking multiple times?
I am happily pay for support renewal but to be told it is nothing to do with you would feel like a waste of monies…

UMP sales Subscriptions. If you set one Level for each page, user may buy the right Level to get access on a specific page.
2. Even if the support time for envato items is around 2-3 working days, most of the requests are handled in less than 24hrs.

UMP is a membership system based on Levels and has nothing to do with roles. Each user instead can have multiple levels assigned.

We have a template with Bkary Composer. In your features say fhat the plugin is integrated with Visual Composer.

First, UMP does not come with VC inside, so is not about having 2 composers on the same WP but just comes with some extra options for VC for a easier workflow with it.
Otherwise, from UMP side does not matter what page builder is used.

A recurring charging plan can not be modified or upgraded based on a new level selection. User may have both levels active or he can cancel one get another one.

I just bought this plugin today , as long im in Netherlands , i use only Mollie payment method, the problem is mollie not working !
the proccess that i followed 1- activate mollie method 2- setting Live API key 3- in payment setting choosing mollie as Default Payment Gateway
in the end im getting this message : No Payment Gateway was activated or properly set!
BTW there is no problem with my mollie account and i have my mollie account since 2017

Hello, my clients don’t have paypal, stripe or any other payment gates you mentioned, they can only pay via a mastercard by directly adding the card’s number. Is it possible for them to buy my service via credit cards directly without going through paypal and other payment gates?

Stripe gateway does not require a stripe account but only Credit Card details. Even PayPal has a such option available for some countries. Authorize.net too.

Multisite setup question. I currently use Paid Membership Pro and have the following setup: mydomain.com is a multisite setup. On it I allow you to register and select a membership which determines what plugins you see and how many website you can purchase. So one membership may allow access to 20 plugins and 1 website, while another may show you 50 plugins and allow you to create 3 websites. On another setup I have a multisite containing over 50 sub-sites where if you purchase one membership you’re allowed to create blog posts on either of those sites. On another setup I have sub-domains. So adifferentdomain.com is a membership site. Same for sub1.adifferentdomain.com, sub2.adifferentdomain.com.
All of this is controlled by PMP and their multisite add-ons. This setup works perfectly accept I can no longer afford the updates due to their pricing model having become a ridiculous money grab forcing me to seek alternatives.
Is there any scenario where I wouldn’t be able to use this plugin as a replacement? Any responses appreciated.

The UMP Register form may be linked only with payment gateways enabled into UMP system and not to specific Woo products. You may redirect the user after registration to the Woo products list in order to choose one and complete the checkout.

Otherwise, my business model is a school that sells courses to its students. Is it really necessery tu upgrade my Regular Licence to Extended Licence to be able to sell that courses legally ?

Hi, I purchased your product but I have never used it (the project I was working was scrapped). Now I am being subcontracted by another company to provide a client a similar solution. I installed the plugin and I see there is a trial version: what are the limitations of this trial version? We need the plugin just to enable a login page outside wp-login.php (since it is hidden for security purpouses), and we need to restritc pages and redirect users according to wp role, to different pages (when logged in).
The idea is to test the plugin in beta mode, and if it works, we can request the client to buy a new license. (I cannot and I dont want to use mine… besides the web design company that is hiring me will want to buy the license themselves).

You can accomplish those even on trial stage. Also, you may enable the license and remove it later if you want for a full access to all features.

you mention EVERYWHERE any content or page! oh, how cool! I need to provide membership, right? The more expensive membership is, the more features the user can use. Most expensive PLATINUM membership (omg, I must send you pictures, give me a minute or two) member can use all of the plugins available. Other members can use limited amount of plugins (functions) this is the main frame for membership website and the basic one I know. OK, so AFAIKU it is not for this scenario at all. and you know – it is ULTIMATE – it can do everything. and you know – I would buy it at the moment – it looks so cool. and actually – useless.
