Hi, I just downloaded the latest version of md_slider for Drupal 7, which is 7.x-2.25. What I want to be able to do is link directly to a particular slide within a slider. So if I want to send an email with a link directly to the 3rd slide of my slider, for instance, is there a way to include a link that links directly to slide 3 (That is – the slider will open with slide 3 already on top)?
I know in the past there wasn’t a way to do this, but from some things I’ve read online maybe in this latest version of md_slider this is possible?

Yes, this feature is not available now. However, you can add custom js into your theme js file. You can add parameter to url of the page which includes slider like this: http://prntscr.com/mad717.
The custom js should be run after slider is created. If you are not sure, you can use function setTimeout or function setInterval to check variation window.listMegaSlide[slider_index]

You may not use Google fonts (do not declare google fonts link in config page), and use the available fonts of your own site. When editing sliders, you add class name in “CSS Class”, and write style for that class in file css of your theme

Thank you for your concern. Our latest version does not have this problem. You can ask you theme author to update our newest module. However, we check the link above and see it’s a full-screen slider, meanwhile our slider only supports full-width, not full height. So, your theme author may customize our slider and this causes problem

In changelog and on your website you mentioned now support youtube videos. I found a link background video in slide settings, but some youtube links, which I have tested does not work. Can you give a short description or example how it works. Thx

Yes, video background is now supported in Mega Slider version for Drupal7. However, it’s not youtube or vimeo video. You should insert the url which links directly to video on your local/server. Thank you

Drupal update is still seeing 7.x-2.19 as the latest version.
Also 7.x-2.22 breaks features. See line 495 in md_slider.module. This is a new line that was introduced.
The default_hook of install is kicking off the hook_install of every module. To reproduce, put the contact module as a feature. Since contact_install() does a row insert, calling the hook_install causes a constraint error when you go to recreate a feature.

The release history notes still indicate v2.19 as the latest so the update page thingks v2.22 is out of date.
Please do not worry about this. This wont affect MD Slider function. This might be because of some minor mistake when we pack the module
we have up updated a drupal 7 with security patches only and the thumbnails stopped showing (the thumbnail box does appear but with no image … the html after inspection does not contain img tag) ... we have updated md_slider to latest 2.22 (as part of the theme latest update download) but even after clear cache or disabling thumbs and then reenabling them the thumb boxes are empty, the error logs don’t show anything … where could we look an indication ?
NOTE: MD slider was purchased together with a drupal 7 theme but I am not the person who bought the theme but I am the current maintainer of the site.

We check our demo again and see no problem as you reported. You can choose thumbnail style in configure, and add thumbnail images in edit slider. However, thumbnail wont show at back end. when you check front end, you will see it

Hi, I have drupal 8.4, jquery 3 and mega slider 8.x-1.1. I would like to tell you that I detected another bug with transition effect that didn’t happen in 8.x-1.0 beta versions: in a slide configured with background image (slide with objects or without objects, is indifferent) and with transition effect, for example, top curtain, when the slideshow is played, at the end of the transition (animation), the background image doesn´t remain fix and has a small movement. I cannot post on forum that is why I put a comment here. Thank you.

Hi, Why is so difficult to obtain the latest version, 8.x-1.1, that now appears also on logs (Oct 20, 2017) and resolves the bugs with background color?! I asked again the porto drupal theme author and they are saying they still see version 8.x-1.0 with last change on 09 October 17. Could you provide me this latest version? or to the author? This plugin comes packaged with Porto theme. When the slideshow starts, the text flashes in the top left of the slide before disappearing and then appearing properly as set in the timeline. The effects are clunky, and definitely not smooth. How do I fix this?
