Hi. Just bought the plugin and it’s working fine. The only thing is I try to remove day name and it’s not working when using date=”” in the shortcode. Also, default display is weird. It displays two days and day name by default. I have to use days=”0” in order to display only one day. Thanks

If you want to remove the date display, you need to add a blank space in the parameter, like this date=” ”. If you want to display just the current day, yes, you need to use days=0. The days in the parameter are additional to the current day. All the best.
Hi and thanks for your reply. Working now. Another thing: I’m using the widget on a page. Everything is in french but on hover, humidity, clouds and winds are still in english. Is there a way to have them in french too?
The days of the week strings should be automatically translated in your WP install language. As for strings like Humidity, Wind, Clouds, etc. you need to use a translation solution, as you can translate them from the language file. All the best.

I can’t seem to get the auto location to work in the shortcode. It does not show any information. The other shortcodes I have on my page based on latitude and longitude work fine. I did notice that an error is showing up on the page when adding the auto location shortcode.

If you haven’t made any changes, such an issue should be related to API settings. Please check at Settings > Simple Weather > OpenWeather / Dark Sky > API Key if you have a working API. You can also try creating a new one. If you can’t fix it through the API settings, please open a ticket with WP login info and we will investigate. All the best.

With the new version, we’ve added an option in Settings which allows you to use your own API for geolocation. This should fix the issue you are encountering. Please update the plugin, add an API and it should work fine. All the best.

I’ve just purchased and installed, but the widget I’ve set up is just a blank square. Everything seems to be set up correctly. but it’s just not showing any data. I’m on a local install, so I can’t share a link. Any thoughts on how to resolve?
Looks like there’s an issue because I’m using All-in-one Intranet plugin:

This type of issues are usually related to the API connection. Yes, it is possible for the lazy load settings to fix such an issue, as it will load the weather in page after your other content and might avoid the API connection issue. This could also be related to your local install, so when you go live you might be fine without lazy load also. All the best.

I’m working on a “tourist places” directory in which all places are getting added to our websites as posts. In each of these “places” posts, I would like to display the weather widget, corresponding to that place.
There is n no. of places listings and each of these listings is having a weather widget inside post area(not widget area)

Just purchased the plugin only to find out that: a) the widget doesn’t work (doesn’t show up at all, now matter where I place it and how I configure it) b) the shortcode does work, but it’s not responsive at all, so it looks rubbish

If the shortcode works fine, then the widget issue should be related to its settings. As for the shortcode responsiveness, it should inherit settings from the theme section where you place it, just like regular text content. Please open a ticket with both these issues and we will take a look. For refund requests, you need to contact Envato, as they deal with all payments. All the best.
Well, the thing is that it doesn’t :/ There’s definitely a bug somewhere, because the shortcode itself actually doesn’t work properly: - the simplest shortcode shows two days instead of one (and if I choose a number of days – it adds an extra one) - the responsiveness is there for every other shortcode except for yours, so it evidently doesn’t inherit anything
