Hi, so I went DarkSky route, just wondering about the shortcode, I need to have lat & long & I van use all the other attributes like the openweather shortcode, just lat and long is the difference? The station, and api, do they need to be in there as well?

Yes, with Dark Sky you need to set the location through coordinates and a Dark Sky API. You can set the API and the default station in the Settings panel also. All the best.

Yeah OpenWeather have actually lost the plot, if I even visit their website and enter some locations in Ireland they dont even show up, lunatics! Was working fine up until a week or two ago.
Example – Wexford (Irish: Loch Garman) they will only accept Loch Garman, if I approched EVERY person in Ireland and asked where that was 1 person out of 4 million+ wouldnt give me the right answer. Wexford was working a few weeks ago, as far as I am aware, plus other places are using other names NOBODY would know now too.

Have you tried our second weather station, Dark Sky? For this weather station you need to set the location through latitude and longitude coordinates. Please try Dark Sky and you might get more accurate forecasts. All the best.
Its not really possible as I am getting businesses to enter Locations ie their town etc I have just seen your update with the settings page, would be great if we could set days to show, day/night etc generally the shortcode settings in that settings page, then I can get over the location detail and just update those

All of a sudden stopped working. I uninstalled and installed the new version but the weather still does not show up. I tried both open weather and dark sky.

I have recently upgraded Wordpress to 4.9 and the weather disappeared off my site. I see you uploaded a new version so I download the package and updated it on my site. The weather will still not show up. Checking my error console the script says it can not find the city. I have tried the city many different ways and even tried the standard London shortcode, no luck. I use the Openweather API with the plugin. Please let me know what I’m missing.

While I absolutely love what this plugin can do for my site and how great you make it look, I’m EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS when I do updates for my plugins on live sites before I can see what the update is about.
That said, may I ask why you do not provide a “Change List” summary of updates between versions right here on your product page on Envato?
From my own purchasing experience, I prefer to buy from developers who keep a log of how the plugin has improved. With this particular plugin I may have jumped the gun and purchased by looks alone – which is never really a good idea.
I know you have the best intentions when you provide an update, so please don’t think I’m questioning your validity. However I would feel enlightened to quickly adapt and give instant word of mouth sales to others in my field for your works if I knew the update path you were on.

The new version should not affect your page load, we actually rewritten the plugin in Vue JS, which should make it faster. You can try setting the lazy load, at Settings > Simple Weather > General > Lazy Load Weather. Depending on your set up, this might make your page load faster. As for changes being lost, please open a ticket with more details. This might be related to recent changes in the Open Weather API and not to our updates. All the best.

Unfortunately, we can’t help with this. It is related to the way you auto generate the page content, if you can find a solution to add shortcodes, with custom location, in each page. All the best.

The widget isn’t working for us. The problem we get is that the widget displays the language tab twice after refreshing the page, we tried disabeling everything, switching themes but nothing worked.
The widget works at first but bugs out after a short while/refreshing the page.
