Hi couple of questions;
1. Is there a filter I can use to tweak html output of this plugin or manually display it on the page? 2. Is there an option to show the field by default and avoid ajax/javascript fade-load in. 3. We display the variation option after the upload field; changing the variation reloads the upload field. Can this be deactivated too?
Thanks in advance
- No, unfortunately there isn’t any filter for that.
- to avoid the ajax loading for variations, in the Visibility tab -> Show the upload field for each product on cart/order uncheck the Display the upload field for every product variation .
- this will be avoided once you performed the previous step
let me know if you need further help
Thanks for 2 and 3. I have managed to work around point 1. Thanks.
You’re welcome

Hi another question – after saving general settings the position of the upload field has moved to near the checkout button. How can I switch it back to default position (above form)?
Hi,
you can set that position through the Options menu: https://www.dropbox.com/s/h3dj7fzcfhyjhnt/wcuf_checkout.jpg?dl=0
Love this plugin. Is it possible to make the file upload visible and mandatory for some products, and visible but NOT mandatory for other products?
Hi,
Thank you for your appreciation!
Yes it is possible.
To do that however you have to create different copies of the same field (use eventually the “duplicate” button). For each enable/disable the mandatory option according to your needs and under the Visibility tab -> Product/Category Select the product for which the current field will be visible: restrictionhttps://www.dropbox.com/s/866nn2xesleg369/wcuf_visibility.jpg?dl=0
In this way some products will have it mandatory and some no
Hello! Have you a german language Support or Document for my Upload File install? Hallo!

hello Author,
we got problem with upload performance , wait for long to loading… and upload, I checked when cached with WP Super Cache, but slow also Can you help me power up speed of upload loading.
most of page cache and fast , but your upload plugin i bought is slow
Hi,
unfortunately this kind of issues are related to server performance issues. The plugin, as can be seen in the demo site, runs without any performance issue if run in a proper hardware.
The plugin in order to set up its subcomponents and to implement its features has to perform some computations.
Computations don’t come at zero cost, so if the software is executed in a poor performance server (like a virtual shared web hosting service) the user may experience some slowdowns especially if it used in conjunction with other plugins.
This is why hosting companies offers several hardware solutions at different costs.
The experienced issue is related to a server performance issue, so the user should contact the server maintainer to see if any performance boost is possible or eventually consider to switch to a more powerful solution.
Hi vanquish,
Recently I’ve updated the plugins with the lastest one v43.0. But now the upload file field is not showing on my product page. There are JS script errors here:
ReferenceError: wcuf_show_upload_field_area is not defined /wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-upload-files/js/wcuf-frontend-cart-checkout-product-page.js.php?ver=4.9.8:76:2 HTMLDocument.() /wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:2:27449 i() /wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:2:28213 Object.fireWith [as resolveWith]() /wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:2:30006 Function.ready() /wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:2:30368 HTMLDocument.K()
I’ve tried disabled all other plugins other than Woocommerce (latest version) and your plugin (v43.0) but same issue still happens.
Please help.. Thank you
It seems that for some reasons your installation is not properly loading the wcuf-frontend-ui-manager.js library where it is defiend the function reported in the error log.
Could you check if that file is present in the js folder inside the plugin? Can you try directly accessing. Just type in the browser url: www.yourdomain.com/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-upload-files/js/wcuf-frontend-ui-manager.js and report me if you are able to access it.
where www.yourdomain.com is the url of your site.
Try also to purge both server and browser caches.
Hi, thanks for your quick reply.. I’ve tried to access it and it load properly.
Here’s my domain: http://www.dotprintingsolution.com/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-upload-files/js/wcuf-frontend-ui-manager.js
You can check here on my product page: http://dotprintingsolution.com/product/brosur/ that there is a js error on when I checked it.
Please help since I need to demo to my client by tomorrow. I can provide you FTP or wp-admin access if you need to
Thank you
Thank you for sharing the page.
I’ve noticed that your server has some issue on loding that .js https://www.dropbox.com/s/nvsp4eotkdrlqcv/wcuf_server_loading_issue.jpg?dl=0
But I was not able to see the error you reported. Is any upload field enabled for that page?
However If you send me via private message (click on my name and then use the low-right box) the following data:- you email address
- Full admin access to the wp-admin area
- a FTP access
- a detailed step by step guide on how to experience the issue
I can try to perform a clean installation of the plugin and eventually see if it is possible to have more clues about the server issue.
Yes, I’ve it enabled on product page. Previously before I made an update it was fine (previous version is v38 if I remembered correctly..
Here a screenshot that show the js error log: http://prntscr.com/lu227m
I will create the credential that you need and pm you as well
Unfortuantely that screenshot doesn’t help to much. That function is defined in the file I report earlier. However from the debug console screenshot I reported in the previous comment, it seems that for some reasons your server is not able to properly serve the file.
This most likely is a server issue, once I’ll have the accesses if it possible I’ll try to see if I can give more clues on how to fix it.
I’ve sent to you the wp-admin & FTP access. Please kindly to check..
Thanks again.
Got it, check your inbox!
Hi I’ve checked it and now the upload field is showing perfectly! Thank you!
But somehow my uploaded file is not showing on order detail page via Woocommerce Order menu page. It shows as “Customer hasn’t uploaded any file…yet.”
Is there any configuration that I missed maybe?
Please do not post same message in different channels, otherwise for me is hard to keep track of your session
Check your inbox, I’ve replyed there!
I have activated plugin on my test domain to prepare websites for my client, and actually i cant activate plugin on main websites now becouse “Max number of domains reached! You have to purchase a new license. The current license has been activated in the following domains: domain1.com, domain2.com”
Can I delete this domain1 now and switch for new one? That was just a site in dev environment and needed to do this.
Hi,
no unfortuantely Envato license doesn’t allow you to do that. It actually It allows you to use the product in just one web site, not one web site at time.
The WooCommerce Upload Fields grant however a second domain usage only for testing purpose. For each domain, it can be activated in unlimited subdomains.
The number of usable domain is clearly reported in the activation page. Once both domains have been consumed, a new license has to be purchased.
First of all great plugin. One problem if you can please help…
I am only displaying the file upload on my checkout page and it is set as a required field.
The problem is when I have a required field it stops the “Add to cart” button from displaying on my product list page (fine on product details page).
I have “Disable “View” button feature set as “False”.
How do I get my “Add to cart” button show again on product listing pages again?
Hi,
thank you very much for your appreciation
It seems that for some reasons your theme is not fully WooCommerce compliant and it is not properly managing the rendering of the “Add to cart” buttons in the shop page. This may cause the plugin to not be able to hook during that process and render the view or add to cart button according to the selected options
As you can see for example in the demo site, the shop page properly displays the add to cart button if the “view” feature is disabled.
To avoid that issue, try editing the WCUF_Cart.php file and comment line 31. This completely removes the “view” feature. Let me know!
Thanks for the quick reply. However that doesn’t fix the issue. Can you let me know an email where I can send further details. I’m using this theme: https://themeforest.net/item/woodmart-woocommerce-wordpress-theme/20264492
It sounds very strange. Because that is the action that ovverrides the standard “add to cart” button managment on the shop page. Commenting it, it should work.
Could you try purging the browser and eventually the server cache (if you are using any caching plugin)? Disabling the upload field, are you still experiencing the issue?
If you send me via private message (click on my name and then use the low-right box) the following data:- you email address
- Full admin access to the wp-admin area
- a FTP access
- a detailed step by step guide on how to experience the issue
Thanks. I will send a direct message. Cache doesn’t seem to be causing the issue and only happens when required fields.
Thank you, got it! Please check your inbox!
Issue. Resolved. Many thanks for your quick response and sorry for my mistake! Great support! 5 Stars coming your way!
Thank you again
Hi, I purchased this plugin and I would like to know How I can redesign the style ofit. I would like that a box in the middle of a page, underneath attributes and the in the middle the upload button. Once the customer upload his image, it appears on the box…is that possible?
Also I can figure out why the upload button won’t appear when I create a product? I use the code [wcuf_upload_form] and [wcuf_product_page_upload_form] separetely… but once I have tested filling the attributes & variations..the upload button won’t show…
please help!
thank you
Hi,
unfortunately, the style cannot be customized.
For what concerns the upload field appearance, make sure that you have configured it to be visible in the product page and before the product is added to cart.
Edit the upload field options through the green button and in the Visibility tab enable the options to display it in the product page before it is added to cart. Enable also the option to display it for every variation: https://www.dropbox.com/s/2qp6z783sihkgmw/wcuf_settings.jpg?dl=0
Through the general Options menu, you can change the default position of the upload area: https://www.dropbox.com/s/vyln0lebpgjj2gk/wcuf_options.jpg?dl=0
If you want to use the [wcuf_product_page_upload_form] shortcode (that is the only one that you can use in the product page), you have first to disable the standard management for the upload fields in the product page. go into the Options menu and in the Disable upload field standard managment area select the Product pages options: https://www.dropbox.com/s/21kl98wh5g89wdf/wcuf_options_2.jpg?dl=0
“For what concerns the upload field appearance, make sure that you have configured it to be visible in the product page and before the product is added to cart.” can you explain me how to do that? thank you!
It is reported in the comment. I report again here:
Edit the upload field options through the green button and in the Visibility tab enable the options to display it in the product page before it is added to cart. Enable also the option to display it for every variation: https://www.dropbox.com/s/2qp6z783sihkgmw/wcuf_settings.jpg?dl=0
Thinking about using this plugin over File Upload fields in some Product Addon/Option plugins. Primarily because there seems to be control over the content being uploaded. Need to know two things: 1. Is it possible to only make visible for specific attribute value, ex. color blue, across all products? 2. Since we use Attach Me .. is possible to share the same folder structure by Order ID. Would make it easier to discover/navigate?
- unfortuantely there isn’t any option to create fields for specific attributes. You can create fields or specific variations but not for specific attributes
- yes the structure is already similar. Uploaded files are stored in the wp-content/wcuf/{order_id} folder
Hello,
I am using your Woocommerce Upload Files Configurator for a couple of months and I am happy with it.
However, now, I tried to upload several Upload fields. After adding about 10, the 11th is no longer appearing. I tried several times, but with no avail. It’s as if I’ve reached the limit. Is there a limit to the number of fields I can create?
Thanks.
Hi,
no the plugin hasn’t any limit. This issue is related to a server misconfiguration that avoids all posted data to be saved.
Please edit your PHP.ini and look for the max_input_vars variable . Raise it to greater value than the current one (it usually is 10000, so raise to that value or a greater like 15000 or 20000). Once done save and restart your server. Check if the modification took effect checking the Check the WooCommerce -> Status -> PHP Max Input Vars menu.
Once done you should be able to save the new fields.

Hey there,
Regarding printing “uploads details sheet,” I see that you can do this easily with a single product, however can you please assist me in allowing this option for printing these sheets for a bulk amount of products.
This is very important to have this feature…
Hi,
I’m sorry but unfortunately, the plugin hasn’t any feature to allow bulk printing of the sheets for multiple orders.
Is it possible for us to pay for this feature.
I’m sorry, but unfortuantely I do not offfer any customization service. Would it help if I put the “Uploads details sheet” button for each order directly in the orders list page inside the “uploads” column?
Yes that would be fantastic
ok good news, I’ve just released the new 43.0 version that now displays the “Details sheet” for each order in the orders list page: https://www.dropbox.com/home/public/support/screenshot-vanquishplugins.com-2018.12.10-19-04-23.jpg !
I hope you enjoy!
If so, please consider leaving the 5 stars, I would reeeally appreciate!

Have a good night!
We just updated to the new version and now the uploader does not show on any product.
This is urgent
What do you mean that the upload doesn’t show on any product page? Have you altered the uploader configuration or installed/updated any 3rd party plugin that may be interfering? Could you try purging your browser and server cache?
As you can see from the demo site that runs the latest version, the upload is properly showed as it should be. Without any further clue, it is quite hard to determine the cause.
Have you properly updated the plugin? To receive as an automatic update by installing and configuring the Envato updater plugin: https://goo.gl/pkJS33 (here the guide that explains how to configure: https://envato.com/market-plugin/ ). In alternative, you can just deactivate and delete it. The reinstall, you won’t lose any setting.
If you send me via private message (click on my name and then use the low-right box) the following data:- you email address
- Full admin access to the wp-admin area
- a FTP access
- a detailed step by step guide on how to experience the issue
We have sent the email
Got it, check your inbox.
We believe it was sent to the wrong email. please send to info@thepetplug.shop
Yes, my bad. please check your inbox now.
Users can no longer purchase items that have photo uploads. When you click Place Order, an error message appears that says “Invalid Items added to cart.”
If I deactivate your plugin (meaning no photos are uploaded), the order goes through just fine. Any suggestions?
Website is Dear Peanut dot com
I’m sorry but unfortuantely without any further clue, it is quite hard to determine the cause.
Could you try disabling the other 3rd party plugins and see if you still experience the issue? if not, could you enable one by one until you find the interfering one? Please make also sure to be using the latest 42.7 plugin version.
It’s weird because it worked two months ago. What version of woocommerce do you recommend for your plugin? I have 3.4.3
It sounds strange then that it suddenly stopped working without having altered anything ( its code, installed new plugins, updated old ones, altered server configuration, etc.)
Try updating the plugin to the latest 42.7 version and eventually try also updating WooCommerce to the latest 3.5.2 version (note that the 3.5.X version is mandatory if you plan to update WordPress to the upcoming 5.0 version)
Hello, we have just extended our support for a problem that requires urgent attention. What we have found out is that for products where uploads are required, about 3-5% of the time have no upload attached in the order summary, and nothing uploaded to our dropbox as well. We have however maybe found the source of the problem as about 95% of those orders have been from PayPal IPN payments leading us to believe that this is a good start to find the source of the problem however we have had 1 order where it happened and it was through a stripe payment. We would love to send screenshots but are obviously unable through this comment. There is also a separate error happening with the Admin Dashboard but it is not game breaking and we are more focused on the no upload being attached problem and ask if we can get immediate support as we have a live ecommerce site. Thanks.
Hi,
this kind of issue usually happens when the user is not properly landing on the thank you page. This may happen because he cancels the order or due to a custom payment workflow.
To avoid this, go to the Options page and under the Checkout – Files to order association method option select the Whenthe order is placed option.
hi, I have purchased this plugin today to implement the multiple files uploads during checkout. But my problem starts at the very beginning while activating the plugin. After successful activation, it again comes to activate the plugin and because of that, I am not able to able to process further.
Please check the concern.
Hi,
what do you mean that “it again comes to activate the plugin”? Could you be more detailed about this step and the issue you are getting? Are you referring to the Purchase code verification? If so, just enter your username and purchase code. Make also sure that you are using a fully HTML5 compliant browser like Chrome or FireFox.
Hi. We would like to buy your item but in the demo page we can’t find the posibility to upload files like is mentioned in the documentation. The upload is only possible in the product page.
Thank you.
Hi,
to set the field page visibility, click on the field option button and under the Visibility tab -> Page & form area, select the pages in which it has to be displayed: https://www.dropbox.com/s/9di00hw85vbv4bt/wcuf_visibility.jpg?dl=0
Where can we find this settings in your demo page?
Click on the Upload files configutator menu, it will redirect to the field editor page. In there you can create new fields or edit the existing ones.
I think you don’t understand my question. I am asking you about the things said in the documentation line: Posibility to upload files in the Checkout, Cart and Order Pages Upload. I can’t find the possibility to upload files for products in the Cart, Checkout or order page..only in the Product page. That’s what I’m asking..not extra fields or something like that. Thank you in advance.
Maybe you don’t understand my answer and how the plugin works.
By default, once a field is created, it allows to upload a file for any product through its product page. If you to display the upload area in any other page page, just enable the visibility option I’ve reported in the previous comment for the pages you need.
In this way the created field, will display an upload area for each product in cart in the selected pages.
Yeap, I’ve now added and extra field and setup the Visibility options like they should for all the pages. This plugin is all we need. Thanks for you fast answers. All the best!
You’re welcome
We bought the plugin. Please advice us how can we change the “Warning You must accept the disclaimer” Popup text? Thank you. We can’t find the text in the “Texts” settings of the plugin neather in the Loco Translate for the Module.
Thank you very much for purchasing.
That string is a static string and have to be translated using the .mo file for your langauge (if not existing, creat it using the .pot file). I’ve checked the .pot file and I was able to find that text: https://www.dropbox.com/s/abz6cvaibo48nn7/wcuf_disclaimer_text.jpg?dl=0
To translate eventually try using this tool: https://poedit.net/ opend the .pot file, select your language, translate the text and then save. It will create a .po and .mo file that you have to save back into the language folder.
Thanks for your answer. We didn’t managed to translate that but we will disable that checkbox. Another question is regarding the positioning of the Upload pannel..can we put the pannel after the product options? And if yes, how?
Yes, you can set a different position. Click the “Options” menu and under the” Field positioning” area, in the “Products page option” chose one of the available positions.
THX a lot! Problem solved. Cheers.
Very glad to hear that
If you enjoyed efforts to support and/or my plugin please consider leaving the 5 stars, I would really appreciate!

Have a great weekend!
I am using your plugin with storefront theme. I want the upload field to show up on product page before adding to cart. I have tried several diferrent settings and it will not. I also tried to make it show on the cart page, can’t get the plugin to do that either. Pkease help me with this issue.
Hi,
unfortuantely without any furtherclue it is quite hard to determine the cause.
It could depend on a 3rd party plugin interference or just on a misconfiguration.
Few questions: Have you enabled thorugh the Visibility tab the options to display the fields in the product page (with the option to show it before adding to cart) and in the cart page? Have you enabled any option to restrict the field visibility (like for Payment gateway, Order status and so on)? If so, disable those options.
Let me know.
No worries, I got it working like I need it to. I had to make changes to the single products on “Upload files configurator” visibility options. Thanks anyways.
Glad to read that
You’re welcome.
Have a great day!
Hello, I wanted to add a feature to upload files through the order details in the admin panel. To give the option to the shop manager to upload files to the order. Can I hire you for doing this job for me?
Thanks, Itay
Hi Itay,
I’m sorry but unfortunately, I do not offer any customization service.
However, for this purpose, you can give a check to this plugin of mine WooCommerce Attach Me!. It allows the shop manager to attach any files to the order. Those files will be downloadable through the order details page by the user.
Hello. I have installed your plugin but it makes my product pages very slow to load. The products images in particular are slow to load since installing your plugin. Are there any settings to set the file upload plugin to load after page load and not before page load?
Hi,
no unfortuantely the plugin hasn’t such a feature. The plugin sets up while the page is rendered server side injecting its components into the page.
To do this the plugin performs some computations and computations don’t come at zero cost. If the software in exectuted in a poor performance server (like a virtual shared web hosting service) in conjuction with other software, this may lead to slowdowns. This is why hosting companies offers several hardware solutions at different costs.
For this you should consider switching to a more powerful hosting service or try a caching plugin .
Hi,
Just purchased this plugin however it is saying ‘Purchase code is invalid!’ when i try to download it
Hi,
try validating the purchase code using a fully HTML5 compliant browser like Chrome and FireFox. Make also sure that you have not mistyped your username and/or the purchase code.
Hey… after i put in my licence for this my site stopped working… 500 error. Please help….
I had to delete plugin from CPANEL to get site to work. Will this work once site goes to a live site?
Without any further clue it is quite hard to determine the cause.
Try enabling the WordPress debug mode and debug log ( https://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress ) and reactivate the plugin. See if any further clue it is reported while accessing the site on screen and/or in the debug.log located in the wp-content/ folder.
Once done, please report me.
ok… I’ve re-uploaded but now it won’t activate… giving me this error…
Fatal error: Can’t use function return value in write context in /home5/bevmitco/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-upload-files/classes/com/WCUF_Option.php on line 608
Thanks.
It seems that you are using a old PHP version. As reported in the plugin description page, it requires a minimum 5.5 version.
