Hello!
Looks great! Does the filter use Ajax to load more items for a request or does it work only with items which are already on an HTML page? GLWS!
Hi Lemonade,
You can configure the filter to have a minimum amount of boxes loaded, so if the amount is less it will try to load more boxes from that filter.
In short yes, the filters are able to load more boxes if needed

Hi there,
How do I download the latest update? I tried downloading the one from today, but it still shows the same version in the Plugins. It says 1.0.
Hi,
Currently the latest version is 1.0 in couple days v1.1 will be ready
Best, David
Hi David, Thank you! Do you have an update on the new update? Sorry to be a pest, it’s just I’m developing a website and the clients are asking for an update from me. I really like your plugin, but I was hoping the new update would include more work on the Source tab with the Custom Media Gallery.
Hi,
Actually the part where you can create your own categories and assign it to the images (from custom-media-gallery) is ready, I just haven’t release v1.1 since I’m also adding couple of other things, but you can contact me via email here: https://codecanyon.net/user/castlecode#contact and I’ll gladly send you v1.1 with this change on the custom media gallery
how does that sound?
Best, David
Hi, now with the latest update you can create your own categories for the “Custom Media Gallery”, you can see how here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m2O3idiHIW8

Hi, please make a brief description of how to create a MASONRY GALLERY with CPT UI post type. Thanks in advance.
Hi,
Here you can see how: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hnEdgzt4pHU
I hope it makes sense
Thank you very much for your help. Useful plugin and great support!
thank you
I cant place a popup with iframe directing to a site. Can you help me or do you have a guide with this part? Thanks
Hi there,
Go to the post you wish to add the popup with an iframe, then set the “popup type” to “iframe” and below write the link to the page you wish to display in the iframe, like this:
http://www.castlecodeweb.com/files/plugins_comments/5.png
I hope it makes sense
Thanks!
I haven’t all of that options

It should be in all post and post types, any chance you could give me access to your WP so I can inspect it and see what’s going on?
You can contact me privately via email here: https://codecanyon.net/user/castlecode#contact

ready, can you confirm me?
thank you, I got it, lets continue via email for better support
Thankyou!
can we design a single post or product page with this?
Thanks
Hi,
I don’t quite understand this, can you explain a little bit more? each media-box can link to a post, but the design it’s up to your theme

I’ve just purchased your plugin. Looks nice so far.
How do I create Filters when i was choosing the media as Custom Media Gallery? I don’t see a way to add filters to the pictures ..
Thanks
Hi,
thank you
Currently the custom-media-gallery option doesn’t support filters, but I will add it in the next update (coming soon)
Best, David
hi david! ajjj for exactly that purpose i bought that plugin. to have a photograllery with filters. what do you mean with soon???
Hi,
this update will be ready in less than one week, meanwhile you can use custom post types in order to have a photo gallery with filters, that’s exactly what I used for this example: http://www.castlecodeweb.com/wp-mediaboxes/masonry-gallery/
Best, David
oh thats amazing!!!!! thanks so much for the quick reply!!
another question .. I’ve just tested the plugin for the shop as well as it has so much nice features. in my theme (as at others too) when i hover a product image in the shop list I get another image shown of that product (of the gallery of the product) .. I really nice that feature as it directly shows more of the product. is there a way to do that with media boxes too?
what do you mean with using custom post types? > using portfolio (and having to add each picture as a portfolio entry) ?
Hi,
1) About the shop I’m guessing you are using woocommerce? if so the plugin is not quite ready to support that (that’s why isn’t listed as part of its features), I’m definitely thinking to add some features for it in a future update (maybe in a couple of updates).
2) Yes, also you can create a new custom-post-type so you don’t use the “portfolio”, here’s how to do it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kxdD19Yo1FM

Hi,
What is the best way to talk about support?
Thanking you!
Hi,
The best way would be via email, there’s a contact form in my profile at the bottom
Best, David
Emailed you mate
just answered
Hey there, first of all you released this just when I needed it (thank you) my current 3 column layout is displaying in two columns. I’ve tried adjusting the padding etc., changing the thumbnail size, but no luck. Any idea what could be causing this. Can provide link if needed
Hi,
I’m happy to hear that you found this
Yes, please send me a link so I can take a look at it, you can contact me privately via email here: https://codecanyon.net/user/castlecode#contact
Best, David
Hi, I’m trying to create a “custom media gallery” I have created a skin and have followed the directions. But when the gallery is displayed the thumbnails are all black. Clicking the image produces a lightbox image… but all the thumbnails are black. I can provide an url if need be. Thanks, Greg
Hi Greg,
Yes, please send me a link so I can see what’s going on, you can contact me privately via email here: https://codecanyon.net/user/castlecode#contact
I’ll be happy to solve this issue
Best, David
sent you an email with the CSS fix, let me know how it goes
Thanks,
That fixed the images not showing. But not the icon issue
Also 3 more questions. Sorry 1. How do I get spacing between rows? 2. How do change the color of the filter buttons (default red) not seeing the options in the Skins section 3. How do I add categories to the images so the filters work? I created the filters and added them to the layout tab…” I just don’t see the option to assign a filter category to an image in the Media Library
Thanks in advance for your help, Greg
Hi Greg,
try again with this CSS instead of the other one:
.media-box-image div[data-width][data-height] img{
margin-bottom: auto !important;
}
.media-box [class^=icon-]:before{
font-family: inherit !important;
}
1) Navigate to the admin section of the portfolio and go to the “Grid” tab, in there you’ll see 2 settings named “Horizontal space” and “Vertical space”, you can increase or decrease the value
2) and 3) at this moment the custom-media-gallery doesn’t support filter/categories, only posts and custom-post-types, but in the next update I’ll add the ability to assign tags/categories to the custom-media-gallery
Best, David
Hi Dave,
Icon issue resolved. Thank you.
But as you can see from this screenshot I have the Vertical space set to 30px. But something is overriding or ignoring the setting
https://atlantiscustompoolssc.com/screenshot.jpgThe theme I am using is the Oshine theme. It has 21,000 sales so it is very popular
Greg
Hi Greg,
Ohh I see, it seems to be another CSS conflict, I inspect the code closer and found out that it is coming from a plugin that you currently have named “Tatsu”, I think they have a typo in their CSS code so they are targeting all elements in the page (not just the ones from their plugin)
but don’t worry just add this peace of CSS for the 30px vertical space:
.media-box>.media-box-container{
margin-bottom: 30px !important;
}
I’ll add this rules as part of the plugin in case somebody else run into this same CSS conflict
Best, David
Thank you. Tasu is the built-in Page builder for the Oshine theme. So if any of the 21,000 theme Oshine licenses use your plugin. They will have the same issue. Tasu (page builder) has a built in portfolio and image gallery module. Their is probably css class name conflicts. Thank you for all your help. Greg
Ohh alright, I’ll add the rules I gave you to the plugin so it doesn’t conflict with it for others
Hi there, just purchased your plugin yesterday after you’ve told me it’s now available for WP (great!). However when looking at the support docs, I was trying to import the existing skins and portfolios so I don’t have to do them from scratch, but looking into the downloadable files they are not in there in any of the folders. Can you help?
Also, I’m interested mostly in the multiple filters option. I see that the live demo version is just rudimentary to show it works (with the squares, circles and triangles and colors), but I understand that you can still create a full grid gallery or a masonry gallery and still include the multi filters?
This would be exactly why I bought your plugin!
Thanks, look forward to your response.
Omar
Hi Omar,
1) Very strange, I just double check the downloadable file and the examples are in there (in a folder named “examples”), did you download the files using the “All files & documentation” link? like this: http://document.thememove.com/arden/img/Download%20type.jpg
2) yes, you can add multiple filters to ANY of the examples
if you need further assistance you can contact me via email here: https://codecanyon.net/user/castlecode#contact for better support
Let me know how it goes,
Best, David
Great Work, Congratulations GLWS
thank you
Woah, seems to be exactly what I am looking for and it came out yesterday. I’m not just sure it will do everything I need. I’m a web developer and I worked on a lot of projects. I’d like to be able to put all my projects (or collaboration) on my website and be able to show them by categories like “project created, project on which I collaborated, project I helped a bit, project I adviced” and then each project would have some tags like “html, css, WordPress, ACF, php, etc.” ... SO. At first sight, seems to be the plugin I need cause the theme I’m using offers a portfolio but we can’t put filters. Do you think your plugin is the right one and would it be refundable if it happens to not be the case ?
Hi,
it sounds like it will fit your needs
the plugin can read your posts or even your custom post types (in case you want many) and also it takes into consideration your tags and categories for filtering
the plugin is refundable if it doesn’t work as advertise
Best, David
Oh, then Sold! First buyer, woohoo!!
awesome
also there are video tutorials available in the docs for easier understanding
Interesting Work! Congratulations
thank you
Hi
Would it be possible to create a grid of latest posts like this example?
http://nimb.ws/5uSPXrMany thanks
Hi,
I’m not able to see the screen shot in the link, it asks for permission
But you can set the plugin to show your posts ordered by date
Best
Hi
Sorry try this – https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ZzbUWzezsIWlZrpmHq27IYTZOiyi9P0g/view?usp=sharing
Searching high and low and nothing at the moment.
Thanks
Hi,
the plugin is based on columns, one item could be across 2 or more columns, but in the example you are showing seems that every row has different amount of columns so is not quite the same as this plugin.
the example closer to that one would be this one: http://www.castlecodeweb.com/wp-mediaboxes/dark-grid/
I hope it helps
