Hello, Great Extension. I also have the Composite Products Extension. How hard would it be to add support for this extension. So the child products fitment auto dictates if the parent product is shown. Also would like to hide children based on the fit. Thanks

Hi. I had the plugin working properly with it displaying the Make/Model/Years on the Product Details Tab. And then I removed the “Additionall Information” tab and your tab disappeared. I added the “Additional Information” tab back but still your tab did not appear. I have already purchased. Can you please help. I am able to work around the problem by manually going into each product and selecting the “Tabs” and manually adding the Custom Tab. But I cannot seem to get it to work properly without doing this. Leading me to believe something is wrong and I don’t wish to add the custom tab every time to each product. I have checked the database setting for displaying the tab on product details page (toggle on, off), tried to remove and re-add the plugin, but it still does not work properly by displaying vehicle information in the product details page unless I manually add the tab on each products page. Can you please help. Overall it’s a great plugin. Thank you. James

Are you using any plugin also for WooCommerce tabs except using WooCommerce’s default tabs? I am asking this question because you said that you can enable tabs manually from each product’s settings but in WooCommerce, there is no such setting to enable/disable tabs for individual products.
Please try disabling plugin if you are using any for WooCommerce tabs management and let me know if it causes the conflict or it still doesn’t help. Provide me your website’s FTP and Admin details ai wpinstinct@gmail.com so that I can test for its reason and fix it.

Hi. You are indeed correct. I was using a Tab Manager for woocommerce. I tried to disable it but that had no effect. I disabled and then removed it and that resolved the issue. One thing I noticed. On a different note that might be of interest to you is that when I updated a product, some of the terms were getting deleted. I believe it is because there were so many for a specific product with years that the update was truncating them to a limited number of items and the remaining were getting deleted/truncated. This is when the VPF Setting Terms Metabox Template was set to Custom Meta Box with Ajaxify Rows. Not a big deal. I just changed to Default for that setting and I can update products with no issue. I use a spreadsheet for updating the VPF Terms so it’s not an issue for me. Not sure if you are aware of that issue so wanted to bring it to your attention. 1. So you have resolved this issue yourself by disabling pluign or want me to let it work with WooCommerce Tabs Manager plguin as well? In this case provide me requested website details please.
2. I am aware with this issue. This is something not related to my plugin but to your server configuration. You have to increase the value of max_post_vars in php.ini file or you can request your hosting support for this and it will do the trick.

Hello,
I uploaded a file with about 100,000 fits. All the year, make, model show up fine. But only the 30 products that I had manually added to woocommerce show fit data. After that I imported about 300 more and none of them are getting the fit data. I tried deleting all the YMM tags and reimporting them – it no longer gives me a success message and only those first 30 products have any fit data.

Hi, I’ve installed the plugin and am trying to manually categorize items that are currently in the store. I’ve gone into the VPF (YMM) -> Terms and all I see is year, which I’ve added all the years. Where do I input the Make, Model and Engine so I can choose them when I edit products?

Hi. I’m looking at you plugin for a client of mike that is selling after market car parts. I need the search field but I also need the ability to pull up pages with sorted products. For instance all parts that fit a Ford, 2016-18, F150, 2wd. Is this possible? Thanks

Yes, that’s the one reason you don’t see anything on frontend. This zero repersents the number of products assigned to specific Make -> Model -> Year -> Engine. Edit a product, assign to few combinations of Make -> Model -> Year -> Engine and you will start seeing a number there over zero. That way you will see a filter on frontend also.

Hello there. I’m using the YMM plugin and it’s doing a great job. My specific case requires a functionality that I’m not seeing so I was wondering if you could give me your feedback.
We’re only using Year, Make, Model and Engine filters. Once vehicle is selected, user is taken to the SHOP page. There, my sidebar has the native Woocommerce product category widget.
However, all categories are showing, even empty ones. I need to have only categories WITH products for the SELECTED VEHICLE show up.
Any idea how we can make it work with your plugin? SInce your plugin performs specific DB queries, it’s bypassing the “hide empty categories” option native to WP/Woocommerce.

Hey WP Instinct, as I’m working with uploading the fitment, I noticed the import is taking way too long. I have about 5 million lines split into small csv files (roughly 100 files with 50k lines each). I’m running a farily decent VPS but the extension is writing to the DB very slowly. I was wondering if there’s a way to write straight into the database? (so far the first import with 50k lines wrote 2,000 lines in 40 minutes)

There is no direct way to redirect to a custom page after one clicks on submit button. I can help you with a small custom code but still it will take users to search results page first and then will redirect to your custom page. its either in the Porto theme itself or the contact form 7 .... the modal box (pop up newsletter) that pops up when you enter the website – has a background pattern and a background imagev via remote url (a sexy girl) and neither the theme or the form functions appear to have a way to edit this. I will try with the theme author and then contact form 7 folks…..

I am using this plugin with the ‘Remember Search’ option checked off so that if a user puts in search terms, they should be the same across the site. But I’m having this issue show up where sometimes it will change the search terms to a previously searched item when I navigate to another page. I’ve noticed this a couple of times but its not consistent. When I noticed it in firefox, I tried clearing the cache and I don’t think it’s doing that anymore but I can’t rely on that for my users. Any suggestions?
