Hello, I’m looking for a script that works exactly like in this page: https://www.vouschurch.com/
- Height can be set to available viewport, not full page
- Will play on mobile devices, no background image fallback
- Will continue to play even if you resize the page (responsive)
- No playlist or controls needed, just a link to play the video on a youtube superimposed iframe
Please let me know if your script behaves like the above description, I can’t tell from your demos.

It can’t embed videos from some special sites. You need to have the direct link to the MP4 file, which will be hosted on your server or a third-party server.

on my website, I want to stream video files hosted in other servers like google drive, facebook and instagram. Can this player fetch and stream those video files if I just put in the video file links? Can stream any video files hosted in any servers if I type in the video file url?

If you want compatibility on all browsers and operating systems you should use MP4.
Also, .FLV is exclusively for FLASH. It can’t be played with HTML5

So for me, none of the videos autoplay. They only autoplay when viewing the page via a navigation link. If accessed directly, however (from an outside link for example) it doesn’t autoplay.

Maybe you have a CSS definition which targets the bottom navigation.

1. The transparent template is not provider because is part of the live demo. You’ll receive the video player plugin.
I can send you the css class which creates that transparent div
2. The mute button is available for the fixed with or full width player because you have the controls visible: http://www.videoplayerhtml5.com/universalvideobackground/the_fixed_width_youtube.html
3. If you use YouTube live links it will work.
4. Yes, you can insert in the same page the video background and the apollo player because you can set for the video background the initial volume 0
5. We have a note on the product page:
Note for IOS/Android (restrictions imposed by Apple/Google):
- for the moment only IOS allows autoplay and only if the video is muted. When you set autoPlayOnMobile:true, the video will mute automatically for mobile devices.
- auto-play option is only available for self-hosted videos. YouTube & Vimeo doesn’t have this option for mobile devices, yet.

Your link autoplays only on IOS. On Android it doesn’t load at all.
IOS and Android have disabled the auto-play feature for HTML5 video tag to preserve users internet bandwidth.
Most probably your example site has a hack for IOS devices.

1. We’ve added autoplay parameter for IOS devices
2. IOS allows autoplay only for self-hosted videos and when the video is muted . So when you activate the new parameter (autoplay on mobile devices) it will automatically mute the video on IOS.
3. On Android, it will only autoplay in Firefox. The other browser will not allow it.

I bought your script and everything is working fine so far. But I do have a question: how do I change the “overlay” of the video when the page has loaded? Now there’s a slight gray on top of the video (which disappears after I press play) but I don’t want any shade at all, the video should show up just as it is. Is it possible to reduce the number of thumbnails in the playlist of the full-width player? If the player is in a small space, 12 thumbnails will be too tiny to see.
Also, can the plugin display videos (and change dynamically) from a YouTube playlist?

You can set the desired number of visible thumbs using ‘numberOfThumbsPerScreen’ parameter when you initialize the player.
It will show & play only what you have defined in the player playlist

Hi can your player hide the source of embed player, like for example if I embed YT video with your player, can it hide the source from right click or the YT branding url?

All you have to use is the YouTube video ID, so no code embedding.
You can’t hide completely the YouTube logo. Our player uses ‘YouTube modest branding’ and YouTube logo will appear when the video is pause and when the mouse is over the video.
For fullscreen background, due to the fact that the plugin will cover the entire screen no matter the resolution so the black stripes will no be present, the YouTube logo will not appear.
