Hi, I’d like to display the particles in a specific container on my page. Right now it’s just in the background filling the whole page. How can I limit the particles to display only withing a specific div? Thanks

Hey, This plugin is adding background animation only to a Wpbakery Visual Builder (formerly Visual Composer) row. There is no feature to add it inside 3rd-party plugins.

If you want to put the background effect in front (over the slider) – it will require some modifications. We can do this – please provide us your wp-admin access (at hello@boomapps.eu) and we’ll do it.

As we’ve mentioned earlier this is not possible out of the box, as you want to make this animation over another content, not in the background. We can do such modification for you but we’d need access to your wordpress.

Such feature that you ask for is not a supported feature of the plugin. We’ve offered you modifying it, but w can’t make a manual for this as such modification requires coding knowledge and troubleshooting to make this work as you intend with specified plugin/theme.

Hi, the interactivity mode repulse seems to not work correctly if you don’t vertically center your screen on the row.
If your screen is way up the row the repulse center is not where the mouse cursor is but far below it.

Hey, Unfortunatelly we can’t help with localhost websites. But if it worked and stopped it’s most likely you’ve changed something. Can you try removing all the plugin elements from subpage in Visual Composer and add them again?

Awesome plugin. I’ve just got one issue. The particles generated overlay themselves on top of my other element such as images and text. I would like the particles to stay in the background behind my other elements. I know it can be done because i’ve had this effect working on other themes. How do i do it with yours.

The problem is that the plugin doesn’t allow me to change the colour of the particles, I’m using circle particles and it shows me an alert like “Not for image particles” but like I said I’m not using image particles. I revised my theme configuration and tried in Content Blocks and Pages but it doesn’t let me.

Hey, Can you please describe what exactly happens and what does “doesn’t allow me to change” mean?
The “Not for image particles” is just a label and it’s always there no matter of choice of particle type. It’s just a warning that this feature will not work for image particle type.
Also, due to recent changes in Wordpress/Visual Composer core the color select element got a opacity slider which is not supported by our plugin. Please don’t use it (always set to 100%). We are working on fix for that. If you want opacity please use opacity tab.

Hi – I just purchased your plugin – BUT seemed to have missed the part about use with WPBakery Page Builder (formerly Visual Composer) – I am using Divi Theme and after I uploaded it I can’t access it or find a way to – is there any way it can work? Hey, This plugin is intended to use with WPBakery Page Builder (formerly Visual Composer). This information was provided in multiple places ( twice in item description, VC in item name, “Visual Composer” in item cover picture tagline and Visual Composer logo in cover picture).
In this case this is not a reason for a refund.

Having some issues with the Jupiter theme and adding this into a “page section” rather than a row – is this possible?
Second question – is it possible to use this as an overlay on a row? Say a full width row and inside it has a 1/2 image and 1/2 colour background with the particles overlaying both?

Hello! Great app thanks, easy to install and use through WP bakery builder. I have an issue though, when I first add to my page it works fine, when i go in to tweak and edit the settings, maybe i want to change opacity or change the amount of particles, it is then no longer present on my screen – i’ve tried removing / adding several times and get the same result – PLEASE HALP!

We would love to use this in our website based on infinite theme from Goodlayers. They also have sort of a visual composer build by themself. Will this plugin still work by adding a class or id by a wrapper? Or does it necessarily have to be the visual composer?

Hello guys, i appreciate the effort you did to help me, but it was not entirely done. I sent you a request ( the action of dispersing particles was happening way above the pointer ) the support guys fixed it but when you have text over particles, the interaction does not happen, it is a bug, please provide me help, i already wrote you once..

Can it become interactive like your demo (http://demos.boomapps.eu/wp2/vc-particles-background/) and as particles.js?
Actually playing with the settings changes the structure but always remains without interaction on mouse hover or click (like the real particles.js)
