Hi some pre-purchase questions:
1. Is it possible to have 3 different plans with different pricing for each? How do they pay is it just PayPal or can we link to Stripe as well?
2. Once logged in do all new profiles go into Members directory or can we pick and choose?
3. Can logged in members post content or not? Can we do something where it costs them to add new post?
4. How easy is to modify pages where content is output? For example will this plugin work with Divi?

Hi,
1. Yes, you can have unlimited levels, with different prices and periods and different access provided. You can set one of the available payment gateways or you can have multiple options and user will choose which one he wants to use.
2. Depends of how you set and create the MembersDirectory. It is not by default displayed but created based on specific settings and options in order to have the right members list if you want. Or you can not use this showcase at all.
3. This kind of process is something different than a membership workflow and is not managed by UMP posting actions.
4. Yes, you can set the custom content what ever you want, similar with any other WP page content.

How to add a user to the membership system? I have an administrator account I can’t see my account within the members. I also created an account (admin, shop manager roles) for my colleague and I can’t find this account within the members too. What is the correct way to sync account created in wordpress with membership system? I coudln’t find the answer in the KB.. Thx for tip – dudlaj

My support is already expired. I thought this not a support question. If it would by necesary I will pay for support, but I thought it is a simle question wih a simple solution. So I did my research. I solved the situation for my colleague – I changed his role to a shop manager and I can see and manage him now with your membership system (i will have to manage some capabilities in user roles plugin…). As far as I can understand plugin settings, there are no restrictions for admin (he/she can see everything – even if the content is rectricted to a certain level – am I right?) – or is it possible to manage levels for admin users? Hey guys, any plan to support automation marketing app like Active Campaign with a little more deeper connection? For now it can only add member that signup to a list, but with no possibility of differentiate them with tags for exemple which make the use of AC kinda useless as it reduce it as a simple newsletter system.

We never used that theme so we can not say more about it but if is a premium one and properly built should not be any issue. UMP have been developed following the “good practices” and will not affect other scripts or themes but the others should follow the same path to be avoided any issue.

I’ve said this before and must say it again as a long-time customer of this product: I really appreciate the quality and features of this product for the low price-point. Everything else I tried in this category was at least $200 or more with the same or even less features and no better performance. I’m amazed and appreciate all the new features you keep adding. Thanks for making me look like a pro with this plugin! My client is a non-profit that sets/provides standards for member organizations and IMP allows me to provide login access for members to get information and download resources for implementing those critical standards. It’s not a paid membership and the stored standards information is not a security risk. IMP simply provides a way to limit access and garner community among the members.

for the past 12 months im still trying to figure this out.. its a nightmare when i need to use tracking links from FB Ads or Google ads, because the acquisition path is not clear. And I can’t track the true ROI being made.
A lot of us need this option, some of us pass this info down to affiliates so they know what type of ROI to expect, but we cant do any split testing of home pages or product funnels.
We need the ability to control the sale (the funnel) to maximise our ad ROIs, with out it, is like having a working left lung but the right lung is not doing so well, but you’ll still manage to get around, just not as fast.
There should be a way to track a cookie to our gateway, mines STRIPE…
So example:
Home page > buy button > enter payment details > thank you page (an upsell page) > enter payment details (or incorporate 1-click upsell carts) > no thanks page > linking to the login page
A clear path will help us track these sales… so how would it be done?

From UMP side is not tracked how the buyer landed on your website and no special data about is is stored. This is usually the affiliate system job, from UMP side just manage the purchase process.

A popup workflow based on JS triggers is not stable and reliable as a standard form ‘cause it may be affected by any js error of other scripts and that can not be controlled by UMP system.

OK thank you. I would really like it though so if you can just let me know which file to edit, I will experiment. Problem I am having is people registering, skipping payment and becoming a registered member. Yes they cannot access any restricted pages, but would be good to have Paypal as a popup on registration to prevent them with a successful registration without making payment.

There is about the entire library and not just a file or line of the code for a such different workflow. For preventing that situation it can be set for register form to set users as Pending wp role and to be changed only when a payment confirmation arrives. So,they will not be able even to login and not only to access the restricted content provided by that Level.

Superb, I didnt know about the pending registration setting. If i set that, would they automatically be switched to “Subscriber” after making payment or would i need to manually do this per member? Thank you, this is all I need to know.

Once a payment confirmation is received into the system, UMP will switch the user wp role automatically. The entire process is managed by the system and does not require Admin activity.
That option is available and can be set into Register Form settings.

The problem is when a user registers and does not follow through with payment, the cannot login to complete payment “Your account was not been approved yet. Please, try again later”.

Yes, if user is restricted until a payment is done will not have access into the Account Page either. So is forced to proceed the payment step

And what exactly is the difference between UserPro and UMP ? I have read UserPro is a members directory and UMP is a membership system. What is the difference?

UMP system and UserPro (as we know) are based on WP Users, so you will see those in both scripts automatically being something independent of them.
The difference is exactly like you’ve specified. A Membership system is managing Subscriptions, restrict content and many other additional actions. A “members directory” is more likely a management of users where they have accounts and it may interact between them.

User purchases “product/membership” vie ThriveCart -> information passed over to UMP that creates the user and adds him/her to the paid membership level. (TC has webhooks if that helps)
Many users would wish to use it for teaching, membership sites, so UMP and your LMS plugin combined would be a good fit for many.
Learndash has a beta integration but it is not finished and the question pops up almost weekly in the ThriveCart group (wanting to connect it to WordPress).

1. Yes, any content or text from UMP system can be translatable or changed. 2. No, some text are manageable from UMP Dashboard and stored in DB, so will not be affected by plugin files updates and others via separate languages files which can be backuped anytime if you want. 3. UMP system is a membership system and does not manage posting facilities. 4. Yes 5. Yes, is possible.
