Hi, yes the importing feature is only available for pro users. And yes currently our plugin does not have a feature to import reviews via csv.

Hi, you can not do that. Our plugin works based on WooCommerce reviews to make it possible to attach photos when customers leave reviews, not create reviews.

Hi, we are wondering before we buy the plugin if it’s possible to compress the photo? We don’t want to limit the size people can upload as it might put them off uploading but is there a way to compress the photo after they upload it? If the max size for photos is 2MB, would that make the page load slowly? Thank you.

There is no option to compress the pictures after uploade now. To do that you may use 3rd plugin, this is an example https://wordpress.org/plugins/resize-image-after-upload/ The plugin will automatically resize image size(max height and width is 500px) but remain the ratio. Therefore the image file size will be down. You can test our free version here at https://wordpress.org/plugins/woo-photo-reviews/.

You can do that with a shortcode. Just paste the shortcode into the page you want to display all the reviews.

I have a hundreds of products imported aliexpress and I have used the photo reviews import feature of your plugin fine before but im seeing a lot status “Failed” when I do a bulk import.. any way around this?

Hello DonUchiha, It seems there are some products you have already imported reviews from AliExpress. Then if you do it again you will get that “Failed” notification.
hi, this is must have plugin, but I have one question. Instead of “buy the product” on the image review, is it possible to change to “add a question, or reply to review… ” please see attached picture https://i.imgur.com/uCgyq8D.jpg i think adding option to ask the customer about his own experience will be much better than adding “purchase button” on the image review.
what if the image review will be bad? I think asking the customer in public will do this job perfectly.

Hello Michael118, That Add to Cart button, we created it with an idea that some visitor when they are viewing a product and its reviews. They think “well, this is a good one, I would buy it”. The plugin provides they the fastest way to purchase the product, right on the reviews. We will consider your option in next updates. Thank you.

Hi! Is it possible to turn off the verified section? Because most of our sales come through click funnels NOT woo commerce. But we still want reviews on our woo commerce site. But if they are not verified it looks like they are fake. Which they’re not. I REALLY want to buy this pluggin but not if I cant turn off the verified option.

Hello joseemanuelrr, Yes, WooCommerce Photo Review can do what you are asking for. You can config the plugin to: schedule a review reminders to customers’ email when their orders are marked as complete. Then send them a coupon when their reviews are approved. The plugin can send existed coupons or generate coupon by itself.

Hello, few issues
Firstly after 75 new customers (after installing this) not one review was submitted from a customer – either all emails going to spam? Or something else
2nd – plugin on product page shows 10 stars! Can we have a code or option to make it just show * or # of reviews instead of these stars
3nd I disabled the plugin but the stars and reviews are still showing up (even cleared cache)

The star and review are apart of WooCommerce, we just add pictures . Deactivating the plugin does not help to disable reviews.
Can I make the review request/reminder email is being sent automatically on 60 days after marked as Completed? I know this is a built in feature, but I am not sure, since the option is seconds, minutes, hours.. I doubt that I can set 60 days (which is 1440 hours) for the “ask for review” time.

Hello edgyBarin, Thanks for your questions. - That is not possible because each plugin saves pictures in an other place and in a different way. So our plugin cannot take the pictures which are imported by an other plugin to display. - The custom CSS is working. Please create a ticket at https://villatheme.com/supports/forum/plugins/woocommerce-photo-reviews/ we may help you to change the font. We avoid using theme CSS, that will cause many problems/conflicts.
I was using Woocommerce Reviews Pro (https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-product-reviews-pro/) and it was displaying images imported by another plugin. So its possible. I just didn’t like the way reviews are displayed.
Hi edgyBrain, Yes it’s possible but the plugin authors have to look into the other plugin’s source code to figure out how it works and then edit one or both plugins to make them compatible with each others.
