Can admin see all user conversations in the back-end?

No, Admin can’t see any conversation not even in database table because all the messages are encrypted.

Hello, In our plugin there are necessary hooks to implement email notification. And about ultimate membership pro our plugin works with wordpress user. So if you want to make a chat between users then its possible with our plugin.

Hello, Our plugin provide a shortcode where you can specify a user id as parameters. And in that chatbox any other user can chat with that specific user. I am not if it is what you are looking for.

After updating to version 2.0, We cannot active the plugin anymore. It asks for atleast MySql version 5.6 while we are using 10.1.37. What can we do about this?

You are using mariaDB we have put a restriction in our plugin as our plugin need mysql version 5.6 or above. But for mariaDB above 10 our plugin works just fine. So you need to change few code.

look nice… but when switching conversation on the left, on the right , the input for type can’t be focused, move your mouse, click on the input, you still can’t type anything to it… another thing, on left top, the search, does that really work? it seems like it’s nothing but search text and icon on the left top, nothing else.

In our plugin we provided an option where you can put user id in a shortcode attributes. So if you used that shortcode in your template then you can easily achieve this type of facility.

Hello, Our plugin doesn’t have any dependency with any other theme. Our plugin use default wordpress user to use as chat agent. If the theme doesn’t alter the user sytem then our plugin should work.

Can you let me know if I want to just allow my customers to chat with Admin? Which means to just message that admin very obviously without pressing other messaging button but just go to the inbox page and message directly?

Hello, Our plugin provide a shortcode where you can provide roles or user id as params. So that means you can chose any user whom your customer can sent message.

And yes our plugin do have a shortcode to shown message notification.

Let’s say i want to just let Customers to click their ‘Messages’ page, they will only see 1 Chat Box which is similar look like mesaging on Facebook Inbox. Is it possible? Which means one-click-direct on Messages page to start messaging right away to admin. Can you all do that or customize that?

Hi – I’m thinking of purchasing this to replace the overly simple PM method in the theme I’m using. I’d like to put a shortcode onto a widget onto the vendor page so that the user can directly message the vendor, rather than choose from a list of users. In other words, the message will automatically be from the signed in user (obviously) to the vendor whose page they are on. Is that possible. Also, as admin, I’d like to use the system to post to all users as a broadcast with site announcements etc. Thanks in advance.

Our plugin support shortcode with user_id param where you can fix which user will receive message. Suppose you put a shortcode with admin id. Then if anyone send message then only admin will receive that message. Our plugin has an option for sending bulk message. But its still in beta and has not tested properly. For working with bulk message you have to create a user list with few rules. Then you can send message to all the user or specific user in that list.

Hello, It is possible with custom coding. To send a message to any user you need to know the sender and the receiver id. Then you have to check for the function which one is called to send a message.

Sorry we don’t have email support. But our plugin provide enough hooks to implement it by yourself.

Just wondering, is it possible to extend the WP GraphQL API (https://github.com/wp-graphql/wp-graphql) with your messaging plugin?

For example: because WooCommerce uses custom post types for its products, I’ve easily added WooCommerce fields to the GraphQL endpoint.

Now I’m wondering if I can apply the same concept to your plugin. The end goal is a decoupled web app, which means for my purposes, all I care about is exposing your app’s functionality as an API. Please let me know what you think

Hello, We haven’t tested our plugin with WP GraphQL API. Our plugin provide hooks on different events. If you can use those hooks to get what you want then you are welcome to give it a try.

I understand that this is not a built-in feature (if it is, please let me know), so my question is: Is possible to achieve this by only editing the php files? I mean, without requiring the not-compiled source scripts your plugin doesn’t include.

If vendor is a wordpress role and you want to list all the vendor in a messagebox and any customer can start conversation with any vendor then yes it is possible with our plugin. Our plugin has a shortcode which accept parameters. If you give role parameter value to vendor then the chatbox will only list the people whose role are vendor.

It is also possible for metakeys. If you have any user meta and you want to show the chatbox for any specefic metavalue then you can also do that using our plugin.

Can I check with you, is it possible to enable the chat to be visible and possible to chat with certain user role? Like user role b and c can only chat with admin, while user role a cannot have any chats?
