Hello. I just renewed my support license because I am having some trouble with the scheduler plugin and I need someone to take a look at my setup and see what’s going on. How can we go about that?
The problem is that the scheduler is not activating/deactivating products correctly, and it stays hung up unless I uncheck the rule for the current week and day.
I appreciate your help!
Hi,
without any further clue, it is quite hard to determine the cause. A few questions:
is this the first time you are experiencing the issue? If so, could you try deactivation the other plugin and report if you still experience the issue?
Are you running the latest 4.8 plugin version? What do you mean that “it stays hung up unless I uncheck the rule for the current week and day”, could you provide a more detailed description?
Could you also try enabling the WordPress debug mode and debug log (https://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress ), reperform the test and see if any error is reported on frontend pages and in the debug.log located in the wp-content folder?
Thank you.
Sorry, didn’t know if you’d want to dive down deep here or via email.
The problem started with a rule that did not turn posts (products) off when it was supposed to. All of my rules are configured to run by specific date (week of the year), and this rule in particular is only set to be on for Thurs-Sunday of week 11 and Monday-Wednesday of week 12. (This is the setup we’ve been using for years and it works great usually.)
When Thursday of week 12 (last Thursday) rolled around, this rule did not shut off the products like it normally does. The only way I can get the products in this rule to turn off is to uncheck the current week’s rule (week 13) further down the list.
If I uncheck that and click update, the week 12 products change to draft. Unchecking the week 13 rule also makes those products change to draft, which is correct. If I re-check the week 13 rule to turn it back on, the week 13 products come back on and the week 12 products stay off.
I can make the week 12 products come back on by checking week 13 (as long as the other week 13 is unchecked). This is correct also. When I uncheck week 13 on this rule again, they change back to drafts, but only if the other rule for week 13 remains unchecked. If I try to remove week 13 from the week 12 rule and add it to the other rule in the same update, the week 12 products will not change to draft, even though the scheduler accepts and shows both changes. I end up where I started, which is products showing active in a week they’re not supposed to. If I delete week 13 again, they’ll change to draft. I can repeat this scenario over and over by playing with the weeks.
I am running version 4.8 of the plugin. WordPress is up to date. All non-pertinent plugins are turned off (behaviour seems the same with them all turned on). The debug log doesn’t pull anything either. Let me know if there’s any other info I can provide.
And yes, first time with this issue.
It sounds very strange that without any code alteration/customization it suddenly stopped working without any reasons. Are you sure that you have not configured some new rules that are overriding the old ones due to priority?
Are you really sure that deactivating all the plugin you still experience the issue and no error is reported in the WordPress debug log if repeating the test?
Unfortunately, as you can imagine, without any further clue for me is quite impossible to determine the cause.
If you send me via private message (click on my name and then use the low-right box) the following data:- you email address
- Full admin access to the wp-admin area
- a FTP access
- a DETAILED step by step guide on how to experience the issue
I can try to see IF possible to determine the cause of the issue. Thank you.
I would appreciate you taking a moment to help me out and take a look at it. I am happy to get you all of the information you’re looking for when I return to my computer tomorrow.
I’ve been using this plugin for a couple years or so and I’ve been able to figure out every other issue on my own. This issue is different than any other I’ve seen and I just need someone to help me out because I’m stuck. There is no custom code or anything in this plugin. I recently experienced some other issues with it that I could not explain and had to recreate some rules but they’ve all activated and deactivated once since then. This is a weird issue altogether so I just need a little help. I’ll follow up with more tomorrow. Thank you!
Also to say it “stopped” working is not correct. It works, it’s just tripping up in an odd spot.
sent you an email domenico about the recurrence of the inactivity of the plugin. debug log has been attached for you to look at.
Thank you, but please do not open a different thread in different channels about the same issue.
As you can imagine, I have no clue about what actions you are performing time after time in your installation that may be the cause of the interference.
Try rolling back to the last known working configuration and completely disable the plugin I’ve reported in the email.
for the first time after hundreds of time going through your plugin, i understood what you meant by this – https://prnt.sc/mo42w7.
turns out setting the rule you want to take priority as the last (or bottom) was the solution to my problem.
but this is not especially good. please can you update the rule priority command?
it is frustrating when you have between 5 to 10 rules and some are not working simply because they are higher up on the chart. it should be able to run through all the rules and choose that which best suits the task at hand.
great plugin but i believe there is still room for improvement.
ciao, domenico
Thank you for reportin the result of your investigation and glad you find the cause
Note that the priority however is applied only when the plugin founds that multiple rules are appling to the same product. In case you want to “change” priority, just drag the rule above/botton the others.
Have a great day!
Hello. I’ve been using this plugin for a long time and it’s great, but it’s suddenly giving me issues and I’m not sure how to fix. You know how when you click into the “select product(s)” box, if you start typing the name of the product it’ll search for that product? Well, for some reason it’s not working. When I type in a few letters it acts like it can’t find that and will just display all products. I have over 700 so I can’t scroll through them. Any ideas why the search feature is acting this way? I appreciate your help. I have the most up to date copy as well as updated WordPress.
Hi,
unfortuantely i have no clue
Can only suggest to try disabling the other 3rd party plugins and see if you still experiencing the issue. If not, enable one by one until you find the interfering one. Once done report to its developer in order to fix it.
Hi,
I would like to select all my drafts and set up a date in the past for their publication.
How do I select only drafts?
How do I publish drafts from the past?
Thanks
Also, I would like the post to be published from 7 to 12am.
Hi,
I’m sorry but the plugin hasn’t any feature to allow past date selection or to let draft selection.
Ok can the module schedule posts in the future then? I got 80 published posts that I don’t want the module to change. I got 50 other draft posts that I would like to schedule for the next months.
Hi,
if you want just to publish a post on a certain date, select the draft posts you need and then select the date you wish: https://www.dropbox.com/s/74zeef81zs90kbx/wpps_publish.jpg?dl=0
What if I select 2018? It will publish the post in the past. Am I wrong?
No, because the plugin will publish a post only in the specific date, not after a specific dates.
Can you add an option to select all drafts please? I got too many to select them one by one.
And PLEASE, don’t apply the rules when you enable the plugin!! It missed up 100+ posts publications…
Thank you for your suggestion, I’ll see if it will be possible in a future release.
hi vanquish. i don’t know what happened but I updated the plugin to the latest version and suddenly the scheduler doesn’t work again. i can still set items for schedule but when time comes, nothing happens. it’s causing a lot of issues for my client who operates a daily menu on their site. please help.
Hi,

Could you try disabling the other 3rd party plugins and report if you still experience the issue? Could you enable the debug mode and debug log (https://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress ) and see if in the debug.log located in the wp-content/ folder is reported any error? If so please report here.
hi varnish, “Could you try disabling the other 3rd party plugins and report if you still experience the issue?” – i practically deactivated every single plugin except woocommerce, yet its not working.
how exactly do i do this debug?
You find the guide in the link posted in the previous comment: https://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress
Just edit the wp-config.php file you find in the root of your site adding (if not existing) the following statements:define( 'WP_DEBUG', true ); define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true );Once done errors will be printed on frontend pages and in the debug log stored in the wp-content/ folder.
Make also sure you are running the latest WooCommerce, Wordpress version and the latest 4.8 plugin version.
i’m running the latest of everything here (WooCommerce, Wordpress version and the latest 4.8 plugin version). i’ll try to give that debug thing a shot
but I keep hearing never to debug a live website. what am i to do then?
Yes you can debug even live web site. You can also eventually replicate in a staging server and perform the tests there. Do as you prefer.
sorry I haven’t replied you in a while. i applied the debug today and looked through the debug log, i’m not sure what i see. where can i send the debug log to that will get to you? is here good?
Hi,
try at first to fix all the errors reported in it and see if you still experience the issues.
Make also sure that you have properly configured the minute offset parameter ( https://www.dropbox.com/s/ox0cy99loeb8khu/wpps_offset.jpg?dl=0 ) in order the plugin uses the same time of your region. The current plugin time can be checked in the WordPress dashboard: https://www.dropbox.com/s/230qi72hzk0gsnq/wpps_server_time.jpg?dl=0
In case doing all of this, if you still experience the issue, If you send me via private message (click on my name and then use the low-right box) the following data:- you email address
- Full admin access to the wp-admin area
- a FTP access
- a detailed step by step guide on how to experience the issue
“Make also sure that you have properly configured the minute offset parameter ( https://www.dropbox.com/s/ox0cy99loeb8khu/wpps_offset.jpg?dl=0 ) in order the plugin uses the same time of your region. The current plugin time can be checked in the WordPress dashboard:” – done all this before and achieved correct synchronization. time offset is not the issue.
i will send you the PM now.
Thank you got it.However it is missing some requested info like your email. Please check your inbox (I’ve used the email address associated to your envato account, if it is not in use, report me a working one).
i went to look at my woocommerce status and found - PHP max input vars: 1000 could that be an issue?
“ciao domenico, vedo che sei italiano quale squadra sostieni? amo i rossoneri”
Actually, I’m not a big fan of football
However, that parameter is used to store the posted variable when saving a page. If it is too low, to all the posted data is stored (for example in a setting page). It should have no influence, however, give a try, it is worth the shot.
Hi, how is the best way to schedule so a page will change daily to new a page. ie i have a page and whoever visits that page will be redirected to new page depending on day / time. ie monday = page 1 tuesday page 2 etc. I would like to just go to one url and it redirects to a page depending on what day it is. I tried creating a page and then setup additional dates and Redirect to page 1 but not working for me. So if i go to mydomain.com/page on a Tuesday it will redirect and go to mydomain.com/page2 Thank You
Hi,
to have the redirection feature working you have to choose at least one role selected in the Choose roles section: https://www.dropbox.com/s/gkkhvn2up9eaasz/wpps_redirection.jpg?dl=0
Once done, if the current user role that try accessing that page is not the one selected, he will be redirected into the selected page.
So create a rule for each day, select of each day which page he has to be redirected and chose as role for example “Administrator”.
Let me know if this helps
Thanks works for me. It would be great if this scheduler could output the times / dates rules are set (maybe at top of page?), so its easy to see what you have set
Thank you for your suggestion! I’ll see what it will be possible for a future release!
Hello. We are looking for a way to disable the purchase of a product 24 hours before the current day. is that possible? thanks.
Hi,
no unfortunately the plugin hasn’t any specific feature to disable products 24 hours before the current day.
i’m using the plugin on a website with the betheme installed.
whenever I set a new schedule with 3 or more rules, it never updates at the right time. i always have to wipe cache with wp super cache before the changes take effect at the right time.
but on schedules with only 1 rule, i see no such problems.
*also how do i restart the server after editing the max_input_vars php value?
hope to hear from you soon.
To request support, you have to use the account you used to purchase the plugin.
Hi, we’re using your Scheduler plugin to make daily specials available on our client’s website. This plugin seemed to work perfectly initially. However, after adding quite a few specials throughout the year we’ve run into a problem. After adding a new scheduling rule and clicking “update” over half of our schedules were removed and the new rule was not saved. We’re no longer able to add/save new scheduling rules.
With no luck debugging the issue, we’ve tried removing all scheduling rules and started fresh. We’ve updated the plugin to version 4.4 hoping this may fix our problem. But still no luck. We also receive no error messages. After clicking update we always see the “Options Updated” message.
We’d like to get this issue resolved. Please advise. Thank you!
Hi,
this kind of issue usually are related to low max_input_vars php value. Edit your php.ini (or hosting settings) raising it at least to 10.000 (or if it is already so, raise to an higher value). Once done save and restart your server in order the modification to take effect. Once done your server should be able to save all the posted settings. Let me know
Thank you so much for the extremely quick reply. This seemed to do the trick and I’m setting up scheduling rules like a champ again! I also have a feature request if you’d like to hear it. THANKS again, this is a great plugin.
Glad to hear that
Yes report here the feature, I’ll see what it will be possible!
Meanwhile…If you enjoyed my support and/or my plugin please consider leaving the 5 stars, I would reeeeally appreciate!

Hi, I’m looking for this woocommerce function: a customer can only buy one product per category as long he is a customer.
Example 1: There are 4 categories (A,B,C,D) in store.
Customers can only buy 1 product per category. Susan Starck bought a product from Category A. Now it’s important that she can never buy a product from category A anymore and have to choose between Category B, C or D for her next purchase.
In total, she can only buy 4 products.
Maybe this is not possible with your plugin. When not, maybe it’s possible to restrict access based on individual users and/or userroles?
Example 2: After she purchases 1 product from category A, I give her a custom userrole named ‘A-buyers’.
Is it possible to make category A ‘unpurchasable’ for everybody with userrole ‘A-buyers’?
Hope you can understand what I’m trying to say…
Hi,
yes I understood your use case but unfortunately I’m sorry but the plugin doesn’t implement such a feature
Hello. Is this plugin offer the following functionality?
We have One product, Tshirt in Category Men > Tshirts
We want to schedule it to go to category Sale > Thisrts
BUT we want to stay also on category Men > Tshirts
So the specific product (tshirt) will be on
Men > Tshirts and Sale > Tshirts
categories. Not only on Sale > Tshirts
Thank you.
Hello,
I’m sorry but unfortunately the plugin doesn’t offer this kind of scheduling.
Hi,
I am having this issue since I talked to you last time. Today, monday, the product it’s supposed to not be purchasable but it is, i unnistalled all type of caching plugins and it goes by days really, somedays it just work fine, another days it’s still appearing after one hour after it should have been already out. I don’t know, there are any server restrictions I should be aware of? The server it’s not cheap and it’s not bad at all, first time having issues with chrono functions.
Thanks, looking forward to your answer!
Hi,
unfortunately I have no clue why your server is misbehavingin this way
Hi i have bought your plugin but i have not been able to schedule a product even with the documentation it has not work i have done test on your demo and it is not working can i get help please
Hello any news please?
Please do not open different threads asking for the same thing. Please read my answer in the other comment of yours. Thank you.
I have tried for days to get this working. I am trying to make products to be published from 10:00 to 15:00 . I have created 2 unpublish rules one from 0:01 to 9:59 and the other one from 15:00 to 23:59 . And when i checked at 9:30 the products were published. Can you please help
- Rule 1: Status = Publish, Unpurchasable = Yes, Start hour 0:01
- Rule 2: Status = Publish, Unpurchasable = No, Start hour 9:00
- Rule 3: Status = Publish, Unpurchasable = Yes, Start hour 15:00
Using that order the plugin will give max priority to the Rule 3 over the Rule 1 and Rule 2 when the 15:00 are past. Same thing for the Rule 2 over Rule 1 when the 9:00 are past.
I hope this helps, let me know
Hi i have bought your plugin but i have not been able to schedule a product even with the documentation it has not work i have done test on your demo and it is not working can i get help please
Hi,
I’ve checked the rules you created in the demo site and the plugin is behaving as expected. You created two different ruels that applies different beaviours to the same product during the same time periods.
The plugin, as reported in the configurator, in case multiple rules applies, gives higher priority to the bottom one. So in this case, during the unmatched time (before 12:23 and 15:25) the product will be purchasable: https://www.dropbox.com/s/eycwkby4hf26tey/wpps_rule.jpg?dl=0
current server time is: 11:52 (you can check it on the WordPress Dashboard).
To most likely the issue you are experiencing is due to a misconfiguration.
Hello Sir,
I just bought your plugin yesterday, and it really fits perfectly to my needs, but i got this problem after a couple hours customizing wordpress. The problem is : whenever i try to make a product unpurchaseable, it’s still purchasable. I’ve been going backwards to see which customization triggered the issue, and is the option “Invert item(s) status during unmatched time period?” , which is failing when it should make the item un-purchasable.
It’s something that i am failing or this is a bug? Let me know if you need more details, I really need a fast answer if that could be possible.
I really apreciate your help, Kind greetings!
Hi,
In case you created a rule in which you setted No for the Unpurchasable option, the Invert item(s) status during unmatched time period? option can be used only to revert the item status (pubish to unpublish and viceversa), not to set the item as un-purchasable.
To achieve what you want, you have to create different rules to specify the periods the product is unpurchasable. In this case the Invert item(s) status during unmatched time period? option will allows you to revert the purchasable feature back to yes in case of unmatched periods.
For example your product is purchasable only from 8.00 am to 9.00 amCreate 2 rules by which:
- The item is unpurchasable from 0.00 enabling the revert status option and making it purchasable for unmatched periods, selection as end the 8.00
- create a second rule by which the item is unpurcasable from 9.00 (no revert option is needed
The second rule will have a prioprity higher than the first, making the product unpurchasable after 9.00. This will make the product purchasable only from 8.00 to 9.00
Exactly, so i created a rule for a product (which is already published, i dont know if thats the issue) to be published and made Unpurchasable, this is how it looks .
The option “Invert item(s) status during unmatched time period?” it’s on and set to publish, as you will see. I tracked the issue, and there is a bug with the Invert item status i think, because whenever i deactivate that option it’s working just fine.
Let me know any possible solutionsto this. Thanks!!!
Ok, if you setted the option to be unpurchasable, in the “inver item(s) ..” option you have to set back its status to purcasable as follows: https://www.dropbox.com/s/9yq4pt7ruqarq5w/wpps_rule.png?dl=0
Setting only as published, will not revert its purchasable stastus (because the item is already published in both purchasable or unpurchasable state).
Make also sure that there isn’t any caching plugin that may interfere.
Okk, so i am back with a solution. I went across the other comments and found out the max_input_vars bug that is always on 1000, had to modify php.ini to put it up to 6000. Now it works like a charm! You should consider adding that requierment into the documentation.
Cheers, and thank you very much for the help!
Glad to hear that!
Thank you for your suggestion

Have a nice day!
Sure, i will do that for sure!
But I have the problem again, it worked perfectly, and this afternoon stopped working again, and i did 0 changes to the webpage. It’s weird, and I think it’s related to the max_input_vars, and since I cannot edit the php.ini, I have to talk to the hosting provider, but I want to make sure first that the issue is the presented.
Thanks for your support, and I will rate it right after we make a solution for this little issue
Cheers!
Unfortunately without any further clue it is quite impossible to point you a possible direction
it however seems to be related to a server issue more than a plugin issue. What I can suggest is to try to perform a roll back to the last working configuration, enable the wordpress debug mode https://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress to see if any further info is reported and if in the server error log any other issue is reported.
Wow this seems complex So all I want to do is: I have say 50 Products holding in Draft mode I want to Publish them one everyday . Is that possible with this tool?
yes actually it is possible. To publish each product on a different day you should create a scheduling rule for each product in which you have to configure the options as follow:
- Select item type: WooCommerce product
- Select product(s): Select the product you need
- Status: Publish
- Start date type: Specific date
- Day, month and year: select the date in which it has to be published
In this way the product will be published starting from the day you entered. If you need to unpublish in a specific date, create a second rule in which the Status is Unpublish selecting the date in which it has to be unpublished.
Thanks for the quick reply just one more question You say “create a scheduling rule for each product” Can you create a create a scheduling rule for each category? So the 50 products are all in one category and i set a rule that say post 1 product from that category that the product is in draft mode ?
Yes you could use the category but note in this way all the product that are in draft will be published in the same date.
If you are interested to publish items (belonging to same category) in different dates, give a try to the Time period after publish date option: https://www.dropbox.com/s/tpm76fpoy470i0q/wpps_publish_date.jpg?dl=0
It allows you tu publish an item after a specific time period after its publish date.
So you could modify the publish date for each item (throught the product quick edit menu in the product list page: https://www.dropbox.com/s/obrebqm701z1vc9/wpps_product_edit.png?dl=0 ) in order to properly trigger the pubblish rule.
I really appreciate you taking the time to give me complete answers. Unfortunately i don’t think this will give me the end result without significant input from me. There is a post schedule plugin that say you load 100 posts it will automatically set them to schedule whatever time you set apart. I may try and find that again and see if it picks up “product” as well . If not I maty be back enjoy your easter
No problem!
Have a good easter you too!
Hi I installed this plugin to show categories on single days. Some products, i want to keep in “Concept”-mode But the plugin always make them active I use WordPress 4.9.4 gebruikt thema: Boutique Woocommerce 3.3.3 I bought and installed another plugin, can i get a refund for yours? Kind regards Peter
if you need assistance with an issue, please report me a detailed description of it and share via private message (click on my name and then use the low-right box) the following:
- you email address
- Full admin access to the wp-admin area
- a FTP access
- a detailed step by step guide on how to experience the issue
I’ll be glad to assist you.
For what concerns the refund, Envato refund policy doesn’t grant it just for claiming an issue or because the customer just purchased another plugin instead of the one for which he are asking a refund. This is because otherwise any user could use this kind of argumentation, get money back and continue using the softare for free.
This plugin has stopped working. Items that were previously not available after Wednesday at 5pm are now available all the time. Nothing has changed in the scheduler or the products. Would appreciate any help.
unfortunately without any further clue for me it is quite hard to determine the cause of the issue. Could you try to update the plugin to the latest 4.2 version that you can download from codecanyon and try disabling all your 3rd party plugin and report me if you still experience the issue?
If not, try re-enable one by one your 3rd party plugins until you find the one interfering.
If you still experience the issue, If you send me via private message (click on my name and then use the low-right box) the following:
- you email address
- Full admin access to the wp-admin area
- a FTP access
- a detailed step by step guide on how to experience the issue (which rule should be applied, for which product, which is the product page, etc…)
I’ll try to perform some tests to see if it possible to have more clues about the cause of the issue. Thank you.
Thank you. I didn’t really think I could/should provide details like that in a public forum.
The page where I’m using the plugin is https://www.chicagotailgators.com/grab-and-go/ You can see a bunch of things that say “Orders must be in by 5 pm Wednesday.” They are all governed by a rule that runs according to a category. It had been working wonderfully, and I’m not sure when it stopped unfortunately.
I am using version 4.2. And I have tried the plugin test to an extent—I will be able to disable absolutely everything this evening.
I will send you all of the rest of that after I do that.
Thank you for your quick response.
Presales question – Can this plugin be used to un-publish and/or delete posts in specific categories of custom post types after a fixed time (2 Weeks)? The scenario is that our client wants to show SOLD properties on their real estate site for 2 weeks only once they are in the “Sold” category, and then un-publish/delete from the site.
Yes you can create a scheduling rule in order to unpublish custom posts belonging to a specific category (in your case the “sold” one) after X time from their publish date.
Before however procedig to purchase the plugin I suggest to perform the tests you need using the demo site:
http://www.codecanyon.eu/wpps/wp-admin/
user: demo
pass: demo
In order to be sure that it actually fits your needs and expectations. Create some custom posts assigning them a “sold” category, create a sheduling rule to “unpublish” those posts using the “Time period after publish date” policy. At last then edit the posts publish date in order to see if the puglin satisfy your needs.
If you need further info, feel free to ask!
Hello. Awesome plugin! I was just wondering if anyone happened to report any issues with the scheduler not working correctly when using weeks of the year and using 2017 and 2018 at the same time? My scheduler seemed to hit a hiccup and lost the first new rule for 2018, and it wouldn’t let me add the rule back in until I deleted rules from the 2017 year. If you’re not able to assist with this outside of a support plan I understand, just wanted to check. Thanks!
Hi,
no actually no one reported this kind of issue. Which plugin version are you running? It is the latest 4.2 ? if not please download the latest from codecanyon. To update: just delete and install the new one. Don’t worry you wont lose any setting.
It seems a server related issue more than a plugin issue. It seems that is not properly able to save posted data so it could depend on a PHP misconfiguration. Go to the WooCommerce -> Status menu and look for the PHP max input vars. If less that 5000, edit you PHP.ini and set the max_input_vars to a value above 6000. Then save and restart your server. Check the Status menu to see if the modification took effect. If so, re-try saving the scheduling rule.
Thanks for your response! I checked the max_input_vars value and it was set at 1000 so you might be right about it. Unfortunately I’m not sure if this particular host will let me change that (they’re not the best), but I will play with it and see. I was able to save the rules by deleting the old schedules so I’m good there. I was just hoping to avoid the same thing next year. I will give this a shot – thank you for your help!
You’re welcome

Have a nice day!
If I could leave a second review I most certainly would. You got 5 stars from me last year when I started using this. I just hope I have an opportunity to use it on another site, it’s a great plugin. Good job!
Sorry I didn’t notice! my bad! Thank you then and thank you for your appreciation!!
No worries!! I wanted it here in these comments that I would give you 5 stars again if I could. I mean really, it’s not just a great plugin but your support has been awesome. You’ve done well, thank you!
