Live streaming is a great feature, but very complex to build and it would chew up a lot of Bandwidth.
Either pay for lots of TBs or find a few people who would not mind becoming partners. It will become less expensive.

That’s true this feature is complex and many ways to get that done though, you are right it requires bandwidth and storage & VPS or dedicated server.

Just a tip, I believe that in the new theme the featured videos could have the option of giving play on the same homepage, and watch by it, or autoplay when entering the site.

Hi. This update could have been better. I would recommend waiting 1 week and see the opnions of this update, and perform new update within a few days. I reported an error, but it still exists: after deleting a video, 5 of the 6 thumbnails created in the Uploads folder still exist.

I purchased this app several months back because you said you were going to add live streaming. Still it has not been added, if you can’t figure it out, at least be honest and say so. Stop spending time on themes and other useless features we don’t need or want. Really tired of your Bull$hit games.

We promised? No we didn’t. We said we gonna add it on future updates. Can you pay 200 dolar a month for a live stream server?! If so I would have added it long time ago.
You are not a programmer. You don’t understand why we still don’t add it. Live stream system requires TBs of disk space. 10 seconds live stream is equal to 500MB video file. If you are ready to pay that huge amount. I would have added it long time ago. if you can pay it simply hire a freelancer that will add it for you for like 300 dollars.
Giving a 1 star rating while you don’t understand anything about programming, is worthless.
We arent stupid, we know that live stream will generate more sales, but in the same time. I don’t want to force the user to pay 200+ dolar for a basic live stream server(That can handle few amount of streamers). Even the paid services online, they are so expensive.
Plus, it will require additional programming languages and server setup, it won’t work on shared or even VPS. But 90% of our customers are on shared. I bet you are too.
Such a feedback from customers will make us delay more for updates and it removes the excitmentes. I am not required to give you free updates by the way. But I am trying to do my best to have the best script.
If you can’t pay extra 300 dolar for a freelancer. And waiting us to add live stream that will require our users to pay the same amount BUT MONTHLY, Then you don’t have the rights to give a 1 star feedback.
What I can afford to pay and what I can’t is really none of your concern. The fact is you are boosting your sales with the premise that live streaming will be added. If you can’t do it stop leading people on. Trust me there is no excitement in waiting for an update and only getting another theme. I urge everyone who is thinking of buying this app not to. Do a search in these threads for live streaming and you will see how many times the developer has said it will be added.

Sorry but we will not add live streaming as all customers are equally important for us no matter they are on shared hosting, VPS or dedicated. we certainly don’t want to leave frustration for customers on shared hosting that they have something and can’t use it. so this features is available as custom work. I see on the update that Admin is allowed to choose the amount of videos users can upload. Is this done via user roles or by going to each profile and setting the upload amount? I want to set my site to that only certain users can upload videos and the other users are able to comment and use the other features.

In case you have pro system disabled and you want to limit all users uploads you can do that here /admin-cp/general-settings however that would apply to all users not certain users.

1. Hm… did you read my post? I know that it should be in admin-cp/site-settings that’s why I posted the link. But there is “NO” form field to add an url in backend. No field or title where to put watermark URL to input.
