1. Sorry there is no available hooks which is called when a message is sent or received. But it seems s good feature We will try to add this feature in the future update.
2. Its s PM system with real time chatting feeling. Let me explain it a bit. If you stay in the site message page where our shortcode for chatbox is used then you will receive message without any page refresh. If you are offline then you won’t be notified. You will receive message on next page visit. You can check our demo for better understanding the feature. http://54.210.204.137/
3. Messages are stored in your sites database and attachments are stored in aws s3.
4. Yes, maximum upload size can be determined
5. Yes our plugin is fully translation ready. If you find any section non translatable then please let us know we will fix that.

Hi, I am interested in your plugin, but have a question.
Can I embed the chat to a special page body on my website? We do business coaching and courses, and dont want the chat to show up at the bottom of all our pages as a life chat button but, rather have my customers go to a dedicated coaching page from where they can chat to an admin?

Our plugin provide a dedicated shorcode which you can use in any page to show a chat box. But the kind of facility you are asking for is currently not available. You have to go to chat page for sending message.
We also have a shortcode to add a message button to a user profile. Any user can send message from there without going to chat page. But for continues messaging user have to go to the chat page.

Can I create private chat rooms for different groups to chat?
Hello, We have options for creating chat with metakeys. But we don’t have support for group chat. You can differentiate different user category by metakeys and use those metavalue to create chatroom. Where the user of same role can chat with each other but not in a single rooms which you meant. All the message will be between two user only not in a group.

our plugin has a option to create the shortcode for specefic meta value.

My only concern is that in the live demo, if a user tries to download a PDF from the messenger, it downloads into an unusable format. Great! Thanks so much for the quick response. It looks like its just an issue of having to choose the file type to open with after download on my computer. I did have two more questions that I encountered: (1) On my Google Chrome browser, the search bar in the upper left hand corner does not work, i.e., I cannot click on it and (2) In my Internet Explorer browser no messages show up and I am unable to use the chat at all. Otherwise this product looks great.

Hello, First of all admin can’t see any messages because the message is encrypted. No, user can’t have two conversation with same user.
There is a seen feature in our plugin. Our plugin chat box is fully responsive. Can you point us where you found out its not responsive.

Can you use a shortcode that will allow me to view my chat between the currently logged in account and a specific user.
For example let’s say I am on a custom profile page for a specific user. I am logged in so my ID is available. I of course have the ID of the other user.
Can I use this information to directly display our chat thread on this page using a shortcode.

it’s not about the money but the time that matters and we don’t want a situation where we both have to invest time on something in where our developer haven’t tested yet and you end up asking for a refund for a third party plugin after weeks of support. The plugin has all the feature it described in it’s page so if something doesn’t work we can fix it for you.

Hello, Thanks for your interest in our plugin. If bbPress use the default WordPress avatar system then their avatar will be shown on chat profile.
No you don’t any type of server configuration. We have few dedicated shortcode you can use them in any page and you are good to go.
It is user to user chatting But we can configure it as Admin to user. No its not a pop us from the bottom it provides a chat box in your page.

Hello, Yes it is possible we have a shortcode where you can use arguments like user id. Using that shortcode you can build a chatbox where everyone can only send message to admin. And for admin receiving message you can use the default chatbox.

Hi. As i understand this plugin support buddypress, so :
1) Can i limited which type of media allowed to upload attachment? and limited size?—>IF no, is it will work basic on MY hosting setting already such as limited upload 64MB, file jpn, png, zip, rar only?
2) Is it available “auto delete” attachment within 1 months or 3 months? helpfull free space for web, because most attachment are useless, user most download it to computer.
3) “We have used aws s3 as the files storage”—> Is this paid service? Can i store in my own website, without use thirt party to storage attachment on chat?
4) “send message” button appear in menu, which is nonesence, can you make it become “Chat button” appear next to “defaul buddypress send privacy message button”?

3. Yeah its a paid service and there is no option for using your own storage. We have used this just because if you use your own storage then load of attachments could have effect on your site performance.
4. Sorry I didn’t clearly understand what you meant but for buddypress the send message/ chat button(you can change the text of the button) is not in the sites main navigation its in your buddypress profile page. And there you can see some option for your profile where menus it is integrated in that position.

Sorry this feature is also not available in the plugin but with custom support it’s possible to do that.
