Please be sure to add the following URL in the ‘Authorized redirect URLs for your app’ of your LinkedIn APP settings:
https://143.198.112.144/demoa8909070/wp-admin/admin.php?page=linkedinomatic_linkedin_panel&fb_auth_done=trueI checked and when this redirect URL is not set correctly in app settings, the issue you encountered appears.
Also, after you log in using LinkedIn, you will be redirected back to the demo site and the page will not load, because the https connection is not possible on my demo site. Please change the https from the front of the url to http and the page will load and LinkedIn auth will work.

Hello can you define what posts for example we use a job manager plugin, it would be handy if we can autopost from the post type only? I did try your demo but without first creating an app etc… it doesnt really tell us for sure.

Hi. I cannot get the plugin to correctly authorize with LinkedIn. I am activating the plugin, I create a new app in LinkedIn and then I cannot add permissions anywhere to the app. Where do I find the permissions? I’ve watched your video many times but when creating an app in linkedin – it doesn’t ask you to add any permissions.
What am i doing wrong?

You have to go to the ‘Products’ tab of your app settings and get the ‘Sign In with LinkedIn’ and ‘Share on LinkedIn’ permissions. Please check above video for details.

Hi Szabi. I’ve done that. Only just managed to figure it out. Now I get the following message when I try to authorize the app:
The application is disabled
I’ve added my OAuth URL btw
Most likely: the client_id corresponds to an app that has a status and this status is disabled. Can you check if the app is not switched off?
Hi Szabi – I’ve managed to get the plugin working now. I cannot see a dedicated Linkedinomatic forum on your support channel hence leaving a message here.
I need to be able to share posts on our Company page. I’ve been able to authorize the plugin, I also have access to the Marketing Developer Platform and the other Products in my Linkedin App.
In your plugin description it says the plugin can post to company pages. How can I set the plugin to do that? I can only see the ‘Profile Page’ in the list of pages to share the posts to at the moment.

I checked and it seems that LinkedIn unfortunately disabled access to it’s v1 API.
I tried in the near past to update the plugin, to make it work with the LinkedIn v2 API (which is the API version that LinkedIn is using now), but I did not got access to it (got refused by LinkedIn when I asked for access to the v2 API).
If you have access to the v2 api and you are willing to share credentials from an APP, that it is working with the v2 api, please let me know.
If this is not the case, I can offer a refund for the plugin, because unfortunately it is not working for you (until I manage to find a LinkedIn app that work with the v2 API – so I can update the plugin to be functional again).

I have just purchased your plugin. I entered the purchase code, Client ID, Client secret (from an app created in Linkedin) and authorize the app (by adding the url inside Linkedin’s settings). I have “successful” messages but the screen where I should receive post from linkedin isn’t showing. I do not have access the “Linkedin to Post” nor ‘functionality.

Thanks you for your swift reply. We checked the tutorial video and went through the registration process several times. The error code shows the exact item registration code that we received, but it fails nonetheless. It shows the message “Plugin registration failed” on the Main Settings page and the error which I mentioned in my initial message on the Activity & Logging page.
Please sen me temporary admin login credentials to your blog, to my email kisded@yahoo.com, so I can check on this issue.
I suspect that there is a firewall rule on your host, that blocks access to my update server, but I need to check on this.

I understand now. Yes, this is possible, but only by using a free WordPress plugin, in combination with my plugin, like this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/post-carousel/
This will enable the carousel functionality.

I tried to authorize the plugin using my app ID and secret, and it worked. So I think that you did not do something right during the auth process (the app secret seemed to me too short).

I checked, but for some reason, the App Secret in plugin’s ‘Main Settings’ is incorrect right now.
It is set as a password. Please enter your App Secret again, and try to reauthorize the plugin again.
Please be sure to not edit the App Secret field any more, afterwards.
Please let me know if you still don’t manage to make it work.
