Hello, I’m interested in buying the program but I do not understand much of the settings for sending e-mails. I have a base of approximately 500,000 emails and I send a maximum of 2 times a week. What is the best way to send, by VPS or by Amazon? Or suggested another server? If by VPS is setup easy? If I have difficulties in this configuration, will you help me?

I assume by VPN you actually mean a VPS (which is a virtual private server), right?
Yes, you will need a VPS for sending this amount of emails, and quite a beefy one, at least 16GB of ram for sending 500k / 2 times per week.

I recently updated the Mailwizz app. Activated the MaxMind extension and followed all the instructions. Still can’t see the GEO stats for campaign open. There is no section to check this. Am i doing anything wrong?

Please open a support ticket and we will look into this ASAP.
Please also note that geo stats start to gather only after you have enabled the geo-extension, so most likely you have to send another campaign to actually see something there.

I have ( Ip location – freegeoip.net, Ip location – locatorhq.com & Ip location – ipinfo.io) extensions activated and still can’t see the GEO data. Have tried couple of campaigns and doesn’t work.
Disable those, you don’t need them if you have maxmind one.
Disabled all other and had only maxmind enabled and ran a new campaign and no data. All other data is available but no GEO data.
That’s weird, i am sure it’s some wrong setting somewhere as i just tested this and works just fine.
Open a support ticket and someone will take a look at it as soon as possible.

It is just whenever i click on Geo Open, It takes me back to All campaigns page and so i can’t see anything.
I got this. I had to enable to show the GEO data from customer group—->Campaigns.

There is no need for a guide, just follow the on-screen instructions and you’ll be able to add SES.
Remember that SES is targeted to developers, so it’s assumed you know how to use the AWS console and what it implies.

Is there support for adding a BCC field to emails being sent. I use a CRM that if I BCC my emails will update the contact for me automatically.

Maybe i don’t explained well: What happens when a customer import a list with contacts with some duplicate email addresses but different Name, company, variable fields, etc?
Does MailWiz ask if I you want to keep them or if you want to discard them?
Production Example: We send tax notifications for our country government with variable data to many taxpayers, some of them shares the same email address because they have the same accountant or are the same company group, etc. So we need to send it all (including to the ones that shares the same email because its different information but in the same campaign)
There is a way to do this in MailWiz or maybe a workaround?

What happens when a customer import a list with contacts with some duplicate email addresses but different Name, company, variable fields, etc?In such case, mailwizz will update the subscriber with latest data, so if your import list has same email address at line 1 and then again at line 10, with different field data, it will import whole information at line 1 as new and then when reaches line 10, will see the email already exists, and will update the whole data related to that email.
So most likely this is not going to work for you since you actually need to have same email several times in a list but with different data and as i said, that’s now how apps like mailwizz work, they expect no duplicates in your list.
You can alter the code that checks for email uniqueness when importing, which will mean you will be able to have multiple subscribers with same email address in your list and send a campaign to them all, each emails with it’s custom data, but that might have side effects in the long run.

Simply send the campaign to your contacts asking them for consent.
Add a consent checkbox to your lists and have them check that if they want to stay in your list by going to their profile url from the campaign.

There is no such thing as a one-click accept in GDPR. They must consent willingly by checking a checkbox where you explain them how you will use their data. The consent text the user has agreed to, has to be saved in database too.

Does this use a known framework? Is is possible to bypass the login so it can be used with an existing app that has its own authentication? Also, do all the service intergrations like Mandrill, Sparkpost come with this package or do they need to be purchased separately?

We use Yii Framework, version 1.1.x. If you are a PHP developer you should be able to come up with a bridge between mailwizz and other app.
All our delivery server integrations (sparkpost, mailgun, amazon, etc) are part of the app core, you don’t have to pay for them.

That’s simple, if you upload mailwizz in a subfolder, the installer is available at https://www.yourdomain.com/subfolder/install
Basically you just append /install to the url where mailwizz will be accessible.

Yeah, if you upload the latest folder, but you don’t want that, you will want to upload the contents of the latest folder in the mailer folder directly, and then access http://www.mydomain.com/mailer/install/
