Hi, I have a pre-sale question. I like the look and idea of the plugin – especially that I can add categories. I don’t want to use the plugin for a contest or for users’ to add any photos- it is mainly to display photos in various categories – Would it be possible to disable the UPLOAD PHOTO – PROFILE – LOGIN functions and remove the text on the bar and replace with – say words like PHOTO GALLERY 2109 – if so would you be able to guide me to the php file to edit ? thanks

There is no option for that. This gallery is for user to share images in community (family, photo club, company etc.) Or it can be used like 500px.com where people share photos and talk about them.
Would it be possible to update the gallery to bring it up to date?

My client really likes this plugin. However, he says there is a major feature missing. He wants the gallery to send him an email notification every time a user uploads a photo. Can this be done?
Yes of course. This option is in General setting->Email and notifications tab

Ah! It would be a useful option – otherwise users can upload “unsuitable” pictures and the admin has no way of knowing.

But for unsuitable images, you have an option. Every image can be approved before release all you need is to find option “Automatically activate uploaded images” and set to NO
Agree – but then how do you know there is an image waiting for moderation without an email?!!!
