Not sure what you mean? The smallest interval that the plugin can show is a year, and it’s divided by months.
Can the event included photo or video?
Photo – yes. Video – cant say, I haven’t tried.

Those are different product, this one works with just click, the other one has a draggable ball.

If you mean that you want to show only one month – no, you can’t. The smallest supported timespan is one year.
Hi – I love this plugin but just have a question about a customization I’d like to make to it.
Basically – I need some sort of mark or indication of the current date within the year.
Also – though this isn’t a must have – can I display only 7 months, instead of a whole year?
I assume that I’d be needing to heavily modify what you have, but my question is do you think that it’s possible with your script?
The indicator for the current date is quite possible to do with little code.
About the 7 months thing – it seems easy but I don’t know how many things will get screwed up in the process 
I’m not available for freelance right now, so unless you are good with JS I suggest to stick with the defaults

I implemented dark theme using the timelinexml.dark.css at my site.
Please help me in the following :
1. .timeline-event-content is going behind the sliding tab except the last two, please guide me so that it is under the menu and over the sliding tab. – just need to know which z-index should I change with what value.
2. which part of the CSS code from timelinexml.dark.css should I copy to my theme css file so that it does not mismatch with the theme style.... for your information my theme is based on css3 and html5 – SmartStart from themeforest.
3. please guide me how to change the scale color … the horizontal line with vertical lines to form the time line scale , as the background is black, the scale is not very clear so I would like to change color of the scale. just name the css file and the related parameters to change the scale color.

Is there an easy way to use this timeline to change the contents of a page as opposed to having a small popup?
We have alot of content that needs to be displayed per day.
Well, since you won’t be using the popups there are two things that you need to change a bit.
First, in the function that spits out the HTML code, you will have to change where to put that html code, probably change some IDs and such.
The second thing – there is a function that gets called when you click an event. Inside that function you will pretty much delete all the code and tell it show a div depending on the event that you click. Pretty basic stuff in my opinion, but I’m specialized in that kind of interactivity, so I can’t judge if it’s actually hard to do or not.
So you have two option – I can give you tips and hits over email what you need to change etc., or I can do the job for you, but that’s a service that I normally charge for.

Thanks for the heads up! I should be able to do that i’m familiar w/ Javascript. It would be cool if it to had an event when the date is selected though. Thats just a suggestion =)
Um, what do you mean an event? Right now there is a function that is called when you click an event, if that’s what you meant.
If you look at jQuery’s $.post and $.ajax commands you can do.
$.post(‘URL HERE ’, function(data) { });
You could do.
$(’#my-timeline’).timelinexml({ src: $(’#timeline-wrap’), onClick: function(date){ //Do Something W/ Date } });
I think this timeline is awesome personally. I’m just throwing ideas out there.

Would it be also possible if I use it for the month running, to display the days (01, 02,...)?

Right now the months aren’t showing because of a bug, but the new version is already in the queue and it should be available for download soon.
About the days – no, that’s not possible now.

Can’t seem to figure out how to make it show just a month. Or even just a week. Like Monday through Sunday and events on each day of the week. Also can’t find how to make each point have a visible label instead of just when hovered over. I’m playing with the CSS but not finding. Thanks for your help. Evan
On your first question – you can’t show only one month or a week. The smallest timespan that you can display is one year, it’s written in the item description.

When clicking on a date near the right side of the timeline container (#my-timeline), the event container overflows to the outside of the timeline container. Is there any way that this could be restrained to the width of the timeline container? As an alternative, is there a way to expand the timeline in years without having those years clickable?
There was a feature like this, that didn’t allow the event container to overflow, but I removed it because it was causing some bugs. If you want email me and I can send you an older version.

There is an example in the in the Manual, Step 2a. Copy the HTML , replace the text with yours and you are done.

How do you keep the content within the page? For example the dates on the far right side of the page go past the edge and are only half visible. Any thoughts?
