Looking to purchase this but need to clarify a few things first.
1) When using the HTML method to generate a ‘booklet’, I see no option to download the content as a PDF, is this because this plug-in is unable to actually GENERATE a PDF from HTML content or am I missing an option?
2) If I have an existing PDF that is pragmatically created using PDFSharp library and served to the HTTP context for a streamed download, will this plug in be able to display its otherwise static content in the flip-book style that is present in your demo’s?

About your questions:
1) Wowbook cannot generate a PDF file, it is not a html to pdf converter. Wowbook can only display pdf files, not generate them.
2) Yes, Wowbook should be able to display the pdf file.

Hi there, There is a bug on safari on fullscreen mode.. When I m using the keyboard there is a bug sound from safari.. The pages are moving well but ther is this bug.. I tried to desactive Keyboard navigation but the problem is the same.. When I press any keyboard touch in fullscreen mode on safari ther is this bug.. Do you have a clue how to fix that..? Thanks !!

Hi , thanks for the plugin, I m’ using “thumbnailsImages” to choose my thumbnails images, but the 10 first thumbnail aren’t showing any images.. they re just blank.. do you have a clue how to fix that..? or myabe I doing something wrong…

Wowbook is a jQuery plugin. You create or use a existing one a html file, write in the file html/javascript code to insert and configure the plugin and that’s it. I never used Adobe Muse but if you can do that with this software then you should be able to use Wowbook with Adobe Muse. But i can’t guarantee it.

Wowbook uses the library PDFjs to process pdf files, the same library used by Firefox. PDFjs supports some types of links/buttons in the pdf standard. My suggestion is to open your pdf file with Firefox, if the links in file works correctly, Wowbook will probably support it too. Or you can send the pdf file (send a email trough the support tab) and i will test it for you.

Just a heads-up that the current implementation does not include a toolbar icon for “zoom reset”. If you add zoomreset to your toolbar, it leaves a blank spot in the toolbar instead of showing an icon. Clicking on that spot does execute a zoom reset as expected, but it needs an icon. Also, the toolbar documentation doesn’t list zoomreset as an option (it is included in the controls section, but not the toolbar, even though it works). Thanks

If I am remembering correctly, the lack of the icon was one reason the zoomreset option was not listed in the documentation of the “toolbar” option. I had to choose between releasing the functionality without the zoomreset button on the toolbar or leaving the plugin without the functionality until the problem is corrected. I chose to release without the zoomreset, which is something that few people use.
I will look into the icon set again and see if i can “release” the zoomreset button on the toolbar.

I sent a support email through codecanyon 4 days ago, but received no reply. My question is the same as that of kraft9 from 8 months ago. I am trying to implement responsive single page mode with a PDF (once screen dimensions switch to tall rather than wide, or width less than XXX pixels, switch to single page mode). I have tried all of the methods in the documentation, but I cannot get any of them to work. None of the examples included with purchase include responsive single page mode. A link to a fully functional example rather than just snippets of code in the documentation would be appreciated. Thank you.

Honestly, i don’t know. Wowbook uses the library PDFjs, which is the same library used by the browser Firefox. You can open your pdf in Firefox and try to use the search function. If it works, probably Wowbook will work too.

It is possible, but requires some work.
The example “Wedding album” was created before the features responsive,container and automatic toolbar were implemented in the plugin.
To make it responsive using the features that are implemented today i would use the feature “container”. For the toolbar i would try to use the CSS to create some padding in container created by wowbook, then would take the toolbar already present in the example and position it in the padded space in the container.

I’m currently looking into integrating your library into a CMS to allow a client to have flipping books for documents. They would like to give a link or upload said documents and have it displayed in a flipping book style with page turning.

I don’t know if it’s possible. To answer that i would have to know the CMS system to give you a informed opinion.
My suggestion is to look for a plugin that have support for WordPress, maybe they will be easier to integrate with a CMS
