Aguardo Francisco
Bom dia!
We’ve not yet tested in multi-site but if you have a problem using it in this environment let me know: i will be happy to fix it.
You can create multiple booking forms. Go through the demo content to view the various booking modes possible.
Hope that helps.
Typps – obrigado por sua resposta.. irei verificar o conteudo demo e voltarei em breve!! se precisar de ajuda com a tradução para português-BR, pode me chamar!!
Great! Thanks a lot for the help
In the meantime if you have anymore questions, I will be happy to assist!
Hi Guys,
Interested in your plugin and have a few questions:
Have a site that I am working on that needs both a booking and event calendar.
1. Can I run two separate calendars, one for booking and one for events?
1. With the booking part its for a campsite so will need to be able to firstly select type of site then date range. is this possible?
2. With the booking would need to see first if there is availability on the campsite first is this also possible?
3. Based on campsite requirements either powered or un-powered will have two different price points. This could be set up so user see’s price for intended stay?
4. With the event side is it possible just to show event name and event details with image etc. No booking required for this.
I know this is a lot of questions but trying to find a solution for the website I am setting up.
Thanks in advance.
Kim Howell
Hi,
1. You can create and run an unlimited number of booking forms. View the demo content to see the various booking modes supported.
2. You can treat your camp site as a separate service or availability. This will allow you to select it first in order to enter the date range.
3. You can use the feeds import/export tool found in the plugin. This will allow you to sync the booking with an external resource, in this case two separate website if I’m not mistaken with what you are trying to achieve.
4. If cost depends on a conditional base, in this case based on a selection “powered” OR “unpowered”, you can use the optional extras to set this up.
5. Unfortunately no, though we do plan to support this scenario in a future release. At the moment we do not support events but rather offer a booking form which will require manual booking as seen on our demo.
Hope that helps.
Thanks for getting back to me,
With the question about checking for availability of sites on the campsite what I’ll need to confirm if the following is possible:
Customer comes onto site, see’s if what they are after is available e.g. powered site and in the date range that they are after. Then proceed to select they require dates and then get price based on type of site and date range selection.
Thanks again Kim
Customer on your site will see a dropdown list selection of “Powered” and “Un Powered”.
They will select one or the other and a calendar will display with the availability specific to what they selected. They choose one or more available days and get charged accordingly.
You set the availability yourself in the back-end i.e. the days that are bookable and the cost separately for “Powered” and “Un Powered”.
It will look something like the Multiple availabilies demo.
Thanks so much, and one last question the style of the calendar will that take on the theme styles that it will be used in? e.g. colours, fonts etc.
By default, the calendar will use the smoothness theme, which is the one you see in the demo, however you can set the calendar theme to “None”.
In this case either it will inherit the style from your theme or a custom calendar theme you have added yourself to your website.
Hi! I have some doubts.
I would like to know the differences between Calendarista and Booki.
Does Calendarista include all the functionalities from Booki but with many more options… or… are there some Booki functionalities that are not included in Calendarista?
Still no back-end demo?
Thanks!!!
Hi, good question. Thanks for asking!
The main difference is that booki has a built-in cart system. Quite frankly, I didn’t want to maintain yet another cart system when woocommerce already offered a nice cart system with built-in gateways far superior to anything I could ever make.
So with calendarista, the approach was to focus on our core functionality and solve only one problem, which is bookings.
Calendarista is the evolution of booki and we will keep investing more resources in it. Functionality wise, it has way more features and is much lighter in terms of physical size and resource consumption.
Back-end demo coming soon. These days were quite hectic on this side as we try to stabilize Calendarista and open up more features and possibilities. Apologies for the delay
Thank you very much for the quick answer!!!
Ok, so, if I understand you… Calendarista includes all functionalities from Booki (or more) except the built-in cart system…
Is that right? If so, I’ll purchase Calendarista right now
Yes of course!
Nice!!!
Now… I’m going to click the buy button
Thank you very much.
The plugin looks great, good job!
But I think END TIME isn’t working properly. For example, in “Single day with time range”, the “end time” must show the end of the last slot, but it shows the start of the last slot.
Please, can you help me to make it work properly?
Makes sense, I will investigate and fix it soon.
Thanks for reporting!
I’ve been investigating too…
- Let’s setup a “Single day with time range”, availability from 4 pm to 8 pm, 1 hour splits at 1$ cost. - Ok, try to book 1 hour, for exaple from 4 pm to 5 pm, the booking will cost 2$ because in the back end it’s booking 2 hours. - Now try to book the last hour, from 7 pm to 8 pm… you can’t, no option!
I think END TIME must show the sum of end slot start + split … am I right?
I have taken a look. The problem is there is no such thing as 24 hours, so when I wrote the alogrithm to auto generate slots, I’ve had to stick to 23:59 as my max value. If I add the last minute, then the last slot is the same as the start slot. We end up with a duplicate slot.
This is why you will see some incongruence, because autogeneration has it’s limits.
The fix is to add the extra slot manually. There are two ways you can add a slot. One is to auto generate and you’ve done this already. This is useful as it allows you to work faster.
Now however, since you want the last slot, add an extra slot using the create timeslot button. This button will allow you to add a slot into any day that you already auto generated or into a custom day. Working on your example, you said you want a slot from 7pm to 8pm, then add a slot 7:59pm to a monday. Then repeat it once for each week day.
This will give you the last 59minutes you need.
Feel free to correct me if I am mistaken.
It’s not necessary to stop at 59 min or 59 sec… because that will mean that every hour slot or split has to stop at the same point… that isn’t the expected behavior.
I was’t talking about autogeneration or manual generation. I was talking about how END TIME is handled when you create an appointment.
Adding an extra slot isn’t a fix, and don’t solve the problems I mentioned.
That said… It’s not possible to manualy create slots with defined duration:
- New problem detected: Manual “Create Timeslot” has no time lenght
- Another problem detected: “Autogenerate Timeslot” has start interval but no end interval, so start interval becomes nearly useless, it fills up 24 h regardless the start interval
Ok, I will try to let you see it’s not a 24 hour problem…
Forget my hour example and try this one:
- Let’s setup a “Single day with time range” for a person who is available from 8:00 am to 10:30 am and wants to sell 25 min sessions at 1 $ cost… so now you need to setup timeslots, ok, “Autogenerate Timeslots” only on Monday, start interval at 8 am, in 25 min splits at 1$ cost and 1 seat for each.
Because there is no end interval, once autogenerated you must manually delete all extra slots, so you only let those that start between 8 am and 10:05 am (this one ends at 10:30).
Availability view after deleting all we don’t need:
Monday
- Time Cost Seats Used
- 08:00 1.00 1 0
- 08:25 1.00 1 0
- 08:50 1.00 1 0
- 09:15 1.00 1 0
- 09:40 1.00 1 0
- 10:05 1.00 1 0
- Ok, try to book a 1$ session, that is a 25 min appointment (only 1 slot), for example from 8:50 am to 9:15 am, the booking will cost 2$ because in the back end it’s booking 2 slots (50 min). Complete the booking, so you can have a look at what happens at the backend. ()
Availability view after trying to book 1 time slot (shows 2 used):
Monday
- Time Cost Seats Used
- 08:00 1.00 1 0
- 08:25 1.00 1 0
- 08:50 1.00 1 1
- 09:15 1.00 1 1
- 09:40 1.00 1 0
- 10:05 1.00 1 0
(*) I think that happens because for END TIME it’s using “start time of slots” instead of “end time of slots” (what you get with current slot sum = start time + split).
- Now try to book the last slot, from 10:05 pm to 10:30 pm… you can’t, no option! It’s not showing option for the end of the 10:05 to 10:30 slot.
Please, review your code and find out if END TIME is showing the start point of slots (start time), instead of the end point of slots (start time + split).
If so, I think possible solution would be: END TIME must show the end points of the slots, what you get with the sum = slot start time + split.
Do you understand my explanation better now?
Yes, you are right. There is a miscalculation and the slots are being treated as individual slots instead of a range. Hence why the cost is doubled and end up with 2 seats taken instead of 1, in addition to the problem of not being able to book the last slot. The earlier proposed solution does not solve anything, I agree.
The conversation has gotten long and it’s better/easier to continue through email. That is the way we do support anyway. Contact through the items support page. I will report back and keep you posted on the solution.
Thanks much for the valuable feedback, quite priceless!
Ok, I’ll write to you right away
Hi! I need some special attention
Have you received my last 2 emails?
Heya! Yes I received your emails, will be responding to both shortly
I would like to limit the number of bookings a customer can have to x per calendar year. Is this possible? The customers are logged in to my website and have specific roles in the system.
Thank You
Hi, possible I guess. In your availability, keep the duration to 1 year and then set seats accordingly. However this is not customer specific unless you manage to put the booking shortcode on a page only a specific customer can access.
Having said that, what you are asking is way beyond the scope of this plugin.
Hi,
When I select the number of seats. The person is billed accordingly. But when I go the backend, the booking always shows as one seat. But the amount is as if it is 5 seats. I then go into the booking and change it, but it keeps going back to one.
I don’t know what to do.
Thanks
Hi, Thanks so much for reporting!
It is a bug, I have fixed it now. Update the plugin to version 1.5. If you want auto-updates, insert your purchase code in the plugins “Settings – Updates” page. This will allow you to update it directly from your WordPress dashboard.
Hope that helps.
Hi thanks. I would like to display a calendar with availability listed on each day. Right now, I have to click on a day for it to show availability – it’s not very user friendly. Any plans to display this in a better way like a table or a calendar? Or is it possible that i can code something like this myself and edit your code? Is that allowed in the license?
Also, it doesn’t work with Elementor – so I can’t use it.
Also, if I put two calendars on one page, it doesn’t work.
Hi,
1. Right now we do not have that type of functionality. But it is something we would like to implement in a future update. I don’t have a time frame but I will setup upvote to track feature requests soon and is the best way as we’d also like to monitor usage of other customers before making this type of change.
You can certainly try to do this on your own however it will mean maintaining your additions and having difficulty with future updates. I don’t recommend it.
2. I just tested elementor and it appears to work just fine. Ofcourse, there is no live preview of the plugin in the short-code “Editor” but that is how elementor works.
3. I just tried adding two separate bookings in the same page and they worked in conjunction just fine, so not sure what issue you are having with this.
For support, please contact us through our items support page and provide more details on what you are doing so that I can reproduce the behavior. Thanks!
OK, finally folded and added support for previewing short-code inside Elementor editor as well.
It will be part of our update this weekend.
Thank you for reporting and you great feedback as well!
Hello,
I’m interrested to buy your plug-in but i’d like to know if it’s possible to have a back-end demo. I just want to be sure your plug-in cover all my needs.
Thanks in advance.
Hi, we will provide a back-end demo in a week or two. At the moment try to review the screenshots seen in the items profile page. These cover much of the back-end but obviously are no substitute for a live back-end demo.
For any questions that you might have, please feel free to write us a message through the plugins support page. I will assist you as best as I can.
Hope that helps.
