Hello, I just activated Slider Revolution (magento ver. 1.9.3.7). I created a new slider, added a new image. In frontend (and backend too with a page refresh) the slider could not open the image: on chrome console “newtemplate/slider-1.jpg Could not be loaded !” I checked the url, the slider tries to open an image like so: src=”newtemplate/slider-1.jpg” with a relative path, but the directory/image is in media/revslider – so it doesn’t work. Can you help me? Thank you

- Cache is enabled? Did you try to clear it before checking frontend?
- Are you using any 3rd-party cache extensions like full page cache? Try to flush their cache

Hi, love the revolution slider a lot! One little thingy though, all my sliders are beng published twice on every page except the home page. Both custom made and downloaded templates. I’m on Magento 2 and I’ve put them in the xml. In the page source I noticed they both get their own id: id=”rev_slider_8_1_forcefullwidth” and id=”rev_slider_8_2_forcefullwidth”. I can’t seem to figure out where the second one is coming from. Please advice.

I have checked it with the same setup, but it shows only one slider. It seems that you have added same slider twice. Please check all places you have modified. Maybe you add it to block that included twice. Or you were testing widgets and add it a widget.
SOLVED: I was sure I didn’t add it twice, in fact, when I added the slider with the widget method I got a third slider on the page. After deleting the slider from the .xml I was left with the widget version (the single slider I just added). So the conclusion had to be: somehow my xml setup made the slider being publisch twice. After some playing around with referenceContainers and blocks I managed to end up with only one slider per page. Thank you for your support. Cheers.

Latest version is 5.4.6.3. It can be downloaded on Codecanyon in Downloads section.
Best practice is to install it on staging server first to test new update. If you do not have staging server – do files / database backup before install. After that- disable cache ( System > Cache management )
- turn off css / js merge ( System > Configuration > Developer )
- disable compilation ( System > Tools > Compilation ) if you are using it
- copy files from latest package over the existing files
- log out and login again to admin
- clear browser cache

We have purchased 3 copies of this plugin for Magento. Every version for Magento is failing on our home pages. I am getting no javascript errors and no system.log and no exception.log errors. I turned on the nwd logs and get this error:

Ok we figured out why the sliders were not working. It was a mistake on our side on dates. We accidently set all of the slides to expire one day early. This is what caused the sliders to go blank and caused the Magento exeption error. So the exception error only shows up if all the slides are expired and no slides ever appear on the slider. Quite an extreme case really.
This was on the most current version. Downloaded it this morning when I was having issues. This is on Magento 1.9.3.3

There should be no such problem with this model class in this version. Most probably the resource model file was accidentally missing from uploading. Please check if this file is uploaded: \app\code\Nwdthemes\Revslider\Model\ResourceModel\Navigation.php Or try to re-upload all of the extension files to make sure. If this will not help please provide more information regarding deployment mode you are using or send us access details so we can investigate and resolve this problem.

Hi, im thinking about buying the rev slider plugin but would like to know if all slider templates are useable as post-sliders? Im looking for my homepage a slider that can show portfolio posts. I love the good-news template for example, would this be possible? And how would it pull image/video from a post? Always the featured image or are there options which image to pull? I just installed the revolution slider on a Magento 2.2.1 site and activated the purchase to te able to use the templates library. But when u click on “add a slide from template” the following error message shows in a pop-up in the right upper corner of my screen: “Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in [/path/to/magento/]app/code/Nwdthemes/Revslider/Model/Revslider/RevSliderTemplate.php on line 682” where [/path/to/magento/] is ofcourse the root path to the magento code.
Can you help me out?

1/ The quickview is not working because have some issue from Revolution Slider:

Its strange. I have checked it on clean install with 5.4.6.3 and it is working fine. Did you follow upgrade instructions? Did you re-compile the code?

My version is 5.4.6.3 and I have this error.
1. Please check that you have uploaded all extension files. Try to reupload them.
2. Check that extension files has same permissions as other magento files.
3. If you are using compilation mode – run recompile.
4. disable cache ( System > Cache management ). If you have any 3rd-party cache extensions like full page cache please disable it too.
5. turn off css / js merge ( System > Configuration > Developer )
6. Clear browser cache and check it once again.
I have 2 stores running, I embed the slider using the widget. This works on the 1 (main store), the 2nd just gives me an: Revolution Slider Error: on red background
I also get a 404 when accessing Revolution Slider->Configuration

Please check if user role assigned to your admin user have permissions to access Revolution Slider > Configuration
Also you can check if option to enable slider globally is enabled or appropriate pages are added in include slider includes option.
And if you are using Magento 2 make sure that static content was deployed on all stores after Slider Revolution installation.

We are using 1.9.3.2 version of Magento with all the latest patches. Our Rev Slider plugin is at Version 5.4.6.2 StarPath (20th October 2017).
I have 3 issues below that Im facing right now numbered in order of their importance…
1. I have created a Product Based Slider fetched by specific categories. I then created a slide inside it with a {{name}} attribute and image as a background for testing. 2. Whenever I open the Template Store and add a Youtube Hero template, and some other template. It just shows me the NOW INSTALLING animation and what seems to be the standard error message pop-up on the top far right of the window (just the X icon and nothing else then it disappears). 3. Can you please give more details or point me to a documentation regarding the “Callback” option whenver you add an Click Action for an element.

Hello, we have set upgrade but it’s not working correctly, slider not displaying on the page, only after a couple of minutes and width differs from what we had on the previous version, we tried to fix issue ourself, but unsuccessfully. Our previous version was 1.2.6 and we bought version 5.4.6.3. Looking forward to your answer.
